Chapter 51: I call Number Two!
I don't own One Piece
Here's Katsu's Outfit
.................................................
The sea breeze surrounded me, loosening strands of my braided hair. Arisu had finally docked the ship, and we were just leaving the docks. My attention quickly went up towards the endless skies and large floating bubbles.
Two years had gone by fast.
"Katsu, we gotta go by the museum first to check on the art-" Arisu paused, looking at me with narrowed eyes. "You little shit. You're not wearing that to the museum are you?"
I blinked, looking down at my clothes. Sure, it wasn't much. A blue poncho with red and white triangles decorating the edges, I wore a black sports bra underneath of course. As well as white shorts that stop just before mid thigh, my black belt resting at my hips and holding my weapons.
Already knowing the woman's issue with my dressed down outfit, I grinned. "Ah, yeah. I figured why not show off my beautiful body." I stuck out my tongue and winked playfully. I would change just before the unveiling anyway. We were only going to check and make sure the art got here safely.
The woman groaned, "Sometimes I wish I never encouraged that behavior."
"Mamoru wouldn't have been happy," I nodded, dodging a fist send my way. "Now then, where is this art museum?"
With a few grumbled complaints, she tugged me along my my wrist. Arisu's clothes were more elegant, going with a simple black dress that stopped at the ground. Her hair, now dyed a blue-green, was styled into a side braid, and the right half was shaved with some intricate designs shaved into it.
"Kenji, watch the ship!" Arisu demanded.
"Yes! Arisu-sama!" I glanced behind me to wave with a free hand. "Bye Katsu! Be safe!"
"Bye Kenji!" I smiled as his waving figure slowly disappeared as I was dragged into town.
..................................
After we looked over the art and made sure it had made it safely Arisu had left me at the bar Rayleigh and his wife, Shakky, own. By now it didn't surprise me how easy it was for the woman to find everything, her navigation skills were as good as Mamoru's. She had been both shocked and apparently angry that I couldn't even find her house without any help after two weeks of staying with her. Kenji helped me fix up the town while I was there with arrows, much like Ace had done for me before.
After making sure I made it to the bar with no problems, Arisu refused to enter. Apparently she couldn't stand to even look at Rayleigh without wanting to pummel his face. Instead she promised to pick me up in two days for the art show.
Apparently she didn't trust me to make it to the museum.
Swinging open the door, a smile grew on my face as I stepped into the bar. Only three people were present. All three which I recognized.
Rayleigh, though his back was turned form me, stood behind the bar. He hadn't changed a bit. Beside him stood his wonderful wife, Shakky. I had the pleasure of meeting her on one occasion when I was younger. She instantly insisted I call her Auntie, which I did so without any problem. Even then her black hair was cut as short as it is now, and she still had her love for cigarettes which I now realize I used to detest due to the smell. I suppose that is one perk of losing my sense of smell.
Then there was the figure sitting at the bar. A bottle of sake in front of him and his three swords resting against the wall. Already I could spot the change, he has more muscle, and his outfit was all green and looked more like a green robe.
Letting the door shut behind me, Shakky was the first to look up at me. A large smile lit up her face, and she took a moment to look me over.
"Nice to see you well," She greeted, her cigarette resting between two fingers.
Hearing his wife, Rayleigh turned around to acknowledge me. He blinked, adjusting his glasses, then smiled as well. "Well I'll be damned, you've surely grown during those two years."
A giggle escaped me as I smiled at Rayleigh. "Yeah, I grew three inches!" I placed a hand on top of my head for emphasis. "I bet I'm taller than Nami now!"
My voice made the green haired swordsman perk up and turn around to look at me. When I looked at him I paused. For a good minute we stared at each other, though his attention was drawn to my shoulder.
"Katsu, I see you got a tattoo." He grinned in greeting.
I nodded, "Ah, Zoro." I blinked, pointing a finger at him, a smirk drawing on my face. "You got hot."
He blinked in surprise, and I was sure I noticed a tinge of pink on his cheeks. "Eh?!"
A grin pulled at my lips as I walked over to him and tilted my head. Then I reached over and grabbed his bicep, which my hand couldn't even wrap around only barely making it half way. My eyes widened as I looked back at Zoro, who quickly pushed me away as pink overtook his face.
"Holy Shit Zoro!" I exclaimed, "Those are some serious muscles! I bet you could lift the whole sunny and then some!"
"When the hell did she get so voice full about that stuff?" Shakky whispered to Rayleigh, who was blinking at Zoro and I.
Zoro meanwhile was too busy blinking at me in shock.
I waited a minute, then my grin settled into a small smile as I took a step back. "So, you only got one eye now, huh, Mr. Hottie?"
"Tch, don't call me that!" Zoro yelled, "Did someone put you up to this?"
I snorted, rolling my eyes. "Nah, I'm just more open. Arisu taught me to be voice full when I see something beautiful, she also taught me how to recognize beautiful things."
That's partly true. Arisu helped my self esteem, and she also taught me the sacred art of flirting. Though I'm not the best at it, I've found being blunt is my best power. I hadn't planned to hit Zoro with that, but it just so happened that he got super hot.
"Arisu?" Rayleigh asked, blinking his eyes.
I nodded, "Ah, Mamoru's sister! She trained me!"
Rayleigh paled, his eyes widening. "She's still alive?!"
I nodded again, taking a seat next to Zoro, who was still staring at the spot I had been standing in. "Yeah, she's actually a well known artist. I'm surprised Mamoru didn't tell me earlier."
Shakky laughed, "I remember this! Mamoru is deathly terrified of his older sister." Then she jerked her thumb at her husband. "He's still a bit scared of her as well. I suspect from stories Mamoru told him."
"And experience." Rayleigh muttered, turning around to grab supplies. "Well, I gotta go. I still have to complete coating your ship."
"Eh?" I frowned, "You had two whole years to do that and you haven't finished?"
"I was busy training Luffy." Rayleigh answered, then quickly left the bar before I could question him further.
Now that was some news. Rayleigh training Luffy. No doubt my Captain is an actual monster now. A smirk grew on my face when I pictured Luffy with a ton of muscles similar to Zoro. Now I can't wait to see him.
Turning to Zoro, I rose an eyebrow. "Ah, Zoro, who else is here?"
Shaking his head, Zoro cleared his thoughts then looked at me. "Actually, you're the second person here. I got here about two hours ago."
I blinked, my mouth dropping. "Wait, what?"
"Yeah, you're the second to make it. I was the first." He smiled, one that I instantly mirrored.
An idea quickly sprouted in my head. Especially since it was Zoro and I that managed to beat everyone. Who would have thought we, the direction challenged people, would make it first?
"Hey," Zoro rose an eyebrow at me, "What if we called everyone by the number that they arrive?"
A big grin formed on the swordsman's face. "That sounds like a great idea. I'm one."
I threw my arms in the air with a big grin on my face. "Then I call number two!"
Looking towards Shakky I quickly straightened up my posture. "Can I have some oranges?"
The woman laughed, "You're still obsessed with them I see." I nodded, and she continued. "Navel oranges, right?" I nodded again, my eyes lighting up when she placed some down in front of me.
......................................................
Zoro and I had spent the night on the Sunny. Both of us agreeing that we should watch over the ship until the crew arrives. It had come to a surprise that the flying fish riders and Kuma had been protecting the ship, which I was thankful for. Though Zoro wasn't completely happy with seeing Kuma, I wasn't sure why.
Neither of us actually slept in our rooms. Instead we opted for staying on the deck and keeping watch. I managed to stay awake longer than Zoro, though I suppose I can blame Arisu for my weird and random sleep schedule now.
However, I was woken extremely early when I heard footsteps approaching the ship. Sitting up, I rubbed my eyes and stood up. My attention snapped to Zoro, who had standing up as well. Apparently he had noticed the new person as well.
We both came to a stop at the railing. Then a big smile lit up my face when I saw the large cyborg. Jumping down from the ship, I landed in front of the tall man.
"Franky!" I greeted, making him pause to look at me, lifting his sunglasses.
Though Franky had always been tall, he definitely towered over me, it made me think the man had grown an extra foot! Everything about him was bigger now. Even his arms, which contain the famous stars on his blue boxy wrists and his shoulders which were giant red orbs.
A grin pulled at him lips. "Ow! Katsu! It's super nice to see you again!"
"How did you get so much taller!" I demanded, pointing a finger at him. "I demand your secret!"
He laughed, but didn't answer my question. Instead, he looked towards Zoro. His grin stayed as wide as he nodded to the swordsman. "Zoro!"
Zoro smirked, raising a hand in greeting. "Hey, number three." I had been so excited to see Franky I had forgotten to call him that!
Franky blinked, "Eh? Three?"
I smiled, "Number One," I pointed to Zoro. "Number Two," I pointed to myself, then pointed to him. "Number Three."
At first he blinked in confusion, then he started laughing. "Who would have thought you two would make it here first?!"
I frowned, did he just insult us?

End of Chapter 51!
So Katsu's been reunited with Zoro and Franky! How do you feel about her interaction with Zoro? I kinda like her newly found confidence.
So heads up on upcoming chapters. I'll post another chapter for sure, and maybe I can squeeze in another. However, not this weekend (the 22 and 23) but the following two weekends I won't be able to update.
