Chapter 16: To The Land Of Waves Part 6

Chapter 16:
Yakunan's POV

We were a few meters outside of Gato's hideout. I had already summoned Pure and Crimson. They were both ready and armed with weapons.

'Do you know the plan?' I signed to them. They nodded. 'Go in.' I signed and they rushed in the building.

Pure threw senbon needles at the men guarding the door, causing them to fall unconscious. Crimson gabbed at bodies, instantly killing them. The men rushed around, trying to fight back against the new force, but had no avail. Crimson and Pure are the ultimate team up. You'd probably need someone of at least ANBU level to disperse them. Since, of course, they cannot be killed once they only go back inside of me and regain their energy. The only set back is that the caster -- me -- loses a bunch of chakra, but that's only if you're not accustomed to summoning them so often. I can summon one of them and only lose about 5-10% of ny chakra. If I had not been accustomed to it, then it would've been about 30-45%.

I snuck around the side while Crimson and Pure were fighting and went to the hole I made when I left the hide out just days prior. On the side I found a patch of tarp covering the gaping hole, that looked like it was in the process of fixing up. I smirked and applied chakra into my hand and swiped down against the cloth, cutting it open and making a hole big enough for me to fix through. I went into the cell and saw the bars were still broken, just as left it.

I pushed the door, seeing if it was unlocked and, as I expected, it was. I smiled and went down the hallway, suppressing my chakra completely. I stalked down the hallway, and looked for the scent for my scarf. Every now and then, someone would go running down the hall in the direction of Crimson and Pure, while scaring me in the process, and making me jump up to the ceiling and using my chakra to stay there for a few minutes before coming down and heading down the hallway again.

After twisting and turning down a few halls, I finally found the room where my scarf was held. I pulled out my kunai as weapons and got ready to fight anyone in the room. I sniffed the door, checking if anyone was in there first. After confirming that nobody was there, I pushed the door open.

Inside the room, I found a bunch of boxes and other things. Among the random stuff were things like katanas, chakra blades etc. It was kind of like a lost and found room. I scanned the room looking for any red article of clothing before finally something caught my eye. On the top shelf was a box with a red scarf hanging out of it. My red scarf hanging out of it. The only problem was that it was too tall for me to reach. Even if I jumped with chakra, I probably wouldn't be able to reach it. I looked at the walls, maybe if I climbed up the wall I'd be able to reach my scarf.

I walked over to the wall and climbed up the side, putting chakra into my hands and feet. I climbed up the wall like a spider and climbed up the wall to the roof. I crawled on the roof with my hands and feet. My red hair dangled beneath me, waving slightly with every movement. I was a few feet away from my desired box when the door swung open. I froze as two large looking men walked through the door.

"Why are we here again?" The first one asked.

"I lost my katana a while ago and I need to find it. 'Specially with those crazy chicks at the front killin' e'ry one." The other replied. The first one looked around the room.

"Are you sure its in here? It could be anywhere for all we know," He said.

"Yeah, but this is the only lost 'n' found room in the whole place. Our best guess is dis room." The second one said, rummaging through the stuff. I slowly made my way to the edge of the wall, biting my lip to keep me from making any unnecessary sounds, the whole time not taking my eyes off the two men. The guys continued their conversation about other useless thing.

As I made my way, a kunai on one of the boxes was sticking out and when I turned my head to look at the wall, a part of my side bangs got cut from the loose kunai. I cursed to myself silently as my hair fell helplessly to the ground and soundlessly fell to the ground. I looked at the two men, to check I they noticed. Surprisingly, they hadn't and I was safe to keep going for my scarf.

I silently crawled to my scarf and reached for it when it was  in arms reach. I stretched as hard as I could, without making a sound. My fingers finally grasped the cloth and I took it to myself, and hugged it to my chest.

"What's dis?" One of the men said. My eyes widened as I turned around to see one of the men pick up a strand of my hair. His friend was standing beside him, both their backs to me. "Where did dis come from?" He turned to the other one who shrugged. To much of my displeasure, the man with my hair looked up at the ceiling thoughtfully, not where I was but awfully close. "Was dis here before?" He asked. The other one turned around to look at the other one square in the face.

"C'mon, we're already really late to the front where the crazy ladies are fighting! We don't have time to--" he cut himself off and locked eyes with me. "What's that? What are you doing here??" The man asked and pulled out a weapon.

'Pure, lets go. Now.' I called to her with my mind link.

'Okay, give me a few minutes...' She replied.

I eyed the angry man carefully. His friend now was looking at me, angrily. 'I don't have a few minutes!' I told her as i jumped to the floor.

'Sorry, but that's all I can give you right now!' She called back. I scowled and looked at the men, who was now calling for back up. I narrowed my eyes and threw a kunai at him, slitting a major artery in his throat. The man curled blood and dropped to the ground. All color was lost in his face as he died. The other turned to me and pulled a katana out of his on his back an glared. I pressed my ears back against my head and glared back as I safely tied my scarf around my neck.

The man charged at me, clashing his katana against my kunais. He gabbed at my side, but I dodged it and threw a kunai aiming for his heart, at lightning speed. He didn't have time to deflect, and got stabbed. His eyes widened in shock as he coughed up blood. I smirked and walked away as his body fell limp.

I zoomed down the hallway, retracing my steps until I was blocked by a large group of men. I gasped slightly and turned around to run, only to be blocked by another hoard of men. I narrowed my eyes and scanned for any possible way outs or dangers. The group of men in front of me parts to reveal a tiny man that I saw the other day.

"Well, well, well. Looks like my little doggie came back?" The pipsqueak said. I looked down at him and glared heatedly.  "Now, no need to make that face, doggie. All we wanna do is play, correct?" I said nothing, but a deep growl was rising in my chest. "Let's get the doggie back on its chains, shall we?" With snap of his fingers, chains were thrown at me, that I dodged. While I was in the air a net was thrown at me, giving me no time to successfully, dodge it, as my body was hit roughly with the net and the tons on the edges held me down, slamming me to the floor. It was too heavy for me to lift it up, too.  The goons began to chain me to the ground as I snarled at them, angrily. "Can't the doggie learn to play nice?" Gato said in a taunting tone. I growled again.

'Yakunan, what's wrong? I can't get you teleported over here? Please don't tell me you were taken??' She said anxiously.

I sighed. 'Sorry Pure, but it's fine. I'll get a way out, just give me some time.' I said. Pure gasped and left for a while, probably explaining the news to Crimson.

I looked at Gato who was grinning at me. "The doggie isn't so fierce now, is it?" He asked. "Now, since doggie ran away, we are going to have to punish it. I'm pretty sure a man was asking for you earlier... Hmm.... What's his name... Orochimaru, was it?" My eyes widened and trembled at the name. "Oh, it was Orochimaru!" He confirmed. I didn't listen because I was trying to work my way out of the chains and net. I struggled and moved, but made no progress. The man next to it smirked. "Poor doggie, you think you have a chance of getting out of this one. Here lemme make it more painful for you." He said, while kicking my side through one of the hole. He motioned for the man next to him. A goon crouched down and touched the net, he hand was sparking. When his hand made contact, a jolt of high voltage electricity was channeled through the net, electrifying me. I bit my lip in pain until it bled, and the man smirked, evilly, adding more electricity to the wires. When the man stopped, the chains were smoking from the electricity. If I were anyone else, I would probably die from it.

I was breathing heavily and Gato looked down at me, grinning sinisterly. He took his cane and hit me in the face, bruising my cheek. He crouched down to my level and looked me dead in the eye. "I'm gonna have some fun with you," Hs said. He hit my head with the butt of the cane multiple times. After the 8th time or so, I heard a disoriented sound of a dog barking and growling. Gato cursed and slammed his cane on my head, knocking me out.

I was in front of Pure and Crimson. They both looked very mad.

"I TRIED TO TELL YOU!" Tainted screamed, lashing against the arms that held her back, which was Crimson. "I told you that you were being reckless. I told you that you had no plan, but NOO! DON'T LISTEN TO ME! IT'S NOT LIKE I'M RIGHT!!!" Tainted ranted on and on. I sighed and turned to Crimson, who was standing behind her, looking kind of pissed.

"You just had to be unconscious, huh?" Crimson said. I rolled my eyes. "You are one lucky brat, you know that."

"How am I lucky? I got captured by Gato, twice." I grumbled.

"No you're lucky," she replied. "Right after you went unconscious, there was a big group of dogs that rushed in. They claimed that they were from Kakashi and were there to take you back. Gato already had his fun 'punishing' you, and practically left you there to die. You were in bad shape, but nothing that Pure couldn't fix. Anyways, the dogs dragged you back to the old guy's house. I told the dogs that we had to go since we used up a bit of chakra fighting those guys at the front. That was fun, by the way, we should do that more often." I laughed a bit and nodded. Mass murders are always fun to do, huh? "Anyway, getting back on topic, once we got to the house, Pure started to heal you, up and that took about 10 minutes or so. Kakashi looked pretty mad that you left, but on the bright side, you got your scarf back so, yay!" She grinned.  I rolled my eyes.

"Thanks guys, for helping me. Sorry that I was being a jerk earlier." I apologized.

"Nah, its fine. We know how much that scarf means to you. You should be going back to your team now, they are a bit worried..." She said. I smiled and got up. Before I left I turned to Pure.

"I'm sorry Pure. I shouldn't have rushed into things think that? I could have gotten killed, your right." I said, looking at my feet.

Pure sighed. "It's fine, whatever. Just don't do anything like that again!" Tainted finished, giving me chills. I nodded and turned to Crimson.

"You need to go now, I'm pretty sure your team will be worried if you don't wake up." Crimson said.

"Okay, bye guys," I said and closed my eyes, leaving Crimson and Pure alone.
