Akira was running blindly and suddenly she is engulfed in a bone crushing hug!

Woah there bhabi!
Where are you going in such hurry!
Did you see a ghost or what!
- asked Smriti

Akira blinked her eyes in disbelief that Smriti was actually here, she asked -
Oh God Smriti you are really here! Wait?
How are you! Is everything ok with you?
Did they treat you right!?!

Smriti just smiled at her new Bhabi and said - Relax Bhabi! Everything is ok! And besides, kartik and his family treated me like a princess.
I came here because I knew things are complicated here, especially after your marriage.
Tayi ma sa informed that we have to perform so many rituals together...so kartik brought me here....my in laws will be joining later but I could not stop myself.

Anyways, how are things between the two of you? - she winked

Did you two had a nice time yesterday? - she smirked

Smriti please! Don't embarrase the poor girl! And don't forget, she is your elder! - Tayi maa interrupted

Kartik also walked in and greeted all.

Vikram too watched them in awe when he was descending the stairs with both the kids.
His smile never left his face...and his eyes found Akira's and his heart skipped few beats as he saw her laughing carefree, after such a long time. He joined them and asked the house staff to serve the breakfast.

Tayi maa cleared her throat and announced - kids enough of mischief, today, There will be two post marriage rituals for you two couple as per our Royal traditions.
One is Mooh-Dikhayi and the other one is the Chooda ceremony.
Since, Smriti's in laws wanted her to follow their customs, there would be slight changes in the ceremonies but over all they all are same. I have selected clothes and jewelry for both of you. After the breakfast, please gk and get ready...i have assigned your stylist.
The function starts around 4 so before that, I will send you something filling to eat. And boys, no funny business with your wives! - she warned

Akira went to her room and a hair and make up stylist was waiting for her.
She asked Akira to change into her apparel. Akira came out wearing a maroon and golden lehenga which had yellow duppatta with maroon intricate embroidery. It was a very beautiful rajasthani royal attire. She alreday looked breathtaking with her fair skin. She asked the make up artist to keep it simple as she has to wear kundan set too. Tayi maa sa walked in and she watched akira with admiration in her eyes and Akira unknowingly blushed.

Tayi maa said - You are looking like a real queen Akira! Our People are going to love their new queen!

You know, the kundan set you are wearing right now, belonged to Vikram's mother. She was just as beautiful as you are! You remind me of her. She was just like you...Sensitive and Beautiful!
Oh! How I miss her!

Akira pressed her palm on her shoulder.
Tayi maa sa smiled and nodded.
She said - I am here to put the veil on you, as this is our tradition. The mother in law puts the veil on the bride and later the husband would be the first one to unveil his bride.
And he will make you wear our Royal nose ring!

Akira felt uncomfortable about this idea but she still nodded.

She was feeling conscious....and she was nervous as hell because, she had to deal with a lot of expectations.

On the other hand, Smriti too got ready in a beautiful magenta lehenga and pink veil which her mother in law had brought. Smriti was enjoying all these rituals to her whole heart.

Vikram wore a Royal coat with Jodhpuris. An Udaipur Rajwada broach adorned his coat and He looked drool worthy. He had the personality of a real Royal descendant. And he was eagerly waiting for his queen, his Akira!

Kartik wore a forest green Sherwani with a duppatta on his shoulder. He looked very Handsome.

Soon, guests started to gather and both the grooms were made to sit on their respective sofas. The palace looked like a new bride with its exquisite decoration and lighting.

Vikram felt a twist in his stomach and his eyes turned towards the entryway and his lips curled up in a smile when he saw his bride. She was Looking like a fairy. The glistening of her lehenga and her jewels made her look like a Queen. But he hated the veil, he wanted to see her face up close.

Both Smriti and Akira moved towards the stage and then slowly they sat down with their grooms.

Tayi maa asked Vikram to lift the veil and he turned to her side and lifted her duppatta and his breath hitched. Whereas, Akira did not dare to look up...as she was nervous. But she felt his intense gaze on her.
Her mind snapped out when she felt his hands near her face. She looked up to see but she immediately regretted her decision because, Vikram was looking at her like she is his favorite candy...his eyes full of emotions....she lowered her eyes.... And then she felt His hands coming closer to her lip area. She stiffened when his finger brushed her lips as he was putting on the nose ring. She closed her eyes tight when he locked the ring on her nose. She gasped.
His mere touch gave her goosebumps and she shivered.
Then She heard him say hoarsly - Beautiful as ever!
Their eyes met for a second and Vikram stared at her each and every feature. His eyes turned a shade deeper filled with love and desire...but he immediately masked those feelings and moved back.
The guests started to come and offer their gifts to the couple.
Smriti and Kartik too performed their ritual happily.

Later, the Chooda ceremony began. A beautiful set of Choodas were placed in milk and a ancestral set of kangans(Bangles) were about to adorn Akira's wrist.
Tayi ma said - Akira, these Choodas are the auspicious symbol of your marriage... You have to wear them for at least 15 days... Will you be able to do it?

Akira nodded and Vikram as her Husband made her wear the ancestral golden Bangles and then the Choodas. His eyes twinkled with happiness when he saw Akira's hand filled with his mother's gold Bangle and Choodas.

Akira kept her head low....but she held her head up when she heard vidit and kiyara arguing over something.
She exchanged a "what's happening "look with Vikram and he shrugged.

Vidit - You girls are so stupid!

Kiyara - No, We girls are always so smart!

Vidit - Oh yeah! That's why Smriti Bua lost! Boys are always strong so they always win!

Kiyara - No girls are stronger!

Vidit - No, mommy says Boys are the strongest!

Kiyara - you are lying... Mumma would never say such a thing...!

Visit - Mommy never lies...!

Kiyara - let's find out!

Both of them ran towards Vikram and Akira who asked in unison - what's Happening kids!

Vidit spoke - Daddy, aren't girl stupid? They are cry babies na?

Kiyara said - Look Mumma, how vidit is making fun of girls! Tell him girls are the Best! Aren't you the strongest! And we never loose na?

Akira smiled at their cuteness and put kiyara in her lap whereas vidit sat on Vikram's.

Akira said - Yes, my princess, Girls are the strongest...and they can face any hardship!

Vidit stomped his feet and spoke - No! Girls are cry babies! Right Daddy? Look how weak Smriti bua is! She lost her ring challenge.

Vikram chuckled and nodded.

Bhai! Did you just agreed that I am a cry baby and weak? - Smriti raised her eyebrow

Yes Baby, you are a cry baby! Weren't you crying after you lost the ring challenge to me? - Smirked Kartik

Smriti pouted and hugged Akira and said - Bhabi, now you have to prove that we girls are the Best!
You have to beat Bhai in this challenge!

Akira looked confused - How... Me...??

Smriti said - Oho! Let's play the ring challenge again and this time it's Bhabi vs Bhai! What say?

Vikram said - Hey! We don't have that ritual post marriage!

Are you already scared Bhai? - Smriti mocked

Akira said in a low voice - Leave it na Smriti, we all know that girls are the Best!

Vikram eyed Akira and announced - Get the Bowl, we will play!
But on one condition, the Loser will have to fulfill one of the winner's wishes.

Akira looked up to him and found his mischievous eyes. He was planning something!

The teams divided with Kiyara, Smriti and Akira in one whereas Vidit, Kartik and Vikram in one.

The hootings and cheerings set the playful mood.

Both Vikram and Akira put their hand to find the ring and their fingers grazed each other's...giving both of them a weird shiver. But they focused....finally Vikram smirked and looked at Akira, she knew he had the ring...but before he could announce....Akira pinched his palm, snatched the ring and winked! To say, Vikram was shocked would be an understatement....he was amused by her carefree gestures. She raised the ring up and did a show off. Everyone started hooting.
She whispered - Are you hurt Mr. Rathore?
Vikram smiled and said - I didn't know you were a prankster! But it's ok!

Banda aapki khidmat me aazir hai!
(At your service ma'am)

Kiyara showed her tongue to Vidit and chirpped - Yey! We won! See Boys are Losers!

Vidit pouted and said -

Daddy, aap mumma se haar gaye!
(You lost to mumma)

Vikram sighed and whispered -

Haan, aapki mumma ne mujhe jeet liya!
(Yes, your mom won me over)

Both their eyes met and Akira was stunned at his words.

On the other hand, Both kartik and Smriti hi-fied and looked in awe at their new adorable couple!
