Chapter Two

Ezra's P.O.V.

I stared at the wall, listening to Hera calmly tell her story, without interrupting her that much.

When she finally got done, I decided to ask something that had been bugging me.

"You had said that you needed the info. Why? It's just TIE fighters. This is an Imperial ship with weapons and food but instead you want something like that."

Hera looks down at me, before shrugging.
"I'm not allowed to say." She whispers, before standing and beginning to pace.

Suddenly, a slot in the doors opened and a single tray would have fell onto the floor if I hadn't quickly ran to it and caught it, (the earlier wounds from earlier making me want to curl up in the floor), but not before half of it falls to the floor.

"You distracted me. Usually I'm ready to catch it. Sorry, Hera." I say, handing her the tray and feeling some blood from the wounds soak onto the back of my ragged shirt.

She stops pacing and looks and me, stuns.

"No, no way. You take it. It's yours." She says, stubbornly might I add.

I chuckle, my breath becoming shallow.

"Actually, it's part of my punishment. I'm not allowed food for a couple days. You need it for our escape. Besides, Hera, I'm about to pass out from blood loss in about three minutes." I say calmly, feeling the blood running down my back and a burning sensation flare up.

Hera sets the tray down, rushing to my side and gently prying my shirt off. The last thing I remember is her telling me to stay with her.

Hera's P.O.V.

Healing a kid with an old shirt is a lot harder than it seems. He had been out for maybe three days (Who can tell, we were in solitary confinement), and he was just showing signs of waking up, with his breathing just now returning back to normal after being painfully shallow.

Obviously, I had lied to the boy when I told him the story of how I got here a couple days ago.

He believes I came here for TIE fighter info, and that I was just a rebel with a small crew.

He was unknown to the fact that I had a Jedi, Lasant, and Mandalorian waiting for me back on the Ghost.

I sighed, something I've been doing a lot since I've been in here, and rubbed my eyes.

I miss Kanan.
