Leelan

“Leelan…” 

She whispered and I just laid at her feet. I felt her kneel down next to me. Why does this feel so good? I just don’t understand… I’m not sure how much time goes by, but she yawns. I head to the tree where I hide a bag of shorts , so when I shift back I’m not naked. I come out and tell her we should head back. 

Once we go in, there are my siblings. I introduce her to them, then excuse us, so I can show her to her room. I show her the directions to mine then I leave her to shower before dinner. After I shower and get dressed, I head to her room. I knock but don’t get a reply. I turn the knob and stick my head in. There she is fast asleep, she must have been exhausted to not make it to dinner. I close the door behind me and make my way to dinner. After dinner, I went back to my room and went to bed. Tomorrow is another day, a day I’ll be taking Meeah with me to school. 

*Beep... Beep… Beep* I groan, as I’m woken up by my alarm. Turning it off, I get myself up and get ready for school. Walking down the hall, someone bumps me. Meeah. She tries to apologize and I cut her off. We make our way out and head to school. 

On the ride, I let her know that the High school isn’t just my pack, but my good friend Cairos pack also attends the High school. I did notice a bit of fear in her eyes, but I didn’t want to question her. We walk into the school and of course everyone is staring at her. I’m getting frustrated, but brush it off and continue. I’m being annoyed again by Ceeana and I try to rush away from her. I noticed the way she looked at Meeah and it was pissing me off. 

I walk Meeah to the office, so she can get her schedule and we parted ways since the senior hallway is on the other side. I linked Eva, to keep an eye on Meeah. The first  few periods go like a breeze and it’s lunchtime. I’m running late. 

As I’m down the hall I see someone run out bumping into Cairo. I didn’t realize if either one spoke, I was too busy trying to figure out who it was. She ran away and as she got closer than passed me I saw her. Meeah… She’s crying! 

“Meeah!”

I screamed out to her. She stops and I catch up to her. She tells me she wants to go home while in tears. I question her, but she’s so upset she’s just begging to go home. I excused us for the rest of the day. I need to find out what the hell happened, but first I need to get her home. 

On the drive, she falls asleep. All that crying wore her out. I brought her to her room and sat for a bit. I link Eva, to let her know they have to find a way home and to see if she knows what exactly happened. She asked me if Meeah’s ok. She told me that Ceeana decided to embarrass her at lunch and trip her. Making everyone laugh at her. Of course, it was Ceeana, I don’t get what her problem is. She is nothing to me, she’s just Cairos sister! She is not my mate and she knows it, so she needs to knock it off. She needs to leave Meeah alone before I tell her off. I decide to head to the kitchen for a snack and walk by fathers office. I hear voices. 

“Alpha Cain, I’m sorry, but I’m not giving up any of my lands.” Father had stated. 

“Alpha Theo, big mistake. I’ll get that land one way or another.” He sounded angry. 

Before I could even move away, that Alpha storms out bumping right into me. Looks me right in the eyes and walks away. Something about him doesn’t settle right with me or my wolf. I go into fathers office. 

“I think we just gained an enemy.” I look at him, “I only heard the ending…” I leave and just go to my room feeling real uneasy… I go and just nap to get my mind off of it. It didn’t last long, when I was woken up by screams…
