Chapter 65: The Ugly Pedo

I don't own One Piece

........................................

While I was grateful that we weren't in water anymore, I was skeptical of Luffy's plan on taking the Princess for a walk. Considering what the rest of us did just a moment ago. A certain fact which I had yet to share with Luffy, since we currently are with the Princess which he was very clear on describing as a crybaby. I felt that if I let on that we had tied up her father and the guards the Princess would freak out and think Luffy was in on it. That is not something I'm going to mess up, considering Luffy has pure intentions.

Of course once the Princess talked with me for a bit, I also didn't want to scare her. She's incredibly sweet, and quite innocent from what I've gathered. It almost makes me feel bad for tying up her father. Though it is weird talking to someone in a shark's mouth.

Playing with the tassels on my blue poncho, I frowned when I saw a small tear towards the bottom of the fabric. Considering I had used second hand fabric to make it, I can't be too mad. I'd just have to fix that later. Hopefully I can get some new fabric before we escape the island.

When Luffy tapped my shoulder, I turned my attention away from my poncho and towards my Captain. "What?"

He was squinting at the ground, "Is that Sanji and Chopper?" I followed the direction he was pointing in. Sure enough it was the two of them, though there appeared to be some angry people around them.

When I nodded, Luffy stood up and waved his arm. "Hey! Sanji! Chopper!" He grinned, "How's your nosebleed, Sanji?!"

I frowned, standing up as well. That figure Chopper was standing over was familiar. I'm almost positive he's that fishman we met before with Caime. What was his name again?

"Are those some of your friends?" The Princess asked.

"They're my pirate crew." Luffy answered.

"Luffy, what was that fishman's name that was with Caime?" I asked, then sighed and elaborated upon seeing Luffy's blank look. "The one that cooks takoyaki?

"Hachi!" He answered immediately.

I pointed down again, "He's hurt."

"Huh?" His grin dropped into a frown. "I'm going down there for a second!" He hopped down without a second thought, making me rise to follow.

However I only let myself fall a few feet, stopping myself when I was eye level with the Princess. "Please stay right here. I'm going after Luffy, and we'll be right back."

"Okay, Katsu." She answered back.

Smiling once more, I let myself fall towards the ground. Seeing the angry crowd, I took out a fan and let the wind from the swipe blow them back a bit.

"-Are you hurt?! Who did that to you?!" Luffy demanded.

"Katsu-chwan~!" Sanji greeted as I landed softly on the ground.

I didn't say anything back to the happy Chef. Folding up my fan I kept it in my hand as I glared at the fishmen as they stood back up.

"He won't say!" Chopper cried, "he just keeps telling us to leave the island!"

"Was she the one to blow us back?" The crown murmured.

"No way. Anyway I thought the Straw Hats were occupying Ryugu palace."

Rolling my eyes, I turned away from them as they didn't seem to have the intent to attack yet. Glancing at Sanji I eyes the two band-aids on his nose. "You feeling better yet?" I asked, frowning as I squinted at him. Did a nosebleed really do all that?

However before he could answer the shark holding the Princess in his mouth spat her out making me freeze. He appeared to be gulping in air, as if he had been gagging. Upon her being spat out she was instantly recognized, and in return my eye started twitching.

"Oh no!" Chopper cried, looking from Shirahoshi to Sanji.

I caught on quickly. It likely wasn't a good idea to let Sanji see the princess. Not with his nosebleed problem at the moment.

"What? Something's behind me?" Sanji asked.

I stepped up quickly, "Ah, Sanji." The Chef immediately looked at me, his eyes turning to hearts. I pulled out my sketchbook, which was actually beside my other fan on my belt, and handed it to him. "What do you think of these drawing I've done so far?"

Chopper looked at me in panicked confusion. His face screaming 'that's all you got?!'. I shrugged in response.

"They're all so wonderful, Katsu-chwan!" Sanji swooned. "Your art is the best I've ever seen, you capture every detail. It's like I'm there!"

"Hey wimpy!" LUffy demanded angrily looking at Shirahoshi. "Why'd you come out of the shark?!"

"I-I'm sorry, Luffy! Please don't be mad at me!" And now the Princess was crying.

Great. I love how all of our plans always go absolutely according to how we plan then.

"Thank's Sanji," I paused, my eyes widening as I realized Sanji was watching onto who was behind him.

"Sanji! No! Don't turn around!" Chopper demanded.

"Princess?" Sanji muttered, lowering my sketchbook a little. "Are you telling me... The Mermaid Princess is right behind me?"

"Ah, Sanji." I poked his chest, just barely gaining his attention. It wasn't as muscular as Zoro's, but it was definitely muscular. "Can I draw you later on?"

He blinked at me, but another scream of the princess drew his attention.

"You'll be done for if you see the Mermaid Princess!" Chopper cried, seeing Sanji's attention fading.

"Chopper," Sanji said with determination, "I'd rather live my dream and die!"

"I thought your dream was the all blue!" Chopper wailed in shock.

I snapped my fingers, my eyes brightening. "Ah! Sanji! I'll draw her for you!" He didn't seem very convinced, so I panicked and stammered another excuse. "I'll... I'll kiss you?"

That made the chef stop, pausing to look at me with wide eyes. "W-What?"

Now was the perfect time for us to knock him out.

At least that's what I was going to do until Chopper charged in, thinking Sanji was turning to look at the Princess. His little reindeer body collided with Sanji just enough for the chef to have full sight of the crying Princess.

I sighed, "Well damn."

"Wow." Sanji whispered. "The greatest artist in the world could never capture..."

I frowned, my eyes narrowing into a glare. He claims Arisu wouldn't be able to draw Shirahoshi accurately. Hell, I could draw her perfectly.

Dumb ass.

Just for that I'm going to send in an ugly picture to the marines for an update on his wanted poster. I'll even have Zoro have some input on it. On top of this whole 'dream' of his is just plain stupid. I'm definitely judging him on that.

Of course when Sanji turned to stone from looking at the Princess, I couldn't help but smirk.

"Doubting Arisu-sama." I tsked lowly, snatching back my sketchbook from Sanji's hands. "Stone if only the start of your stupid punishment."

I'll make sure to make his picture look super ridiculous. Then he'll be stuck with it for at least two years, if not more.

I blinked, dragging myself out of my thoughts as rope was wrapped around me. Looking behind me I saw a large fishman tying me up.

A smirk drew on my face as I looked up at him. "Eh? Kinky?"

Needless to say the man's face lit up in flames as he finished the knot and nudged me towards Luffy, who was also tied now.

"They really think they captured us." I mused as the fishmen cheered about the captured Straw Hats. I chuckled, looking at the rope. "In something so simple. A damn rope."

"Hey! What's your problem?!" Luffy demanded angrily.

I snapped my head to look at Hachi as a fishman shoved a finger in his face. "I remember you. You're that scalawag who used to sail with-"

The man never got the chance to finish before a sudden strong gust of wind blew him back. I smirked as the man skid across the ground, Hachi looked at me in shock.

"Hmm, looks like mother nature doesn't like assholes." I muttered, looking towards the princess as she tried to defend us.

"Hey! Something's coming this way! Look!" Luffy shouted, looking up at the sky. "Do you see it, Katsu?"

"We're not falling for your tricks!"

I nodded at Luffy, "Ah, it's some ugly guy. Should I free us now, Captain?"

"Is that Vander Decken?!"

What a weird name. Though I suppose it fits. A weird name for an ugly guy.

"I found you! Bahohoho!" Vander exclaimed, advancing towards us. "Shirahoshi!"

I looked up at the princess, seeing more tears in her eyes. Luffy was right, she is quite wimpy. Though I suppose she gets a pass this time.

"Yeah, I think I'll have you untie me soon." Luffy responded.

My Captain had filled me in on some stuff. One of the things being that he promised to protect Shirahoshi on their little adventure. Seeing as how Luffy is my Captain, I backed him up. So long as Luffy is protecting her, then so will I.

"Answer me, Shirahoshi! All you have to do to escape death is say yes! Marry me!"

I frowned, glaring at the flying man. He better hope I heard that wrong. Nobody had the right to threaten another with death in order to marry them.

"We should kill him." I muttered, feeling Chopper jump at my comment.

"You're just not my type!" Shirahoshi cried, turning him down.

Though I was shocked at the excuse, I still snickered. This princess is wimpy, yes, but there is still hope for her. If she were a lost cause she would have caved immediately.

While I was snickering, Vander was reacting in shock at the rejection, as were the citizens. Though I suspect they each had a different reason for their reaction.

"You've been rejecting me for ten years!" Vander yelled, anger spiting into his voice. "Who are you waiting for?!"

"Someone who isn't a pedophile! You dumb ass!" I growled back, glaring at the man having done the math in my head. She was barely sixteen, and he had been doing this for six years?! However, he ignored me.

"If you won't love me you don't deserve to live!" He wailed, "Die Shirahoshi!"

As the crowd began to shout at the Princess to run I watched the upcoming object. The timing needed to be right.

"Don't run! Stay where you are wimpy!" Luffy yelled, urgency in his voice. "If you run away I can't protect you!"

I glanced at the upcoming citizens. They thought Luffy had threatened their princess. How stupid.

He apologized before a wave of conquer haki blasted from him. It almost surprised me, it felt on par with Sato's, and he's had perfect control for years now. Luffy didn't need to give me a verbal command. Just before he jumped, the wind sliced off his ropes.

"Ahh!" Chopper cried as Luffy jumped, then he looked at me with wide eyes. "You could have freed us the whole time?!"

I smiled at him, "Yeah, they only put rope on us. I just didn't want to do it at the wrong moment." Slicing the ropes around me I turned and did the same for the other three.

Seeing Luffy ready to throw the creep to the ground I turned to the shark.   We needed to be ready to go. Waking up the shark, who looked as if he felt physically ill, I looked at the others.

"Get on the shark. Luffy's about done." Looking at Sanji I sighed. "Do you need help, Chopper?"

"Come on, guys! Let's go!' Luffy shouted, looking at Shirahoshi. "Hurry up wimpy!"

"O-Okay. But please don't shout at me." She was still teary eyed as she went towards the shark. "It makes me nervous."

"I got Sanji," Chopper said, turning into his man form and picking up the chef. "Thanks though."

I grinned and joined them on the shark. Though the citizens shouted out in worry, we continued on. Luffy has a destination in mind, and we weren't going to alter that.

End of Chapter 65!

Sorry for the wait! I'm already working on the next chapter, so hopefully it will be posted before the end of the week! I hope ya'll enjoyed this chapter.

On another note, here's a little picture I drew of Katsu as a neko... Yes, she's angry because someone woke her up from her nap.

This is not edited.
