Hehe, it is finally April fools day, the best day of my life, well after my birthday. So now I am doing what I am best at, PRANKS. It is 5:45 in the morning, and I am in Ryder's bathroom applying nail polish to his soap with a grin on my face. After that, I add black hair dye to his shampoo. After that, I stick a fake cockroach on the inside of the lamp and tiptoe to Reed's room.

I do the same thing to his soap and shampoo and stick the fake cockroach, and I also place an airhorn behind his bathroom door and go back to my room.

I facetime Keith and he picks up the call after 2 rings since it is only 7 in the evening. I burst out laughing, looking at his face. He is completely covered in glitter, his teeth are black in colour, and he is trying to remove gum from his hair.

"Yeah, yeah, laugh all you want, Ara," he mumbles. And I do, I keep laughing because Keith is a good prankster, and he is also cautious so, hats off to the person who pranked Keith.

"So, who is the mastermind behind this?" I ask him once I calm down. He mumbles something along the lines of 'you will laugh,' and I raise my eyebrow.

"It was your best friends, ok," he tells me, and I start laughing again because Anna and Divya never prank my brother, like never because they know he will do something worse.

"So, what did you do to rile them up?" I question, still laughing.

"Well, I may or may not have turned their hair blonde and sprinkled itching powder to all their clothes," he tells me with a grin.

My eyes widen. They have blonde hair now.

"How did you do it?"

"I had help from Davin," he tells me with a shrug. Of course, Davin Is Div's little brother. He is a devil in disguise. Well, he smelled like rotten eggs for a week, so of course, he took the opportunity to prank her back.

"And they got you back," I chuckle. We talk like that for a couple of minutes, and I start getting ready for the day. There is no way I can sleep again because of my excitement.

I hear the airhorn go off, and I fall off my bed at the loud noise. Woah, I got pranked by my own prank. I hear Reed let out a grunt and a string of curses. I snicker.

I go downstairs and wait.

"KIARAAAAAA," I hear four voices shout my name and a pair of footsteps coming down the stairs. Four pairs of eyes glare at me, there is pin-drop silence, and we all look at each other and start laughing.

Raven's teeth are red because of the food colouring I added to her toothbrush. Blake has his phone in hand that is completely covered in elastic bands and, both Reed and Ryder have black hair.

My prank is a success.

"Kiara, my hair is black" Reed whines, and I shrug. He looks hot, with black hair. It gives you the whole bad boy vibe, but his body should be pink. I wonder what happened? and Reed answers for me.

"Hell to the no, there is no freaking way I was going to use my body wash when my soap was not working, I was confused, and I recalled the date today, and with the air horn, I knew that it was your work. I am not making the same mistake twice," he tells me while shaking his finger at me.

"Aww, it would have been amazing to see you covered in pink again," I pout.

"I am ready to drown myself in perfume than be pink," he tells me, and I scrunch my nose.

Luckily Raven did not ground me since she has no work today, but I still got a stern scolding.

Soon Reed and Ryder come downstairs, and we all eat breakfast. Reed gets up to make a cup of coffee, and I smirk when he adds 'sugar'.

He takes a sip of his coffee once he is done and immediately runs to the sink and rinses his mouth while I chuckle. He glares at me, and I raise my hand in surrender.

Soon we are off to school, and I meet my friends at my locker. When I go near them, I see only Ava, Kate and Luke, but Noah is nowhere to be seen. I hear them whispering, and I tiptoe silently.

"BOO," I jump on Ava while shouting.

"AHHHH," they screech, Ava loses hold of me, and I fall on my butt. When they see that it is me, they look relieved?

"Phew, it's only you. I thought it was Noah," Luke tells me, and I raise my eyebrow.

"Be careful today, Kiara. Noah turns into a psychopath on April fools day." Kate warns and shudders.

When I look at them clearly, they all seem to be shaking. Is Noah really that scary on April fools?

"He was standing in my room wearing a pennywise costume and holding a red balloon at midnight last year on April fools," Luke states, shivering.

"Yeah, I have never seen Luke scream like a girl before," Kate says and chuckles.

"He was dressed like Chucky and h-" Ava starts but suddenly stops, and her eyes widen, we all look at where she is looking, and all three of them hide behind my back.

I look at Noah walking to us, and the grin that he has on his face is the one a killer has before he kills someone. A shiver runs down my spine. I Gulp. Hard.

"Hi, guys," Noah greets once he reaches us.

"Um, hey Noah," I greet, and my friends only nod their heads. He raises his eyebrow at them. I hit Luke on his rib with my elbow.

"H-Hey," they stutter. The twins and Ava scramble, and Noah and I walk to our class, with me walking ten steps behind him. Just to be safe.

In the middle of the class, Noah suddenly shouts and puts his leg on the table.

"Sir, there was a rat here just now," he informs Mr William. He widens his eyes at me, and I get the memo.

"AHHH, sir, something went past my foot," I shriek and stand on my chair.

"EEK, hey, the mouse just went past your table," Luke shouts, pointing his hand to a girls table. She screams and stands on the chair.

"I see one near your bag," I tell a boy who has his backpack on the floor. He immediately takes his bag from the floor. Out of nowhere, two mice run towards Mr William's table. Let me tell you, I have never seen an old man run so fast in my life.

Soon the mice make their way towards the students, and I spot a remote controller in Noah's hands.

The whole class screams and runs out of the room, and Noah and I hi-five each other, laughing.

It's lunchtime now, and I am sitting with Andrew, but he is not talking.

"Andrew, what happened?" I ask him, pretty worried.

"Nothing, Kiara. Just having a bad day, that's all," he tells me.

The wind blows, and his hood falls off, and I see a huge purple bruise on his forehead.

"Andrew," I cry. He puts his hood back up.

"Andrew comes on. We need to go to the infirmary," I tell him, but he shakes his head.

He starts crying, and I immediately hug him.

It pains me to see Andrew like this. I don't know anything about what happens in his life and what he has to go through every day, but I will do something. Soon lunch gets over, and I hug Andrew one last time telling him everything will be alright.

I was spacing out the whole day thinking about Andrew. I reach home, and go to my room, and switch on the light. I see a zombie standing near my bed. Soon another zombie walks out of my bathroom, and two emerge from my closet and someone taps on my shoulder. I turn around and see another zombie, and I scream. I run and hide inside my blanket, All the zombies start laughing, and I poke my head outside and recognise them. I glare at my friends.

"How did you guys get in?"

"Well, we all skipped last period, and Reed told us where the spare key was," I glare at Reed, who is taking a video.

"So Noah being scary on April fools was also a prank?" I question in disbelief.

"Yep. We wanted to scare you. But Noah can still pull terrible pranks," Kate answers.

I was so distracted that I did not notice if Kate was in class with me. All my friends leave after some time, and I start reading a book when I hear screaming followed by,

"KIARRAAAAAA," I chuckle.
