Dominos POV

After the sleepover at Alex's he took me back to jacks. "I'm home" I call "domi!" Andie calls, she runs and hugs me and I hug back "hi Andie" I say "where jack?" I ask "he's in the kitchen" she says "thanks" I say and I walk to jack "hey kiddo" he says and I smile "hi" I say "man its hot in here" I mutter and I roll my sleeves up, I see jack squint his eyes and he grabs my arms "are these new?" He asks "no" I say "liar, you have 3 raw ones" he says "jack, that was from the day before you adopted me. I have no new ones" I say "does anyone else know?" He asks as he raises his voice "Alex and Lisa" I squeak "so you told them before me?" He says raising his voice even more "no, Lisa saw them when I was getting into my PJs, then she said I had to tell Alex, so I did" I say quietly "I want you to give me your blades" he says angrily "I dont have any! Jack I promise I dont have any" I say as tears fill my eyes "I said. Give me your blades Dominique" he says "I dont have any!" I yell "talk to me until your willing to give me them, until then dont talk to me" he growls and he walks away. Tears fall down my cheeks and I Fall to my knees, I pull my sleeves Down and I wipe my eyes. I run to the door and I grab my skateboard and I skateboard out the door. Tears fall down my face as I make it to Alex's and I bang on the door "Alex! Let me in!" I cry then I hear rapid footsteps and the door opens "domi?" Lisa asks and I sob "oh my God, Alex!" She calls and he runs "domi" he whispers And I run and hug him as I cry into him "shhhh, hey its ok" he whispers as he wraps His arms around me I start to scratch my wrists "stop it,your gonna re open one" Lisa says as she gently takes my hand away from my arm "c'mon, tell me what happened" alex says as they walk me to the living room. I sit down and wrap a blanket around me, Alex sits in front of me and Lisa sits behind me "what happened?" He asks as he takes my hand "I went home and I was talking to jack. It got hot so I rolled my sleeves up" I start and tears swarm my vision "hey grabbed my arms and asked if they were new, I said no and he called me a lair cuz of the three raw ones from the day before you adopted me. He was raising his voice at me and demanding I gave him my blades, I said I didnt have any cuz I dont and he said I wasn't aloud to talk to him until I gave him my blades" I sob "that fucking dick" Alex growls and Lisa hugs me as I sob. The door bell rings and Alex gets up and goes to answer it "hi Andie, yea come in" he says and I hear rapid footsteps and I see Andie "domi" she says and she runs to me and hugs me tightly "I'm so sorry about Jack, I dont know what's gotten into him" she says as she strokes my hair "its fine" I saw shakily as I wipe my eyes "you can stay here if its ok with Alex and Lisa" she says "we're fine with it, we love having domi round" Lisa says "yeah, she's my Buddie" Alex says and I let out a tearful giggle "I'll talk to jack, but domi tell me the truth, have you got any blades?" She asks worriedly "no, andie I promise you I dont, I left them all at the orphanage" I say "ok, I'll talk to jack, text me ok? I love you" she says "I will and I love you to" I say and she smiles, she kisses my head and walks out. I let out a sigh and I lean into Lisa as she hugs me "hey kid, you alright?" Alex asks "not really" I say "c'mere" he says and he opens His arms, I lean into him and i wrap my my arms around his waist, he wraps His arms around me and I sigh "you wanna know something?" I ask "what?" He asks "I really want to change up my look" I say "let's do it" he says "really?" I ask "yeah, if you want it and it makes you Happy, then it makes me Happy, right Lisa?" He asks "right" she says and I smile "let's do it!" I say and they laugh

We walk into the mall and I go straight to the salon and they follow me "hello, how can I help?" A girl who looks about 19 asks "my daughter wants to change up her look a little" Alex says and my heart flutters when he calls me his daughter "right, well I'm Riley" she says "I'm domino" I say "thats a rad name" she says "thanks" I say "if you'd like to follow me" she says and I nod "Lisa, can you come with me?" I ask "yeah" she says and we walk to Riley "ok, so what do you want done?" She asks "can I have it cut a shorter and dyed grey?" I ask "of course" she says and I smile.

After about an hour and a half its done "ok, look in the mirror" she says and I look and I gasp (at the top) "its perfect, thank you so much" I say and Riley giggles "no problem darlin' you look gorgeous" she says "can i get some extensions the same color?" I ask "yeah! Hold on a sec" she says and walks away, she walks back in and gives them to me and I smile and run to Alex "Alex look!" I say "wow! Domi you look stunning!" He says and I smile as he hugs me "how much is it?" Lisa asks "for her I'll take $10" she says "really? Thank you so much" I say "no problem hun" she says and I smile. After we walk out we go and get some lunch "so what do you wanna do now?" Lisa asks "can I get some piercings?" I ask "yeah, what are you gonna get?" Alex asks "im sure what yet but I'll decide what when we get there" say "cool" he says and I smile. After getting the piercings (at the top also) and shedding a few tears we head home.

Once we get home I see jacks car and my eyes widen "no" I whisper "hey, its ok, I won't let him yell" Alex says as he wraps his arm around my shoulder "you promise?" I ask "promise" he says and I nod, we walk in and Andie immediately hugs me, I hug back. After she pulls away I stay close to Alex and Lisa when I see jack. when he sees me His eyes widen "you've dyed your hair and gotten piercings" he says and I nod, not daring to talk as my shoes become the most interesting thing in the room

"Are you going to give me your blades yet?" He asks "like I told you before, I dont have any" I say "cut the bullshit" he growls "jack, back off, she said she doesn't have any, leave it" Alex growls "jack I promise you, I don't have any" I say as my eyes fill with tears "those three raw cuts tell me otherwise" he shoots back "I told you! They're from the day before you adopted me!" I exclaim "dont you dare raise your voice at me" he growls and tears fall down my face "I wish you never adopted me" I growl "what?" He asks "I said I wish you never adopted me! I wish it was Alex! I love Andie like a second mom, I really do, but you? Your just like my dad expect not the abuse" I growl as tears fall faster down my face and his eyes soften "domi i-" I cut him off "no! Dont domi me! I told you I didnt have any blades, you should've taken my word for it! Alex, Lisa and andie did! So why can't you!? Its not hard! When Lisa asked if I still do it or had blades, I told her no and she said she was proud of me! When I told Alex and he asked the same thing he also said he was proud of me. Andie asked out of worry and when I said no she didnt push it and believed me! But you!? You decided to shut me out still I give you something I don't have!" I yell "c'mon hun, calm down" Alex says "no! Lex I love you I really really do, but I will not calm Down from this. Ive been from therapist to therapist, they all told me I needed help, I didnt need help, I needed love! I needed someone who was always gonna be there for me, someone who would always hug me and tell me everything was gonna be ok! I didnt need them asking over and over and fucking over if I self harmed at any point of the day! And I sure as hell dont need you to do it either jack barakat!" I yell and Lisa hugs me from behind "its ok, let it out" she whispers

"Domi I'm only doing this because i-" I cut him off again "dont you fucking DARE say your doing this because you love me. Dont you even try to pull that fucking bullshit. I know why you adopted me, you adopted me out of fucking pity. Well guess what barakat I dont need nor fucking want your pity or sympathy for that matter! Send me back, I dont fucking care anymore because I have two people right here who will happily adopt me again!" I yell with poison dripping from each word "oh yeah? Who the hell gave you permission to dye your hair and get piercings?" He yells "I can do whatever the fuck I want to myself! You dont own me, no one owns me! I can decorate my body however the hell I want to! Its my fucking body!" I yell "your so disrespectful!' He yells "no, I'm not! I just know how I'm supposed to be treated! After what my dad did I know how the fuck I'm supposed to be treated and if you can't treat me with respect dont fucking expect it back you dick head!" I scream as my sadness turns to pure rage "I'm sending you back" he growls "no jack, please dont" Andie begs are tears fill her eyes, I glare at jack and I pull Andie into a hug "I love you" I whisper "I love you to" she sobs quietly "you can make me cry all you want barakat, but the moment you make Andie cry, you better hope theres a god" I growl as I calm andie down "I won't be gone for long, Alex promised he'd come back for me" I say "damn straight" Alex chimes in and I smirk at jack "like I said barakat, I have people here who love and care about me" I say
