Chapter 11:

Yakunan's POV

Darkness.

That was all I could see for what felt like forever. I saw a light in the distance, but I couldn't run to it for some reason.

"...n... Yakunan... Yakunan... Yakunan... Up... Ya...an..." A voice called out, ranging from loud and then quiet. "YAKUNAN!!!" It screamed and I snapped my eyes open. I jumped back and took out a kunai defensively. The only person in the room was Kakashi, and he looked at me relieved. We were in the living room, and he was next to the couch that I was just on. "Thank goodness that you're up! You scared me for a second there." He said, sighing with relief.

I put the kunai away. 'What happened? What did I do?' I asked Kakashi, obviously confused.

"You had a bad panic attack and then fainted. I was just about to bring you to a hospital, but you woke up. Are you okay?" He asked me, worryingly. Memories from.moments earlier flooded into my mind. I gasped and got wide eyed. Land of waves? We're going to the Land Of Waves?? That's where he is! What if he gets me again? What if he brings me to... No, not again, please. I shook my head and sat on the floor, putting my head in between my legs to help me breath easier. Kakashi got up and put a hand on my back, soothingly, while speaking soft words to me.

After a few minutes, I calmed down. "What's going on, Yakunan? Why do you keep having panic attacks?" Kakashi asked. "Maybe we shouldn't take the mission." I shook my head, no. Naruto was so happy to go on this mission! I can't let him down now. I took a deep breath. I need to get over it, I have to get over it. He is weak, and won't be able to get me. Plus Kakashi will be there, so I'll be fine. Right?

"Are you sure?" He asked, again. I nodded and began to stand up. "Fine, but don't overdo yourself. You need to explain what happened later, right now, we're kind of late for a mission." I smiled softly and nodded and we made our way to the gates.

(Still Yakunan's POV)

I saw Naruto, the bridge builder - who's name is Tazuna -, Sakura, and Sasuke at the village gates.

"WHAT'S TAKING THEM SO LONG, BELIEVE IT!" Naruto complained. Suddenly, Kakashi and I came into view, Kakashi waving and I keeping my eyes at the ground.

"YOU'RE LATE!!" Sakura and Naruto cried at the same time, each with irk marks on their heads. Sasuke 'hn'd agreeing.

Kakashi sweat dropped. "Sorry, another black cat crossed my path, so I had to-"

"LIAR!!" They said in sync again. Kakashi sweat dropped again.

"Anyways," he turned to me. "I guess since we are going out of the village, you have to take those out, huh." Kakashi said, probably smirking underneath his mask. I narrowed my eyes and frowned.

'Whatever, will you translate?' I asked and he nodded. 'Do not be alarmed by what I am about to show you. Its part of my Kekkei Genkai, okay?' Kakashi translated and everyone nodded. I took a deep breath and undid my hiding jutsu, showing my big black and white tail and wolf ears to everyone.

Everyone, except Kakashi who was trying not to laugh at everyone's expressions, stood there agape. Then Sakura started talking. "Hmph. I knew you were a freak. Now Sasuke will never like a monster like you." She whispered the last part to herself, but I could hear it. I looked away ashamed and lowered my ears. Sakura really doesn't know when to stop, does she?

'Lemme kill her. Lemme rip her to shreds. Lemme feast on her entrails. Lemme-' Crimson muttered, but Pure cut her off.

'Enough, Crimson,' She commanded. 'We all wanna kill her right now, but it is neither the time nor the place. Wait until we get to Waves, there are a lot of back alleys where nobody would watch...' Tainted finished darkly, giving Crimson and I shivers.

I focused back to the conversation around me. Kakashi was giving Sakura a lecture about insulting my canine traits. Naruto looked at me, sparkly eyed, ready to glomp me at any moment. Sasuke's surprise was gone and replaced with a bored, arrogant look, and he kept glancing over to me. Tazuna, however, looked at me with disgust. I cleared my throat, causing everyone to look at me and walked down the path, signifying that I was ready to leave.

As we were walking down the path, I looked out for enemies, staying on high alert. Watching the slightest leaf movement, tree rustle, and wing flap. Nothing out of the ordinary yet. I sniffed and stiffened for a second. I could smell two new chakra presences following us.

"Everything okay, Yakunan?" Kakashi asked, looking back at me. I nodded, trying not to show my different attitude and kept walking. The new presences, there were two and they were going ahead of us. They stopped, but their scent will help me pinpoint the hiding place. Their scent smelt... Wet. They must've transformed into a puddle or something.

'I'm beginning to believe that all humans are idiots...' Crimson face palmed. 

'I know right! If Kakashi doesn't see this then we're gonna die on this mission. Especially of were going to the land of Waves.' I listened to everything that was going on around me again. We were closing in on the puddle. Once we got there Kakashi eyed the puddle and looked at me. I nodded and looked back.

After walking past the puddle, the two scents rose from it.

'Lets go!' Crimson said, and took control.

The enemies wrapped their chains around Kakashi. Kakashi feigned surprise as they pulled their chains and spilled 'Kakashi' everywhere. "One down, four to go." They said charging for Naruto.

'GO CRIMSON!!' I cried, truly afraid for Naruto.

"Yeah, yeah..." She murmured and pulled out my twin dragon blade. "HA!" She cried, slashing at one of them, but didn't make it in time to keep Naruto from getting a scratch om his hand. Naruto stood back, petrified with fear. "NARUTO MOVE!" Crimson screamed, jumping in front of Naruto, protectively.

'Protect Tazuna!' I informed her.

"Okay, sheesh." She replied as she wove hand signs. "DEMONIC STYLE: ANGELIC KUNAI DOME!" She cried, and placed a dome around Sakura and Tazuna. It was make out of blossoms but were highly poisons, black, and was shaped in a way to be a extremely sharp kunai. Since Crimson wasn't in her own body, this weakened her and took large amounts of chakra. So she panted for a second, and the second one lunged at me, giving her a deep cut on her arm.

I smelt something strange. 'Poison.' I said to her. 'Pure, can you heal this?' I asked.

'Already on it. It may take some time, but I'll be able to heal it soon,' she replied, healing the wounded part with her white chakra.

Crimson grapped the chain used to cut her and yanked it towards her. She collected all her chakra in her fist and punched the enemy in the head, making his face cave in. The impact caused him to go through a few trees before falling on the ground, unconscious. Crimson turned to the other one, that was already in a headlock with Kakashi.

"Good job, Yakunan, Sasuke, and Sakura." He said giving us a closed eye smile. Then he turned to Naruto. "Sorry, Naruto, I didn't mean for you to get hurt. I didn't think you'd freeze up like that." Naruto's face visibly darkened. "Yakunan, take down the barrier." He ordered. Crimson nodded and released the barrier, causing it to sink into the ground.

"Are you okay..." Sasuke said walking up to Naruto, who looked really depressed. "Scaredy Cat?" Crimson growled at the comment and glared at Sasuke.

'Jerk.' She thought coldly and I nodded in agreement.

'Let's switch back.' I said to Crimson. Crimson frowned.

"But I like this body!" She complained out loud. My eyes widened.

'NOT OUT LOUD YOU IDIOT!!' I screamed at her.

'Criiimmmsoonnn,' Tainted sang evilly. 'Do give back her control. Or maybe I'll have to-'

"Okay, okay!" Crimson yelled, fearfully. She gave me control and my eyes turned back to black. I blinked and looked around to everyone. They were staring at me, with confused looks. I did the only thing I could do.

I smiled, canines and all, and waved back. Everyone anime fell.

Kakashi recomposed himself and started to explain how this mission was too high of a rank and that we shouldn't be doing it. Then Naruto stabbed his hand and stuff. I didn't really listen, I just turned to the enemies, much more known as the demon brothers, and glared.

"What do you want, missy?" One asked gruffly.

I bent down to their level. "I wanna know who you're working for." I asked. "Oh, I cam think of so much people already. Lets see, the Mafia, no they're not in Waves. The Killing Regime, no no, they're in lightning. Ah, I got it. Gato." Their eyes went wide.l and I giggled. "So it is Gato. Great, I have just the message for him. Can you give Gato a message for me?" They didn't answer. "Great! Tell Gato this: 'Gato, I hope you remember me, because I sure do. Anyways, Do reconsider attacking my team and I, or it will only result badly for you.' Got that?" Again, nothing. "Good, now my leader is going to deal with you now." I turned to walk away but paused. "Oh wait, it only takes one to deliver a message, huh." I took out a kunai and threw through one of their heart's, successfully killing him. The other one stared at me with fear.

"M-m-m-monster!" He cried.

"Now now, do shut up," I advised, my back to him. "But you are almost right. I'm not a monster, I'm a demon, and you're personal living hell." I gave him a sinister smile, that could put shivers down anyone's back. "Goodbye, for now." With that, I ran off to catch up with my teammates.

*-* Near shore to get to Waves *-*

"Just get in." Kakashi said, exhaustingly, but once again, I shook my head. "Why not??" I pointed to the water. "Seriously, you're acting more like a cat right now than a dog." I growled and bared my fangs.

'I'm a WOLF, Kakashi, get it straight.' I signed angrily.

"Either way, you'll be fine, okay?" He said. "Now just get in the boat."

'NO.' I signed. Kakashi sighed and took out a rope from nowhere. My eyes widened.

"Fine then, you'll get in the boat one way or another," he said, is eye gleaming, menacingly. I sweat dropped.

*-* AFTER TYING YAKUNAN UP *-*

I sat on the side of the boat, my face really green. My eyes widened and I threw up my insides in the water again. The others were talking about the mission, and who they were up against, but I wasn't listening, I threw up my insides again. I lied my head on the side of the boat, lazily.

Kakashi gave me a sympathetic look. "I didn't know you were going to get this sea sick..." He said with a sweat drop. I narrowed my eyes, and threw up again.

"I hate you," I mumbled loud enough for everyone to hear, making them sweat drop too. Eventually, the boat hit the land and I jumped out of it, rubbing my cheek against the land like my life depended on it, and I anime cried. "LAND!!" I cried happily. Everyone sweat dropped again.

Kakashi sighed and grabbed me by the collar. "Remind me to never put you on a boat again..." I laughed and nodded.

"Okay! I expect you to bring me home in one piece!!" Tazuna called to everyone.

'No old man, we were going to cut up your body in pieces and sell them to Gato so we can get a lotta money from this mission!' Crimson said sarcastically, but at the same time very creepily, causing me to laugh.

"Lets go," Kakashi said, walking down the path.

As were we're walking down, Naruto started throwing a kunai at the bushes. My eyes widened for a second. I know that someone has been watching us for sometime, but in the bush?! Gato wouldn't send someone who is that stupid to hide in a bush, right? Maybe he's just underestimating us. Naruto went to go check the bush.

"It was just a mouse." He announced to everyone. I got a irk mark and glared at him.

"Naruto, kunai are dangerous, don't and throw them like that!" Kakashi scolded.

"DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT, DWARF!!" Tazuna yelled, causing me to flinch. I just shook my head and kept on walking, along with Sasuke.

Naruto found the urge to throw a kunai in each and every bush, seeing if there was a enemy there, completely disregarding us.

Suddenly, a bush shook, barely even audible to the average ear, and I turned my ear that may. Naruto threw a kunai at it.

"Didn't we just say to stop!" Sakura yelled, hitting Naruto.

"But there really was something there that time, believe it!" Naruto complained, pointing to the bush. I turned to it and narrowed my eyes, as Naruto went to go see what was wrong with the bush.

When Naruto moved away the leaves it revealed a... Petrified snow white bunny, with a kunai in front of it.

"Look at what you did, Naruto!!" Sakura scolded, hitting Naruto once more.

"I'M SORRY, MR. BUNNY!!" Naruto cried, rubbing the poor bunny against his cheek.

"Something isn't right..." Kakashi murmured to himself, I rolled and turned around about to counter when I heard something. Kakashi's eye widened. "DUCK!!!" He cried, tackling Naruto and I to the ground. Sasuke got the bridge builder and Sakura.

I looked up at the tree in front of us to see a all too familiar weapon, an even more familiar man standing on top of it. "Well, well well, look who it is. Zabuza Momochi." Kakashi greeted. "The rouge ninja of the Hidden Mist."

"Oh look, its Kakashi Hatake, the Copy Cat Ninja, and Yakunan Ookami." He said in the same tone as Kakashi's. "Hmph, Yakunan. I guess you escaped O-" he was cut of by a kunai thrown at his head, cutting his shoulder, cutting it pretty deep. He grabbed his shoulder and glared at me.

"I suggest you shut it, Zabuza." I advised, swirling chakra around me. Crimson, lets go.

'Yay! I'm ready for a real battle!' Crimson cheered, grinning from ear it ear. 'Let's go!!' She called.
