Meeah

We had been walking for a while. I still wasn’t sure where we were going. But I was grateful that I was away from Cain and Ceeana. I wasn’t even sure how much time it had been. I was starting to get really tired though.

Suddenly, as we were walking, I got a familiar scent. Flaming roses and musk. Leelan. Leelan?? The feelings that were coursing through me were too many to understand what they were. But all I knew for sure was that happiness was one of them. 

“Lilly? Where are we going?“ I whispered. She didn’t reply and just kept walking. All of a sudden, I heard someone say mate. Mate?? 

But I heard it twice. Who is here??? Did they find us?? My feelings quickly shifted to one of fear. If they found us they’d hurt him and that I couldn’t stand the thought of. But before my thoughts were deeping consumed into the negatives, I heard someone call out my name.

I frantically looked around until I saw him running to me. Then he picked me up, while yelling my name. Leelan! Oh my Goddess it’s really Leelan! I thought to myself. I was crying, actually I was sobbing. But he was also crying. 

Wow, I missed him so much! We missed each other. I couldn’t believe he was there! Lilly really did everything to get me back to Leelan. 

Wait! I heard mate! Is lilly ok? Who’s her mate? Please don’t be Leelan. I questioned myself and turned to look for Lilly. I asked her if she was ok and she said yes. She said he was her mate, he as in Jace. Leelans best friend and future Beta. Which gave me a feeling of complete relief. I was so scared it would’ve been Leelan. 

Lilly was afraid he wouldn't want her, afraid she wouldn’t be welcomed into the pack. Leelan reassured her that he would make it work and she would be accepted. We all headed back to the pack house. I wasn’t sure how long it took, but once there Jace took Lilly and Leelan walked me to my room. 

He told me how happy he was to have me back and turned to head to his room. I stopped him, asking if he’d stay. He agreed and we went into my room. I went to shower and went back out into my room. He was already laying in bed, so I went and laid on his side to cuddle. 

“I love you Leelan…“ I didn’t realize I really said that out loud. Even if it wasn’t loud I knew he heard me. I wasn’t looking at him so I wouldn’t be disappointed by his facial expression. I was ready to tell him he didn’t have to say it back when I heard my name come out of his mouth. 

“Meeah...“ I didn’t know what got into me but I didn’t even let him say anything else. 

I kissed him. 

When we broke off the kiss I heard him. 

“I love you too little wolf.“ 

I kissed him. Again. Again. And again. Those kisses led to so much more. He stopped and asked if I was sure and I was more than sure. If I was going to give myself to anyone, mate or not, it would be Leelan. Thanksgiving was the night I gave my all to Leelan.

Goddess, I hope he’s my mate because I love him and I love him with everything in me. I sent that silent prayer to the Goddess and instantly fell asleep in his arms.

Waking up in the morning, I was still in his arms. I couldn’t believe I was back home. I started kissing him all over his face and he started waking up. 

“Good morning sunshine“ I whispered. 

“Good morning my little wolf“ he said huskily.
