Chapter 1; The Beginning:

*-*-* Yakunan's POV *-*-*

Wind whipped past my face as I fled.

Crimson, Pure, are you okay? I thought to them.

'Yeah.' They wheezed causing me to sigh in relief.

Thank goodness. You guys should sleep, I'll make sure we get to safety, I recommended.

'No,' Crimson protested, her once loud voice was replaced with raspy almost silent whispers. 'We can go yet, if we let our guard down who knows what'll come after us?'

'I agree with Crimson,' Pure stated. 'We need to stay with you as long as possible. Once we get to safety we'll rest.' Her voice was softer than usual.

'Listen,' Crimson began. 'There should be a village ahead, a few days time. If we keep moving nonstop we'll be able to get there, hopefully without any interruptions.' Pure nodded, agreeing once again.

Just don't push yourselves anymore than you need to, I'll make sure we get there safe and sound. Okay?

'Okay.' They said before going completely silent. I sighed again and undid the jutsu on my ears, helping me hear any sound in our direction from 5 miles radius. I put more chakra into my feet as I jumped from tree to tree. I took a kunai out protectively, hoping that nothing would ambush me. I only need to get to the village, that's it, once I'm there, I'll be safe for at least a week or so.

For five days, I ran nonstop. Every now and them Crimson and Pure would give me their chakra to help me do that I wouldn't pass out. They couldn't help my physical properties though, my legs were too weak from lack of proper nutrition. If I were to run any longer, I could probably become paralyzed if I didn't have to demons inside if me...

An hour after noon, I could see the gates of a village and I could feel chakra signatures. I smelt two males at the front, probably the guards. Once I was in their field of vision, I quickly did a jutsu to hide my ears and tail and slowly walked to them. Crimson and Pure were about to drop, as was I.

I limped to the men and looked at them. One had a bandage going across his face and spiky dark blue hair. The other had a bandana on his head and brown hair covering one eye. The each had headband/bandanas and plate-metal things and similar outfits.

"Who are you and what is your--" the spiky haired one called out. He cut himself off seeing how I looked. I was covered in mud, dirt, and blood, most of it being my own. My hair was probably a hot mess too... "Hey, are you okay?" He called out worryingly. I didn't answer and continued to limp towards them. My foot got caught on a rock, causing me to slip and fall face forwards. The brown haired man caught me just before I hit the ground. I could hear him faintly calling my name.

'Sleep child,' Pure said softly. 'You deserve it.'

'It's okay now,' Crimson said. 'We're safe for now.'

I took their advice and black spots filled my vision, as I went into a dreamless sleep.

*-* Izumo's POV *-*

I caught the small child and carried her bridle style over to my partner and best friend, Kotestu. "What do we do know?" Kotestu asked.

"I'll bring her to the hospital, you go tell the Hokage." I instructed, and Kotestu immediately teleported. I teleported to the front of the hospital and ran in. "I need a medic!" I called out. Several nurses and doctors ran to me, taking the dark haired girl from my hands. I was a bit concerned, she was literally only akin and skin and bones!! I hope they fix that at the hospital. After she was safely placed on a stretcher, I teleported to the Hokage building after Kotestu. 'What in the world happened to that girl...?'
