"That is amazing, Reed," Blake breaks the silence.

"Yeah, you will have our full support if that is what you want," Raven informs, hugging her son.

"Those love birds need to talk, so come on, everyone," Raven leaves the room, pulling all the others along with her. Keith points his fingers towards Reed to make sure that we know that he is watching us. I roll my eyes.

"Are you mad, Kiara?" Reed asks me once everyone leaves.

"No, I am not mad. Not mad. Not mad at all, Nuh-uh. You don't think I am mad, do you? Because I am not. Don't think that I am mad,"

"So, I will take it that you are mad," Reed concludes.

"No. Not mad at you. Just at our fates," I sigh and sit down on the couch. He sits beside me and pulls me into a side hug. I lay my head on his chest.

"If you don't want me to go, I won't sparkle," he tells me, stroking my hair.

"This is your life, Reed. Don't think about me. Do what you want to. I will accept it. I am not going to be one of those devil girlfriends who forces their boyfriend to act according to their will," he chuckles.

"I want to play football sparkle. I love playing football," he finally states after some silence.

"Do you want to break up with me?" I nervously ask, dreading the answer

"Are you mad? I love you, sparkle. I don't care if you are a thousand miles away from me. I will always love you. I don't mind being in a long-distance relationship with you. If you had gone back to India, I still would have stayed in a relationship with you,"

"But I don't want to make you wait for me,"

"Sparkle, if it's you, I don't mind waiting a thousand years. We are like penguins who only have one mate their whole life. I am sorry to say this, but you are stuck with me for the rest of my life," I chuckle.

"Bu-"

"Mom asked me if I will be able to live without you one day. I couldn't even imagine not being without you, sparkle. I want to spend my whole life with you," that shut me up.

"I love you, and I want to spend my life with you too," I say, and he pecks my forehead. We stay in comfortable silence until,

"You guys are decent, right?" I hear Noah's voice.

"Do they ever leave you alone?" Reed asks me with amusement in his voice.

"I wish," I reply.

All four of my friends come barging in.

"You guys have your own house, right?" I ask them.

"Yeah, but it is more fun irritating you," Luke informs, shaking his eyebrows.

"Guys, where are you all going for college?" Reed asks them.

"I have decided to take a year gap," Kate starts, "I want to find my field of interest,"

"You should publish your book," I blurt out.

"You write?" Luke asks, shocked.

"She is an amazing writer. I read her book, and I am in love," I inform everyone.

"I want to read your book," Ava pouts.

"I am going to start a business," Noah states. Believe it or not, although Noah is a clown, he has good brains.

"I have decided to major in business, and I got into Washington state university,"

"I am so glad we get to be together," I smile at Andrew.

"So, you are not leaving for India?" Ava questions.

"Nope, I got into a university here, and I am staying with you guys," I exclaim. Kate and Ava pull me into a hug.

"I am going to England,"

"Nice way to drop such a big bomb," you can guess who said that.

"So, when are you leaving?" Keith asks, coming into the room.

"After two months," I have enough time to spend with him.

"Kiara. I have some sad news," Keith states,

"You are going back," I finish. He sadly nods.

"It's ok. I will come to visit you soon," I assure Keith.

"When are you leaving?" Reed questions.

"Tomorrow,"

"Okay, since everyone is here, let us all chill in the pool," I exclaim.

"Last one, is a rotten egg," Ryder shouts, running to the pool. We all laugh and race to the pool and jump in, not minding our clothes.

"Let's play truth or dare," Luke suggests.

"Typical," kate scoffs.

"Noah truth or dare?"

"Why am I going first?"

"Because you are the idiot here, and you will do every dare we ask you to," Luke smirks.

"Can't deny that,"

"Dare" He smirks.

"I dare you to remove your outfit and swim in your underwear," Reed gives him the dare.

"What if I am not wearing any?" Noah grins.

"NOAH," we all shout, laughing.

He goes out and get's back in, only wearing his boxers.

"Hey, not bad this is actually more comfortable,"

"Next, please. I don't want to hear about how comfortable you are," Kate replies, changing the topic.

"Luke, truth or dare?" Kate starts.

"I am playing safe so, truth,"

"Did you ever have a crush on Kiara? Oh, this is payback for the slime prank," Kate smirks evilly.

"Well, I am going to get killed today. Thank you, Kate,"

"You are most welcome,"

Luke slowly gets out of the pool.

"Yes," he shouts and runs away. Reed gets out of the pool and runs after him.

"Kiara, help. Your boyfriend is going to eat me alive," he shrieks.

"I am not into cannibalism, thank you very much," Reed states, keeping Luke in a headlock.

We enjoy and have fun the rest of the day, and soon it's time for Kei to leave.

"Are you all packed?" Raven inquires.

"Yep, and thank you all for taking care of my sister. She is the only family I have left. Please take care of her," Keith requests.

"Keith, please don't go," I say on the verge of tears.

"Kia, I have to. My life is back there, and my lovely girlfriend is waiting for me," he grins.

"Promise me that you will be careful," I urge him.

"I promise Kiara I will see you soon. Take care, and I love you," he pulls me into a hug.

"I love you too, Kei" I reply and let the tears flow. I don't want him to go. But he is right, he has a life back there in India. Anyway, I will see him soon again.

"Bye," he waves to everyone and enters the taxi. I insisted on going with him, but he refused. He states, and I quote, ' You will embarrass me at the airport by crying so loudly,' which I thought was dumb.

I go back inside and watch haikyuu, which is my comfort anime. I watch it to take my mind off things.

I go back downstairs for dinner and find Ryder listening to Before you go by Lewis Capaldi. Wonder what happened to him? But unknowingly, a sad smile appears on my face.

It was the song my parents last sang before they died. My mom has an amazing voice, and dad plays the guitar. Every week they play songs for Kei and me.

I feel vibrations in my pocket and attend the call.

"Hi, is this Kiara Tennyson?"

"Yeah. May I know who is speaking?"

"I am sorry to inform you this, but your brother -"
