The Warlord had left after ensuring one of the two pirates had completed their end of the bargain. In the end, Zoro took the punishment, much to Makoto's displeasure.

After ensuring the Warlord had really left, Makoto frowned looking at Zoro's bloody condition. The blue haired pirate was surprised when he came back to find the swordsman still standing with his arms crossed. Though he didn't say anything to the first mate, rather he turned and went to find a straw hat.

Approaching the castle, Makoto paused at the ring of his den den mushi. Digging out the snail, Makoto answered. "Yo."

"Makoto!" Sato's voice answered, "I got some news, but first..." His voice grew quiet before he cleared his throat. "Is that... Mitsu?"

A grin pulled on the pirate's lips. "No doubt. Though, everyone is calling her 'Katsu'. Apparently she lost her memories."

A breath left the snail, then a small smile formed on the snail's face. "At least we finally found her."

"Kuma left too, all Straw Hats still remain." Makoto added, "However he did leave me a warning."

The snail blinked, the smile dropping. "Warning?"

The blue haired pirate hummed, "Mitsu's considered government property now, and they have her face because of Moria. Which means they'll be releasing a decently high bounty soon. It's her first bounty though, so I don't think it will be over a hundred million."

"Okay, so?" Sato asked, an eyebrow raising on the snail.

"That's not so much a problem, but it means she'll be recognized quickly." Makoto explained, "And their destination is fishman island."

Realization struck the snail's face. "They have to go through Sabaody Archipelago, which is loaded with high ranking marines."

"Mhm," Makoto nodded, "Kuma's heading there as well now. He said if she's seen there he won't be able to let her go like this time. They'll have to fight and hope to win."

"You think they're strong enough?" Sato asked.

At the question, Makoto looking through the open door. The Straw Hats occupied the room, each crew member injured. Though only one remained unconscious, the Artist. However, even with them being injured, Makoto still could feel a easy going atmosphere. It made it easier for him to see why his little sister chose this crew. Even beaten they shared smiles and laughs.

"They're strong. But I'm not completely positive about them being able to win a serious fight there." Makoto answered.

The snail closed its eyes in thought.

"Kuma did hint he could possibly find a way for the Straw Hats to escape. But Mitsu would have to be captured alive." Makoto added.

The snail's eyes snapped open, "Then bring her."

The blue haired pirate blinked, "Huh?"

"She's lost her memories, maybe we can bring them back?" Sato offered, "And we can meet the Straw Hats at Fishman island, avoiding that mess."

Makoto nodded, "If she'll agree then I will. Now, what news did you have?"

Immediately the snail's eyes narrowed. "Ah, we're gonna help the Whitebeard pirates. Marco just informed me Ace has been captured."

...........................................

Chopper had finished wrapping Katsu's wounds, though the girl has yet to wake up. While her injuries were serous, it was strange seeing the artist asleep. Laughter made the reindeer's ears twitch as he looked behind him.

His Captain, Luffy, who had sustained the most injuries was somehow up and completely healed. Not even Katsu healed that fast.

"Hey!" Luffy shouted, pointing to the new comer that had just walked in. "Who're you?"

The male pirate blinked. His blue hair was once again pulled back by his black bandana, and his chest was exposed as his white shirt had become unbuttoned. His sleeves to his white shit were rolled back to his elbows. Around his waist sat a red belt, which held two guns.

"Me?" He asked, looking around. Looking back at Luffy he held up a hand. "Yo, I'm Makoto."

"Eh?" Luffy shoved a pinky up his nose. "Why're you here?"

Nami shot a glare at her Captain. "He helped us, Luffy!"

"Huh?" This time Luffy blinked, a frown on his face. "Why?"

This time Makoto answered. "My sister is on your crew."

Immediately Luffy's eyes grew big then looked at Nami. "You have a brother too?!"

"No you idiot!" Nami snapped.

Luffy tilted his head in confusion, looking at Robin. "Eh, you have a brother?"

"Actually Mitsu is my sister." Makoto jumped in, walking closer to the red head. "I think you guys are calling her Katsu?"

The confused look on the captain fell into a frown as he stared at the blue haired teen. "How do we know you're not lying? Katsu can't remember anything, so we knows if she has a brother. And you look nothing like her!"

Before Makoto could respond, Luffy crossed his arms and his eyes narrowed. "What's her favorite food?"

While his crew blinked at him, Makoto couldn't stop the smile from forming on his face. "If it's the same as when we were younger, it would be oranges."

"Hmm," Luffy muttered, "What does she do best?"

This made Makoto blink, "huh, well..." He paused to think. "She did a lot of things. But I guess something that she did best when we were kids was draw. She also liked to beat up the other kids, she was really good at that too. She was also a really good swimmer, she loved to swim..."

After staring a moment longer, Luffy grinned. "Okay, I believe you."

"That was fast!" Makoto laughed.

"You're too trusting!" Usopp and Nami growled.

"Ah, you guys might want to help Zoro." Makoto muttered, sitting down next to the sleeping Straw Hat. "He said only Sanji though."

Ignoring the questions, Makoto looked down at Katsu. A small smile formed on his face. The weight that had burdened him for years lifted. Mitsu was alive, she was okay. He wasn't going to risk losing her again. Though now he had to deal with the crew, as his sister was unconscious and he needed approval from her captain at least. He was sure Luffy would be easy to convince, as long as the rest of the crew didn't say much.

First he eyed the doctor, a small racoon dog, who was rechecking the bandages on the artist. The small creature didn't seem like much of a threat. Makoto figured he wouldn't need to worry much about him.

Next Makoto looked towards the orange haired female. From what he had seen, she was definitely loud and wasn't afraid to voice her opinion. If she opposed Mitsu leaving Makoto was positive she would express it loudly.

The long nosed man left Makoto shrugging. He didn't  appear as one Makoto should worry about. Though, the teen did feel familiar for some reason.

Then there was the tall blue haired man and ebony haired woman. Both had been quiet since Makoto walked in. Both standing off to the side, their eyes on Mitsu. Though the two had yet to speak, Makoto was sure those two would strongly oppose his sister leaving. His thought were confirmed with the suspicious glances he received from both of them.

Luffy, the crews Captain. At first glance Makoto realized a few things. This teen is strong. He was definitely that kid that Shanks brings up all the time, the Straw Hat confirming it. Luffy, simply put, was an idiot. Makoto knew the male wasn't the brightest, but he was sure the Captain would put up a fight over his crew mate.

"Straw Hat." Makoto said, silence growing over the crew as the grinning Captain looked up at Makoto. "I have a few concerns involving Mitsu." Seeing the confused face, Makoto shook his head. "Katsu."

Makoto saw the crew tense, looking from him to their Captain, who's face went blank.

"I've got reason to believe that the next island you're heading for would be too dangerous for Mit- Katsu." Makoto explained, "Your crew will survive, but it's not likely my sister will leave that island with your crew."

"What are you saying?" The orange haired female demanded, glaring at Makoto.

"Currently, you won't be able to handle Sabaody Archipelago. And my sister, Katsu, is apparently considered government property." Makoto answered, "Unforatnatly, you don't have the strength to protect yourself and her-"

"We'll get stronger." Luffy interrupted. "And Katsu can protect herself fine."

Makoto sighed, "You don't have enough time for that, and I'm sure she can protect herself but even her strength might not be enough. That island is a marine base, filled with Admirals and Vice Admirals. A week of sailing won't be enough time."

"Then we'll do some SUPER training!" The blue haired man exclaimed.

"What are you proposing?" The ebony haired woman asked.

Makoto looked to her. "I take Katsu with me. I'll drop her off at your next destination, Fishman Island."

"NO!" Luffy yelled, "She's my artist, and she's going to draw all our adventures!"

The teen blinked at the word 'artist', a small smile tugging at his lips. Shaking away the memory he tried to reason. "Look, maybe I can help her regain some memories."

"No." Luffy crossed his arms glaring at Makoto. "I'll help her regain her memories, but she isn't leaving our crew. She's our nakama."

"Your whole crew is so stubborn..." Makoto sighed, "Fine, but I'll have to meet you all there then. Just to make sure she's in good hands."

Luffy appeared to think it over before shrugging. "Eh, okay."

With the argument settles, the Straw Hats resumed their actions. Though, this time the two silent ones walked to join Makoto beside their artist.

"Yo," Makoto greeted, offering a small smile. "Sorry about that, I'm just concerned about my sister."

The woman smiled, "I understand, I'm Robin by the way."

Makoto snapped his fingers. "That's why you looked familiar! Nico Robin, right?"

With a small smile, Robin nodded calmly. Beside her stood the tall blue haired man with a metal nose. His arms, which looked bloated, each contained a blue star on them.

"Yosh!" He exclaimed, "I'm Franky!"

Grinning at Franky, Makoto nodded. "Nice to meet you."

"So what do you know about Katsu?" Robin mused, resting her chin on her hand.

"Well we grew up together," Makoto chuckled, a sad look in his eyes. "Well at least until we were separated anyway. Before then we were raised on this island that hated pirates, funny that her mom chose to stay on that island. She was..." Makoto thought for a moment, a small smile on his lips. "She was quite the character growing up. Always sticking up for Sato and I. Always getting into fights with the other kids, they were the bullies just to clear things up. And when Shanks would drop by she was always too excited to stay on land, which always resulted in her swimming to the ship."

"Shanks?" Luffy's ear twitched as he looked towards Makoto.

"Yeah, he's Mi-Katsu's uncle." Makoto said.

The Straw Hat navigator narrowed her eyes, as did Robin. "Earlier you talked about Katsu's mom as if she wasn't yours." Robin muttered.

"Now you're saying Katsu's Uncle." Nami added, "What gives? Didn't you say you two were siblings?"

Not seeming concerned with the threatening pirates, Makoto nodded with a grin. "Yeah, Mitsu is my little sister."

"But you don't share the same uncle or mother?" Robin asked, her arms forming an X over her chest.

The blue haired pirate blinked then waved his hands. "Oh! Wait! Let me clarify, we're not related by blood. Mitsu- Katsu's mom kinda adopted me in a way of saying after my grandparents passed. She took care of me along with Katsu and Sato."

"So you know Shanks!" Luffy grinned, running over to Makoto. "Isn't he great?"

"Is that all you caught?!" The crew yelled.

"Ah, he isn't too bad." Makoto grinned, "I'm assuming you're that one kid, Luffy, that him and Sato always talk about."

Luffy blinked, "Sato? Wait you know him too?"

Makoto paused, sighing, "Well yeah, he's kinda Mitsu's twin."

While the crew blinked in shock, the Captain pulled a blank face. "A mystery twin." He nodded to himself.

"Huh? Wait-!" Another sigh, "I mean Katsu's twin."

Luffy blinked, then looked down at the artist. Stars formed in his eyes. "Oh! I have Sato's twin in my crew! Why didn't she tell me?!"

"Idiot!" Nami slapped the back of Luffy's head. "She dosen't have her memories, remember?!"

A childish pout formed on his face, "So..."

Smiling at the Captain, Makoto looked at the straw hat sitting on Luffy's head. "It's good to see you're taking care of the hat. Shanks treasured it. I think the only one he ever let wear the hat was Mitsu, even though he denies it she was always his favorite."

"Shishishi," Luffy grinned, "This hat is my treasure!"

......................................................

Sanji had returned with a bloodied and nearly dead Zoro, much to the crew's horror. Though Makoto played stupid, having already known the swordsman's demands.

It was when the feast started did Makoto excuse himself. Mitsu had yet to wake up, and sitting beside her wouldn't speed up her recovery. Currently, he needed to contact Sato, who likely wasn't going to be happy with the news.

"Makoto?" The snail rose an eyebrow. "Didn't we just finish talking?"

Rolling his eyes, Makoto leaned against the stone building. "Ah, but there's a few things. The Straw Hats don't like me taking one of their crew. So, we've agreed to meet up at Sabaody Archipelago."

For a moment, silence answered the pirate. Makoto blinked at the snail, who stared at him with narrowed eyes. Then, a quiet sigh. "I guess it'll have to do." Sato responded, the snail closing its eyes. "We can't just take her by force from the crew. Especially since we'll want to ally with them."

Makoto looked up from the snail and towards the celebrating pirates. The Straw Hats were throwing a party with the other pirates who finally regained their shadows. Though one pink-haired female had gained Makoto's attention. If the Straw Hats weren't careful, they could have a emperor after them.

Though the thought made Makoto snort. With Mitsu on the Straw Hat crew, he knew two other emperors who would gladly step in if a threat occurred.

"Sato," Makoto said, starting to walk back towards the pirates. "I need to give the crew some directions. Then I'll leave, I'll need your coordinates. Also," He glanced at the loud cheers once more. "See the relationship of Lola, Big Mom's kid."

...............................................

"You're leaving?" Robin asked, her chin resting on her hand. "Don't you at least want to wait until Katsu wakes up?"

Hearing the new name made Makoto wince and glance at the sleeping girl. According to Chopper, her ribs were nearly healed, something Makoto found came from being experimented on.

"Katsu..." he muttered, looking at the girl, whom he remembered under a different name. "She likely doesn't remember me."

The crew, with the exception of one, could hear the pain laced in the pirate's voice. His cheek clenched as he let out a long sigh, his eyes going towards his hands.

"No, she dosenen't remember anything," Luffy said, frowning at Makoto. "Are you stupid? Did you already forget?"

In an instant, Nami had slapped Luffy in the back of his head. "Idiot!" When Luffy voiced his complaint, she turned to look at Makoto. "She might not remember you now, but we've noticed certain things trigger memories."

Recovering from Nami's assault, Luffy grinned and patting his hat. "Yeah! Yeah! My hat made her remember Shanks!"

"Uncle?" Makoto muttered, glancing towards the childish Captain.

"It's likely seeing you will help her remember!" Chopper smiled, "It would be good for her to have her memories back!"

The thought made Makoto pause. "Would it?" His voice hardly audible, only those close to him hearing it.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Franky frowned, "Of course it'd be super for her to remember!"

"Somethings, yeah." Makoto muttered, picking up his bag. "But other things... The might be too painful to remember. I know. Sometimes I wish for amnesia." A humorless laugh came out as a sigh.

The crew went silent. Sanji took a drag and released a puff of smoke. "That's Katsu's decision. Either way, she'll still be the same Katsu on our crew. She'll still be our artist."

"Yeah!" Luffy grinned, "And if they really are so bad, we'll replace them with plenty good ones! They won't hurt her!"

"Yeah!" Chopper and Usopp cheered.

"Don't worry, Silent Bullet-san." Robin smiled, "Katsu's quite strong. She can handle the past."

"And if she can't, that's why we're here!" Franky grinned.

Looking over the crew, Makoto found it hard not to smile. His shoulders relaxed and a warmth spread through his stomach. His little sister had found a good pirate crew. Reaching his hands towards his hair, he grabbed a tied lock and cut it off with the knife in his hand. Walking up to the childish captain, he held his hand out, offering three objects. A blank piece of paper, a lock of blue hair, and another piece of paper with some numbers.

Scrunching up his face, Luffy took the objects. "Eh, what's this?"

A boyish smirk played on Makoto's lips. "Sato's vivre card, it's half of what he gave me. In case you need to find him you can use that. The numbers are for my transponder snail. Call me when you reach Sabaody Archipelag and give me your coordinates."

"The hair?" Luffy asked, his nose wrinkling.

"Ah," Makoto grinned, "So I can teleport to you."

"Teleport?" The crew blinked.

He chuckled sheepishly, "I ate a devil fruit by accident." He explained, "But in order to teleport I need to have something of mine there, and the coordinates. The only time that isn't needed is if it's in sight, though that only works half the time... Anyway, I gave you some of my hair so I can teleport to you guys."

"Oh," Luffy nodded his head slowly. "Mystery hair."

The blue haired pirate blinked at the captain, his crew sighing. The orange haired female took the hair and number out of Luffy's hand. Makoto remembered her to be the crew's navigator.

When she went to take the vivre card, Luffy stretched his arm out of her reach. A frown pulled at his lips as he looked at Nami.

"Luffy?" Nami blinked.

"This is mine." He said.

"Luffy," Nami sighed, shaking her head. "Don't lose it. It's Katsu's brother's vivre card.-"

"I won't." He gave a stern nod, his arm returning to his side.

A genuine smile crossed Makoto's lips. Luffy had been very fond of Sato as a child. It appears his fondness had not faded. Turning to the navigator, Makoto nodded his head.

"I'll leave you in charge of contacting me then." Glancing at Luffy, Makoto smiled again. "Technically, that care is for Mit- Katsu. Though I guess you can hold onto it until she remembers us."

"I'll split it." Luffy nodded, gaining a laugh from Makoto.

"I guess that'll do." Turning away from the crew, Makoto rested his hands behind his head. "I'll be leaving then. You guys take care of my sister." He paused, glancing behind them to make eye contact with Luffy. "Also, don't bring Sato or I up. She doesn't remember us yet, and I wanna surprise her." With a grin, he raised a hand. "Jaa ne."

With a soft pop, the pirate was gone.
