Getting to Know Each Other

Mabel's POV

I dragged the two down the stairs to the living room where Grunkle Ford was waiting.

"Hey kids, I see you've met Crystal. Anyway, can I talk to you, Dipper, Mabel?" He asked, moving towards the kitchen.

"Be right back!" I said, letting go of Crystal and dragging Dipper after Ford. From the incident that happened up stairs, I had a feeling I was going to have a good way to spend the summer: getting Dip-stick and Crystal together.

"What is it Grunkle Ford?" Dipper asked.

"OK, Stan doesn't want you two telling Crystal about the monsters in the woods. Heck, he doesn't even really let her go out there by herself. He also doesn't want you to mention ANYTHING about last summer. He's afraid she's going to get ideas and end up getting hurt." Ford said.

"Seriously?!" Dipper complained.

"I know, I know, but she means a lot to your Grunkle. She was the only thing to have when I got sucked into the portal." Ford explained.

I sighed, knowing he was right.

"But, I that doesn't mean we can't meet in secret at night and talk about the supernatural." Ford said, smiling.

Dipper copied Ford's actions, smiling himself. I couldn't help it either, I was smiling like a dope as well.

"Moving on to more important matters however, I think, that well, I think Bill is back." Ford said, dropping his voice in a whisper, his smile fading.

Dipper and I paled. "What do you mean?" I asked, whispering as well.

"I mean, remember how Stan's memories came back? I completely erased his mind, there's no way he should have remembered. Anyway, I'm thinking that when his memories came back, so did Bill, but just his mind scape form, meaning that he is weaker than before, so he shouldn't be able to be as powerful as before."

Dipper's mouth dropped. "So you mean, he's still out there? Oh god! He could be planning our demise right now!" Dipper exclaimed, rising his voice a bit.

Ford nodded. "We can talk about this later. Go talk to Crystal." He said, walking away.

We walked back to the living room to see Crystal upside down on the couch, her blue hair touching the floor.

I chuckled. "I want to join! Move over!" I said, and joined her upside down on the couch.

"You two are nuts." Dipper said, sitting on the floor.

We both chuckled.

"So, Crystal, you were born with blue hair?" I asked, trying to make some conversation.

"Yeah." She answered. "Oh, head rush," she said, turning right-side up and sitting on the floor next to Dipper.

"So, this is your second time being here for the summer?" She asked.

"Yep." Dipper answered.

"So you've met Soos, Wendy and her gang, and Melody?" Crystal asked.

"Yep! We got Soos and Melody together, and same thing with Tambry and Robbie!" I exclaimed, sitting right side up now that the blood was rushing to my head.

"Cool." She said. "What did you do last year?"

"Uh, were basically did normal stuff, I mean, we stayed away from Stancakes, worked in the Mystery Shack, and played Attic Stuff Golf." I said, trying not to mention any supernatural things since Ford said not too. I kinda though it was unfair, she deserves to know.

"Kids!" Stan's voice came from the kitchen, I need to scratch myself in three places at once!" He yelled.

"RUN!" Crystal yelled, and we hid behind the sofa as Stan came into the living room, looking for us.

"KIDS!" He yelled, moving on the the next room.

It maybe a bit sad not to tell Crystal about our adventures, but I was sure we'd have more fun doing normal things.
