Oh no, why do I have such a big mouth? The whole room stares at me like I have grown two heads. I don't really think people in this school talk bad about the bad boy. Well looks like I am screwed. The girl previously sitting on Reed's lap approaches me along with two other girls. She comes to our table and stares right at me.

"You know, for being the new girl, you have got some guts to blurt out stuff like that to my baby." She smirks, gesturing to Reed, who looks pretty amused at this situation. I mentally gag at that part.

"I like you. Would you like to join my group and become popular? Because you are the only girl who had some guts to talk out loud like that." she offers. Can someone explain what is happening right now? Because this is not at all what I expected.

I slowly get up from my seat and stand before her. The girl has a smirk on her face.

"No, I refuse," I state. The whole cafeteria looks up at me in shock and confusion. My friends look relieved. Did they really think that I would join her group? Eww. That is disgusting, wearing very little clothing and kissing anyone of the opposite gender, No thank you.

The girl looks shocked for a second, but anger quickly replaces her features. She snarls at me.

"Do you have any clue who I am for you to refuse the offer? Anyway, I was not going to allow you into my group. I was just gonna embarrass you for betraying your friends that quickly," she scoffs.

"I think I have a small clue on who you are." I smile and take a look at her from head to toe.

"Very revealing dress, check." I look behind her to her friends who are wearing the same kind of clothing.

"Two minions, check." Then I look straight at her.

"Too much makeup and plastic face, check." I tap her head twice, and she swats my hand away.

"No brains, check." I finish and smirk at her. If looks could kill, I would literally be 6 feet underground right now. She has a murderous look on her face, but I continue.

"You are basically the queen bee of the school who thinks she rules the school and that everyone is below her and should follow her like a lost puppy. You bully people, mainly people who are, smart because you are not smart. You like to embarrass people, and you are most probably pretending to date that guy and hates all the girls who try to get near him. But we all know you are not loyal to your relationship." I finish, pointing at Reed, who has a smug grin.

"You threaten everyone who looks at Reed and thinks you are the most beautiful girl in the world and put everyone beneath your shoes, or in this case, heels." She looks at me with pure hatred. I have read a lot of books to know about this stuff.

"So shall I stop? or do you want more?" I conclude with a smirk. The whole room has its jaw on the floor, and some people look happy. I go back to my seat and start eating my food as if nothing happened.

"You know so much about me, then you should also know one more thing tha-" I cut her off.

"That you are gonna make my life a living hell for embarrassing you and that you are gonna make me regret ever coming to this school." I finish.

"I would like to see you try." I challenge her. She just gives me one more glare, walks away to her table, and sits back on Reed's lap, most probably to whine and complain about me. I look at my new friends and find everyone already staring at me with an open mouth.

"OMG girl, you were awesome out there, and her name is victoria. She is such a pathetic excuse for a human being, and she is also the sister of THE queen bee of this school, Valarie. She is a senior so, we have a different lunch period." finally, Kate breaks the silence. I give her an appreciative smile.

"Yeah, we are gonna be best friends." Ava declares.

"For a second, I really thought you were gonna go with her because she will, invite you and then embarrass you. That is what happened to Apr-" but Noah was cut off by Luke.

"Happened to someone close to us." he finishes. I look at them confused, but then I drop the subject. Soon lunch is over, and the rest of the day goes by with just a few glares from Victoria and her minions. Although Reed was in most of my class, I didn't acknowledge him.

Soon school was done for the day, and I said goodbye to my friends and headed to the park near the school. I still hate Reed for making me do this. But I am also glad because if victoria knows we are living together, she will literally bury me alive. I also don't want people to know because I will gain unwanted attention.

I head over to the swing and wait for Reed. I feel at peace watching the kids play and running around in the snow. I see his car pull up at the entrance, and I get inside without greeting him. I am still mad at him.

"Come on, sparkle really, the silent treatment?" I give him a death glare.

"Ok, sorry. Kiara, I know you are mad at me for dropping you at the park and making you walk, but I did it for a reason. The boys in our school will try to approach you and ask you for dates and stuff not because they like you but to make me angry. They will do anything to make me mad and suspend me from school. So please forgive me." he begs.

He has a point, but it still hurt a bit that he only thought about himself. Anyway, there is no point in holding a grudge against him. It was nice walking to school from the park, anyway.

"You will be forgiven on one condition," I tell him.

"What is it? I will do anything." He smiles.

"You have to buy me McDonald's for the next two months, not only for a week since you lost the bet," I tell him. What? Don't judge me. I love food.

"Done," he replies with a thumbs up. We talk about my first day on the way home. We reach home, and I see Ryder telling Raven something with a big smile on his face. He sees me and hugs me, startling me a bit, but I hug him back.

"Kiara, you know what? I made two new friends, a girl and a boy. They are really kind, and we have so much in common. I took your advice and talked to them, and I have friends now. Can you believe that? Thank you so much." He tells me with a huge grin. I couldn't help but smile at his cuteness.

"That is amazing, Ryder. I am so happy for you." I hug him once more and place a kiss on his head.

"What no hugs for your big brother?" Reed pouts. He looks like an adorable 5-year-old.

"Ok, you big baby." Ryder chuckles and hugs Reed.

I go to my room and freshen up and talk to Keith and my friends about my first day and the fight. Keith did scold me for picking a fight on the fight day, but he was also proud of me. Soon it's dinner, and we all talk to Raven and Blake about our day. After dinner, Reed and I head upstairs for bed. He hugs me before I enter my room. I stand still for a second before I place my hands around him, hugging him back.

"Kiara, I never thanked you for helping my brother. You really helped him a lot, and I am so happy seeing my brother like this. You really make everyone happy."

"This is the least I could do, Reed. I got to spend time with a real family after two years. I am happy about that. So there is no need for you to thank me. Good night Reed." I say and head over to my room.

It was an amazing first day, is my thought before exhaustion pulls me to sleep.
