Chapter Nineteen

Jungkook got out of the car and followed the family into their home. He barely spoke a word. There were two twin boys loudly playing around loudly in the living room, hitting each other with swords and screaming loudly.

"Do you wanna play with us!?" The one boy shrieked.

"He's tired honey, not now."

"Nooo!" He yelled as his brother took his toy, throwing a temper tantrum while the other child picked his nose so hard Jungkook swore he was touching his cerebellum.

Jungkook blankly stared slowly, blinking at the chaos that unfolded before his eyes. He silently prayed for one calm, quiet and relaxed baby girl. He knew how routy he was in the past.

"Why don't you just come and lay down."

He nodded his head and followed the women down the hallway and to a small bedroom.

"Do you want anything?" The women asked.

"No." He shook his head.

"Okay, thats okay, if you need anything my room is right next to you."

He nodded.

"Good night honey."

As she closed the door he got up and locked the door. Sitting on the bed he laid down on his side, feeling the tears fall onto the pillow under his head. Feeling broken inside, without his other half he felt weak and alone.

Sniffling he ran his fingers through his hair, sleep was something he knew he wouldn't be able to get. Though his body yearned for sleep, his heart only asked for his other half. Sitting up he chewed on his lip. Exhaustion was prominent throughout his body yet he couldn't sleep. His mind was racing, yet blank. Repeatedly he tapped his fingers against the bed frame feverishly.

Though the temperature of the room was rather cold, his anxiousness made him sweat. Knowing it'd be a long night he groaned shifting his weight on the uncomfortable mattress.

The night went agonizingly slow. Every millisecond felt like eons of time.

Seeing the time Jungkook opened the door and walked into the living room. It was still dark outside as he looked out the door.

Pacing back and forth between the stretch of the small home he took deep breaths, counting the minutes until he could leave to see Yuri.

_________

Yuri laid on her side in the bed, her tears drying on her cheeks as she zoned out, staring at the plant in the corner of the room. A leaf fell and hit the floor as she watched it.

Sighing she looked at the curtains, seeing the sun dimly illuminate the room. Slowly sitting herself up she turned her body to see the clock. It was getting close to seven.

Dragging herself out of the bed she stood up on wobbly legs. Feeling nausea she walked towards the bathroom. Leaning over the bathroom sink she took a deep breath, pushing the hair out of her face.

Her back ached, arching her back she tried stretching it to relieve some pain but it was to no avail. Moaning quietly she closed her tired eyes.

Feeling a light touch on her arm she shot up.

"Hey," Jiwoo softly said.

"Can we leave please?" Yuri quietly spoke.

"Yes, of course." She said, after raising her eyebrows, she had no idea she could speak.

"Clothes on bed." Jiwoo lipped. "Then come downstairs."

Yuri nodded her head slowly. After she changed her clothes she walked down the stairs, pushing her hair behind her. She saw Jiwoo quickly rushing around the kitchen, making a smoothie, coffee, and putting some snacks in a lunch bag.

Awkwardly standing next to the fridge she looked down, waiting for Jiwoo to direct her on what to do.

"Please sit." Jiwoo made eye-contact, pulling out the same chair she had in the previous night.

Jiwoo grimaced seeing Yuri, her eyes red and swollen, melancholy residing on her face.

"Here honey, have a good day, you get done work at 4?" Jiwoo handed Jungseok a handful of items.

"Yes, wow, this is a lot, thank you." He chuckled.

"Lunch at 12?"

"Yes Love."

They both leaned in for a kiss before they exchanged their "Love you's."

Jungseok looked at Yuri, and as soon as he did she looked away. Waiting for her to look in his direction he waved to her.

When they walked outside Yuri went to get in the back seat but Jiwoo gestured her to go and get in the front seat. She'd never sat in the front seat, considering the last time she was in the car she was 7. Yuri sat down and looked out the window while sighing.

_________

Pulling up at the building Yuri almost jumped out of the car. She sat up being pulled back by the seat belt that held her in place.

She could see his figure in the distance, opening the door as Jiwoo walked around the otherside of the car. As she got up she quickly walked towards Jungkook. He smiled brightly seeing her walking towards her.

They threw their arms around each other as he held her in her embrace. He rested his head on top of hers as he tightened his grip on her. Their hearts raced with excitement as if they hadn't seen each other in years.

A smile found Jiwoos lips as she saw the big smiles one their faces. He left his hand resting on her tummy as they gazed into each other's eyes.

"You're okay right?" He asked.

She nodded her head, he nodded back as he kept his arm around her waist, not wanting to let her go. Jungkook shivered while he ran his fingers through his hair.

"It's cold out here so why don't I take you guys inside." Jiwoo suggested.

Yuri saw Jungkook, looked at something behind her and turned her head seeing Jiwoo.

Jungkook nodded his head and grabbed her hand while they followed her inside. Feeling the heat was a relief. Jiwoo told them to sit on one of the couches while she spoke with some of the workers there. That sat closer than ever and leaned on each other.

"Did you sleep?" He signed.

"I couldn't." She replied.

"Me neither. Did you have a panic attack?"

"Yeah . . . But I'm ok."

"I'm sorry, they wouldn't let me-"

"It's not your fault. We'll be together now right?"

"Yes my love."

"How's our baby?" He put his hand on her stomach.

"Baby was up all night with me moving around." She looked at him.

"Well it looks a little cramped in there."

"What are we gonna name them?"

"We have to know if it's a girl or boy....... I don't know why you're asking me anyways, you wouldn't let me name the baby bird we found, the bunny we played with outside, or the injured squirrel we rescued. I don't think it'll be different this time."

"Well if you pick a good name you can."

"Who's last name?"

"Yours!"

"Sorry, I didn't know if-"

"You said you're marrying me so wouldn't it be all of our last names?"

"Of course! I was just offering."

"But obviously it'd be your last name."

"I know, I know."

He missed their bickering over nothing and the feeling of her skin against his. She leaned all of her weight on him and closed her tired eyes. Jungkooks body pleaded for sleep, every cell in him was exhausted. Sighing contently with her presence he allowed himself to relax, the muscles loosening up as he gently held onto her.

Her breathing slowed down and she barely moved, had she fallen asleep that quickly?

Jungkook noticed the woman that brought Yuri walked out the door. Leaning his head back he tried to shut off his mind. But worries filled his mind, he didn't know what would happen the next few days, weeks, months or even years. Their future was filled with uncertainty.

For most of their life that they could remember each day was virtually the same, a few small changes here and there. Though it was rather repetitious it was better than fearing what the next days bring.

It was the one time in his life where he wanted nothing more but to sit at the same dining room table and have one of Sooyoung's home cooked meals with Yuri at his side.

Looking at her he rested his head on hers.

Some time passed and he dozed off, with the approaching steps of someone he quickly sat his head up. Jiwoo walked over with a bag in her hand.

"Hey, you are Jungkook?" She asked in which he nodded.

"I ran out and bought you guys some breakfast, she wouldn't eat, and I figured you're both hungry." Jiwoo softly said, handing him the bag.

He skeptically looked at her while she gave him a warm smile.

"Thank you." He muttered.

"Want me to take you guys somewhere more private? There's a room in the back where you can relax for a little bit."

"Yeah. . ."

Jungkook sat up, rubbing his hand on her stomach trying to wake her up. Opening her eyes she looked around in a daze, confused.

"We're going to another room to eat while we wait." he signed to her.

She stood up, following his lead as they walked behind Jiwoo. They went to the back of the building to a more secluded area. She opened a door and went inside, gesturing to them to go inside.

Sorry I keep forgetting to update! :0
