Meeting More Countries

The next day, I was asked by Feliciano and Lovino if I could help them in gathering tomatoes to make pasta sauce. I gladly accepted their request.

In a portion of the huge garden, a number of vegetables and fruits were being grown. While picking out tomatoes with the Italian brothers, I made friends with the country Spain. He introduced himself as Antonio Fernàndez Carriedo. He helped us with the work.

"Romano, could you pass the basket here?" Antonio asked him.
"Get it yourself, you bastard," was Lovino's reply.
"Haha, okay. I'll get it," the Spanish country stood up from his place and went over, smiling.

I was surprised to find him so optimistic and cheerful even after facing such harsh comments from Lovino. I have heard that Antonio had raised Lovino since he was a small country. Maybe he grew attached towards him for that reason and thinks of himself as his guardian.

"They are more like brothers," I thought to myself, smiling.

All of a sudden, Kiku and Yao came to my mind. Even though they weren't related...they were like brothers once. So what happened?

"Ve~ Look, bella! We got so many tomatoes!" Feliciano showed me a basket full of tomatoes. I smiled.

We took the tomatoes inside and headed towards the kitchen where we kept them.

"Ve~ Now I'll start making pasta~ Brother Romano, what would you like to eat?"
"Make pizza for me, you bastard."
"Roger!"
"I'm not Roger! I'm Romano, you bastard!"

I giggled at the brothers' silliness. I left the kitchen and walked on the corridor, thinking about Kiku.

I only have a month in my hand...I have to confess my feelings to him sooner or later! But...will he accept them...? Will he ‐

"Ow!"

I bumped into someone and fell on the floor.

"Oh, I am sorry. Are you alright?" A hand was offered to me to get up. I took the hand.

"Thank you for your help. And I'm sorry, I wasn't ‐" I stopped when I saw the face of the person.

"Alfred!"

His hairstyle was different and he held on to a small polar bear in his hands.

"Oh no, I'm not America. I am his brother, Canada," he said.
"Oh I see..."
"Who are you?" the polar bear asked its master.
He sighed. "I am Canada."

"My name is (Y/n). It's a pleasure to meet you, Canada."
"Eh, please call me Matthew," he said, smiling.

The brothers were so different, I thought to myself. Alfred is always so hyper while his brother, Matthew, is so calm.

"So, where were you headed off to, (Y/n)?" Matthew asked.
"Well, I was just looking around."
"Oh, if you would like then you can come and have some pancakes with me. I just received new supplies of maple syrup today."
"Really? That's really kind of you. Thank you very much," I replied.

As far as I've heard, the maple syrup from Canada was the best one. To be able to taste it would be a pleasant opportunity for me.

We walked down the long corridor, talking about trivial things when I saw two men and a boy running in our direction with a pile of files in each one of their hands.

"Hurry, Lithuania! Or else Mr. Russia will terrorize us again!" the man with the spectacles said in panic.
"Yes, I am hurrying. But I can't believe he is bossing us around even when we don't work for him anymore!" the green‐eyed brunette replied.
"This is how he has always been!" The shorter one cried out.

"Hey, guys. How are you?" Matthew asked, smiling.
But the trio hurried past us ignoring the smiling country. I turned to Matthew. He had a devastated look on his face.

While running, the shorter one tripped and fell down, scattering all the files around him.

"Latvia, are you alright?"

"Ah, I'm okay. But I don't think I can carry so many files anymore..." the fallen boy said.
"That would be troublesome."

"Please, let me help you," I walked over to the boy and helped him get up. He dusted himself and looked up at me.

"Thank you, Miss. But Mr. Russia will punish us with his Magic Metal Pipe of Pain if he gets to know that we bothered you," the boy whom they called 'Latvia' said, nervously.
"M‐Magic Metal Pipe..." I blinked, confused.

The other two males stepped forward. The blonde taller one adjusted his glasses. "It is very kind of you to offer your help. I haven't seen you around before. You must be the guest, am I correct?"

He seemed to be an intelligent country. His spectacles added even more to his smart looks.

"Yes, I am. My name is (Y/n)," I smiled.

"I am the country of Estonia. Also called Eduard Von Bock."
"I am Lithuania. And my name is Toris Laurinaitis," the man with shoulder‐length brown hair said.
Lastly, the young boy introduced himself. "And I'm Latvia. Although I also go by the name Raivis Galante."

"Together...We are the Baltic Trio!" they said in unison.

"I see. It's nice to meet you all."
"The feeling is mutual, young miss."

I helped them pick up the fallen files and gave them to Raivis. We started walking along the corridor. They asked me about myself, my hobbies and what I liked to do in my free time. I warmly answered all their questions.

"So, what were you doing back then in the corridor? Were you busy?" Toris asked me.
"Oh no, I was...well...Am I forgetting something?"

(Meanwhile)

"Even (Y/n) forgot about me..." Canada sat in a dark corner, sighing.

The white polar bear came up to him. "Who are you?"
He sighed again. "I am Canada..."

(Poor Canada...(╥_╥)...Anyways, let's forget about him and continue with the story!)

"If you aren't busy then you can spend some time with us. I can show you some of the computer programs that I developed," Eduard suggested.
"Sure!"

"Pssss..."

We heard a hissing sound from around the corner. We looked around but found no one.

"Pssss...Liet..."

"Huh? I think someone's calling me," Toris said out aloud.

"Here...Come..."

Turning around, we saw a hand beckoning over. Toris went there to check who it was.

"Who is ‐ woah!" He got pulled behind the wall.

"What's the matter?...You want to talk to her?...You can't talk to her?...But you want to talk to her?...What do you want??"

The three of us sweatdropped as we heard Toris whispering to someone. We quietly tiptoed towards their direction and peeked.

He was talking to a short blonde male who seemed to be nervous.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked.

They gasped. The brunette turned to us and cleared his throat. "Meet Poland. He is a bit shy but he is very friendly."

"Huh? Me and shy?" The Polish man stepped forward and faced me with a confident face. However, when I looked down I found his legs shaking.

"Umm...my name is (Y/n). Greetings."
"Yo, (Y/n). I'm Feliks. There is one thing I want to say to you."
"Yes, please go ahead."

He snickered. "If I crossdress, then I would make a prettier girl than you!" he said aloud.

Except Feliks, all of us stood there with a confused look on our faces. How were we supposed to respond to that?

"So? What do you think?" He seemed proud of his talent.
"Well...umm..." I stammered.

I was thinking what I should say when I heard my name from a distance.

"(Y/nnnn)!!!"

I turned to see Yao running in the corridor towards us. He stopped to catch his breath.

"Yao, is there something wrong?"

"What are you doing here, aru? You were supposed to get ready," he said.
"Ready? Ready for what?" I asked, confused.

"Aiyah, for tonight's party, of course!"
