Chapter 59: Nipple Lights!

I don't own One Piece

........................................................

My tongue poked out of the corner of my mouth as I shuffled through my bags. The light had vanished and we were sailing in darkness. Before anyone could protest I had gone to my room to grab some flashlights.

Feeling sweat drip down my back I let out a huff and tossed my jacket off. With my poncho still tied around my waist I let out a sigh as I felt a little cooler without the heavy jacket on me.

Bending down I continued to dig through my bag. Thankfully, I managed to grab a flashlight. Considering I can never find anything in my bag when I need it I'll consider this a win. Clicking it on my eyes blinked at the sudden burning light. Once I was used to it, I shoved everything back in my bag and walked out of the room.

The light guided me back up the deck. However, before I could step foot on the grass the ship shot forward. My eyes widened as I fell backwards down the stairs and I felt air leave our bubble.

Rubbing my head I sat up and frowned. "How many coup de burst have they used?" I muttered worriedly. "Our air here is clearly limited."

Sighing, I walked back up the steps, this time making it to the deck. Holding up the flashlight I grinned. "Guys! I found- What the fuck is that?" My grin dropped as I pointed to Franky. Namely his lit up nipples.

The Cyborg grinned at me, "Nipple lights!" He announced simply.

I blinked, my flashlight now useless. My nose scrunched up for a moment before I nodded. "I'm both impressed and slightly disturbed." Then I tapped my chin and looked at my chest. "Yet, I strangely want some too."

The males, with exception of Chopper, looked at me with reddening faces. Quickly Robin and Nami stepped over to me and shook their heads. Robin turned me away from Franky, shaking her head softly.

"Franky has been a terrible influence on you." Robin sighed, then looked back at Franky with a chilling glare. "Don't give such ideas."

Nami blinked at me, pointing to my exposed skin with wide eyes. At her silence I felt my insecurities sneaking back up. Perhaps I should have hidden my scars. Especially my back, that's where most of them are.

Did they scare her that badly?

How ugly.

"Katsu! Your skin looks so healthy! It's practically glowing!" Nami marveled, "And you have abs? Do you know how hard it is for us girls to get abs!"

I blinked. She wasn't disgusted by the scars?

Then my face light up in flames.

Clearing my throat, I nodded. "Ah, of course I know how hard it is to get abs. I wasn't really going for abs though. Arisu-sama just worked me hard." I looked down at my stomach. "Also, do you mean I'm sweaty? It's hot."

"No, that's-" Nami shook her head in amusement. "Never mind." Then she grinned, almost looking proud? "You've never showed this much skin!"

Robin cleared her throat softly, halting Nami. Instead, she brought our attention to Franky, who was flashing his nipple lights. "It appears that Franky is trying to find out what that light is."

I blinked in admiration at Franky. "Those nipple lights really are useful."

"Do you see anything?" Chopper asked, squinting at the approaching lights.

"It's still too bright." Usopp responded.

I frowned, "Ah, I don't have a good feeling about this."

Then it appeared. Some giant fish with sharp shark like teeth. The light coming from the top of it's head.

I blinked, then sighed. "Oh yeah." That's right. How could I forget my crew's luck? How we always run into something crazy. How I always question my decision on joining.

If I stayed with Arisu I feel like my blood pressure would be much lower. But I suppose this is a reasonable price to pay for such a crew, as well as the freedom and adventure that comes with them.

"A giant anglefish!! We're doomed!!" Brook cried as the crew screamed. "We've been tricked by a deep sea hunter! This is really bad!"

Knowing it was about to attempt to chomp on us, I focused on the air molecules in the ocean. Pushing forward for one good push, the ship moved forward quickly. Just barely, we missed the fish's attempt.

Letting out a slight pant, I recovered my energy from using the devil fruit in the sea. "Damn ocean." I muttered.

"That was too close!" Usopp cried, staring worriedly at the fish. "We were totally caught in it's trap! Can we get away?!"

"Hey!" Franky drew our attention away from the fist.

Instead now our attention was brought to a giant thing... man? The face was round and rimmed with hair, his facial hair going around his mouth. He reminded me of a man baby, if that was a thing, and he has thick lips and a weird shaped nose.

"So... weird." I muttered, pulling out my sketchbook and starting to draw the strange man as my crew cried in terror.

"A man?!" Nami cried, not sure what to make of this either.

"A sea monster that looks like a giant?!" Usopp offered.

I paused to gently pat Chopper on the head. The poor reindeer was simply wailing in terror. Unfortunately it didn't do much to calm the doctor.

"It's a sea spirit!" Usopp tried again to figure out what it was.

I'm sticking with man baby.

I shot my head up to look at the man, who threw his arm back. He was preparing a punch. Raising my own hand, I solidified the air around the bubble in case he truly was aiming at us.

"Katsu! Do something!" Usopp cried, ducking behind me.

"We'll be fine." I answered calmly.

Then the giant man hit the fist. "Ankoro! Bad fish!"

"It's hitting the fish?! Usopp yelled, gripping my shoulders. I glanced down at his hands for a moment before ignoring him and simply sighing as my hand stayed ready to defend the ship.

"I said no! Don't eat ships!" The man baby scolded the fish. "How many times do I have to tell you that? Captain Vander Decken will be angry!"

Nami inched closer to the railing, standing closer to beside me now. "Did-Did it just save us?"

"Run! I don't care what he did! Let's run!" Usopp demanded, still cowering behind me.

I almost smiled at him. I never thought I would have missed Usopp and his strange cowardly moments. Only now did I realize I even missed it. It was amusing.

"Dead men tell no tales. Dead men have no desires."

I blinked, looking away from the giant man and towards the sound. It looked to be an old ship, one that reminded me of the one we first met Brook on.

"In this Blackened nation where not even a crow flies, dream men's fingers have no need for jewels. The darkness hides even their regret."

The singing continues, sounding low and haunted. My eyes zoomed in on the torn and tattered sail. Just barely I could make out 'Flying Dutchman'. An old tale of a haunted ship. It was one of Mamoru's favorite bedtime stories to tell me as a child.

"Find it! Find it! The sunken treasure is mine for the taking! I'm the richest man in the world!"

Tears began falling from my eyes as I looked at the ship. This was too much.

"No way!!" Usopp cried as Chopper screamed, the sniper letting go of me to grip the doctor.

Nami was quick to join in on the screaming, "There's one under the sea too?!"

Franky looked at me and blinked, lifting his glasses to get a closer look at me. "Ow! Katsu, you okay?"

Sniffing I held up my sketchbook, tears still streaming down my face. "There's too much stuff to draw. I don't think I will be able to get everything."

Though Brook was shouting in terror now, neither Franky or I turned.

"You're doing SUPER!" The Cyborg grinned, laughing at me. "I thought you were scared too!"

I shook my head, wiping my tears. "But I have to draw this ship! It's probably the closest we'll get to an actual life ghost ship! The Flying Dutchman!" Then I turned to motion back towards the man baby with my hand waving around. "But I also wanted to draw the giant guy too! I need a closer look at the ship!"

A grin tugged at my lips as an idea sprouted in my head. "Yeah! I wanna closer look at the ship! So I can get all the details! Oh, can you imagine? If I were able to actually accurately draw the Flying Dutchman?" My eyes were practically stars at the thought.

Usopp stared at me in terror before taking my shoulders once more. "Katsu!" He gripped my shoulders firmly. "You're thinking of this all the wrong way! Your courage is terrifying!" I blinked at him in confusion.

"...Smash them!"

I blinked my grin faltering as I pushed Usopp back as I looked at the giant. "Aye Aye sir!"

"Franky! Use Coup de Burst!" Nami ordered.

I focused on tightening the air molecules. The giant wasn't using haki so we should be okay, so long as I tighten them good enough.

However, I stopped once the Kracken jumped in and delivered a good punch. Already knowing where it came from, I sat back down on the railing with a grin.

"Stop! That's enough!" I heard Luffy order then in a happier tone. "Good job!"

I laughed happily as my crew called out to the three. Though the three now shared one bubble.

"Hey! Nami! Katsu! Robin!" Sanji swooned, gaining an annoyed look from Zoro.

"I looked everywhere for you guys!" Luffy laughed in a carefree attitude.

Zoro looked annoyed, "What a bunch of clowns, getting lost like that."

Grinning at the comment, I picked up the rope that still rested beside me and gave it a hard throw. Luffy caught it and I reeled in the three.

Once they were back on deck a teasing smirk grew on my face. "So who busted their bubbles?"

"Well, Sanji's and my bubbles burst." Luffy answered with his usual grin. "So we got into Zoro's. We almost died! Shishishi!"

I shook my head softly in amusement before nudging Zoro. "Ne, either that means you're the most careful, Mr. Hottie, or you didn't get to fight."

"Stop calling me that, I didn't get to fight." Zoro sighed, looking down at me before narrowing his eyes. "Eh? Were your crying or something?"

I rubbed my neck and chuckled. "Ah, I wasn't able to keep up with all the things we were seeing. I really wanted to draw that haunted ship but I couldn't get close enough..." I mumbled the last part mostly to myself.

"Next time." Zoro nodded, then pointed from Nami then to me. "Also, why are you wearing that like Nami?"

I looked down at my bra, then at Nami before looking back at Zoro. "First, our bra's are completely different. Nami's is more of a bikini top. I've known those to fall off easily. Mine is closer to a sports bra but still more durable. I made it to be more supportive and reliable." I felt the band around me, which is about four inches thicker in width. "Mine won't just fly off, where I'm surprised Nami has so much confidence in hers."

Then I looked back at the swordsman, who refused to look at my black bra. "Second, it's hot. My poncho normally keeps cool, but it's really hot down here."

He nodded then, "So it's more secure than Nami's?" I nodded silently. "Alright. Good job keeping the ship safe." I grinned at him.

A deep rumble echoed around us. The sound alone loud enough to shake our ship. Worriedly, I turned to Nami, hoping it would just be Luffy's stomach.

Of course I'm sadly disappointing as Nami looks extremely worried.

"Oh no! The submarine volcano is about to erupt!" Nami cried.

Well doesn't that sound nice.

End of Chapter 59!

I have a feeling a ship may have developed during this chapter... I know my niece has a very clear ship with Katsu and a crew member.

So every crew member has an assigned color, such as Luffy is red and Nami is orange. Any ideas on what color Katsu would be?

Any thoughts on the chapter? Also, I've been quite tempted to do a crossover with Katsu in BNHA... I really want to do it, but I figured I would ask and see what you all thought first? It would definitively include Katsu assigning a bunch of nicknames to the characters...

This is not edited.
