Next day, it was Dusshera. Kartik and the rest of the family were sitting at the dining table eating breakfast. Just a little bit earlier, they had recieved a surprise when Manish and swarna along with keerti had returned from Delhi. They all had been elated on meeting each other.

Only Akhilesh and Surekha were absent. They were also going to return vey soon as Akhilesh's project was in it's final stages. The family was excited on the prospect of meeting them after so long.

Kartik was lost. In naira's thoughts. There was a smile on his face as he was eating breakfast. His mind and tongue weren't even processing what he was eating. He was thinking of last night. There dance, there kiss, there intimate moment. He was lost in memories. Memories of him and naira.

Unknown to him, his family members had noticed him sitting there, grinning like a loon. They were surprised by his behaviour. All looked at each other but everyone just shrugged there shoulder.

Manish :- kartik beta, vo fruits pass karna.

Kartik without looking just picked up a bowl and gave it to Manish. His arms were moving mechanically. To everyone's amusement the bowl had poha in it.

L&k :- bhaiyya vo fruits nahi–

Mansi :- shhhhh. Chup raho.

Keerti put a green chilli on his plate. To everyone's shock, he picked up the chilli and started eating it while smiling. Everyone was looking at him, amused.

Mansi :- bhai, aapko pata hai kal padosi ke ghar mein aag lag gayi thi. Bahut jyada tamasha hua.

Kartik :- nice.

Keerti almost spat out the water she was drinking.

This time Manish shook him.

Manish :- kartik, hosh mein toh ho, logon ke gharo mein aag lag rahi hai aur tum nice keh rahe ho.

Kartik broke out of his trance.

Kartik :- kya, kya hua, kahan aag lagi ?

Swarna :- kartik, itna bhi kahan khayalo mein khoye hue ho ki mirchi tak kha li.

Kartik looked at the green chili in his hand and as if reality crashed in and his mouth started burning.

Kartik :- ahhh. Ssssss. Aaah. Mirchi, mirchi. Paani, paani.

Luv kush were openly laughing at his plight. He quickly picked up the glass of water and started gulping it down greedily. After emptying the glass, he glared at luv kush who stopped laughing.

Manish :- aise bhi kahan khoye hue ho ki bilkul bhi hosh nahi hai.

Kartik :- kuch nahi papa. Bas aise hi. Main chalta hoon, mughe kuch kaam hai. Bye.

He stood up and hurriedly went outside before his family could ask any more questions.

Swarna :- issey kya hua ?

Dadi :- wahi toh hummein bhi samagh nahi aa raha. Jab se Switzerland se aaya hai. Aise hi rehta hai, jab bhi dekho bas muskurata rehta hai. Haa hummein khushi hoti hai iske chehre pe smile dekh kar par aaj kal iski harkato se humein chinta hone lagi hai.

Keerti :- kaisi harkate dadi ?

Dadi :- jaisa abhi isne kiya vaise hi. Kal raat bhi aise hi muskura raha tha. Kal servant ne galti se dood mein shakar ki jagah namak daal diya aur phir bhi ye aise muskurate hue pi gaya. Aur baad mein hamse kehta hai ki dadi aaj doodh kuch jyada hi acha bana hai.

Everyone looked at each other not knowing what to say while Manish and keerti smirked.

Dadi :- hummein toh bahut chinta ho rahi hai apne Kittu ki.

Manish :- kuch chinta karne ki zarurat nahi hai maa, sab kuch thik hai ya phir ye kahoon ki sab kuch pehle se bhi behtar hai.

Swarna :- matlab ?

Manish :- matlab ki ye swarna ki tumhare sahabzaade ko pyar ho gaya hai.

Everyone except Manish and keerti :- kya!!!

Manish :- haa.

They all looked at each other.

Dadi :- hummein toh yakeen hi nahi ho raha ki hamara Kittu jisse kaam ke alava kuch dikhta nahi hai, usse pyaar ho gaya hai.

Swarna :- haa Manish ji, aap itne yakeen se kaise keh sakte hai.

Manish :- baap hoon uska, uski har harkat samaghta hoo.

Keerti :- papa, thik keh rahe hai maa. Shak toh mughe pehle se hi tha par ab confirm ho gaya hai ki kartik ko kisi se pyaar ho gaya hai.

Everyone looked at keerti.

Swarna :- tumhe kabse doubt tha iss baat ka ?

Keerti :- lagabhag ek mahine se.

Dadi :- toh hummein bataya kyun nahi.

Keerti :- dadi, pehle mughe khud doubt tha par confirm aaj hua hai. Aur main 90 percent sure hoon ki ladki kon hai. Aur jahan tak mughe lag raha hai ki ladki ne isse haa bhi kar di hai.

Everyone asked her excitedly :- kon hai, kon hai ?

Dadi :- arey batao na keerti.

Keerti :- abhi nahi.

Everyone :- kya ? Par kyu ?

Keerti :- kyun ki mughe khud bhi poora sure nahi hai. Maine kaha na ki 90 percent hai. Ek baari poora sure ho jaye, phir bata doongi.

Although everyone wanted to know, they just nodded. Though everyone had the same thought 'who was the girl'.

Dadi :- arey hum toh batana bhul hi gaye. Nimo didi ne aaj poore parivaar ko Dusshera manane ke liye apne ghar pe bulaya hai.

Everyone nodded. Manish and Swarna had been told before about the Maheshwari's and Suhasini's childhood friend.

Keerti thoughts :- arey wah dadi, ye bikul sahi mauka hai kartik aur naira ke rishte ka sach jaane ka ki abhi bhi dono bff's hai ya phir bf and gf.

Keerti smiled. She couldn't wait for the evening to come. She quickly sent a message to someone. That person would surely help her in finding the truth of Kartik and Naira's realtionship.

Kartik was excited. He was going to the Maheshwari house. Naira had told him earlier that her family was also coming.

Kartik thoughts :- arey wah krishna ji aap toh overtime karne mein lage hue hai. Bina bole hi meri har baat samagh rahe hai. Aapne aap hi naira se milne ke mauke de rahe ho baar baar. Pehle dandiya ab Dusshera.

He was smiling broadly. Keerti who was sitting beside him noticed his smile. Her doubt was turning more and more into belief. She was surely going to find out the truth by the end of the night.

They reached the Maheshwari home. The family got out of the car and went inside. The Singhaniya's were already there. And so was naira.

She was wearing a blue suit looking very gorgeous. She looked at him with a huge smile on her face.

Kartik :- haaye.

Manish :- kya ?

Kartik tuned towards Manish.

Manish :- kya kaha tumne ? Haaye. Kyu ? Kya hua ? Thak gaye ho gaya drive kar ke ?

Kartik :- nahi. Nahi papa, vo toh bas vo.. vo.. khaane ki khusboo se muh mein paani aa gaya.

Manish looked at him suspiciously.

Manish :- paaka. Koi aur baat toh nahi hai na ?

Kartik :- haa haa pakka.

Manish just nodded. Keerti was laughing internally. She was now definitely sure kartik loved naira. And the way naira smiled at him, she also loved him. Now she just had to catch them red handed.

Kartik introduced everyone to his parents. After introduction everyone sat down to talk.

Kartik looked for naira but couldn't find her anywhere.

Kartik thoughts :- pakka preparations karne gayi ho gi.

He got up and started looking for her.

Naira was going to the kitchen when she was suddenly pulled sideways and pinned to a pillar. She looked up to see kartik.

Naira :- kya kar rahe ho kartik!! Koi dekh lega toh–

Kartik :-
"Unke deedar ke liye dil tadapta hai
  Unke intezaar mein dil tarasta hai
  Kya kahe iss kambakht dil ko
  Apna hokar bhi kisi aur ke liye tarasta hai"

Naira blushed as she heard the shayari.

Naira :- offo. Aaj kal bade shayar bann rahe ho.

Kartik :- ab kya karein. Jab meri girlfriend samne hoti hai toh dil par kaboo nahi rehta.

Naira :- acha ji.

Kartik :- haanji. Aur vaise bhi jab itni pretty ladki mere samne ho toh kon dil par kaboo rakhna chahega.

As he said this he leaned down and kissed her on her neck. Naira's breath hitched and she wrapped her arms around him.

He pulled back and looked at her.

Kartik :- I missed you.

Naira :- arey. Kal hi toh mile the aur aaj subah baat bhi ki thi.

Kartik :- toh. Tumse ek min. nahi nahi, ek second dur hona bardasht nahi hota mughe.

Naira smiled.

Naira :- awwww mera mendak. I love you too.

Kartik smiled. His hand reached behind her and removed her clip untying her hair.

Naira :- kartik, ye kya kiya.

Kartik :- naira, yaad hai maine phele bhi ek baari kaha tha ki tumahre baal khule hue jyada ache lagte hai.

Naira :- haa ache se yaad hai. Isliye kabhi nahi bhaand ti. Mughse se jyada toh tumhe mere baal pasand hai, vo toh bas mumma ne kaha, isliye.

Kartik :- koi baat nahi.

Kartik kissed her forehead.

Naira :- acha pata hai. Maine papa ko abhi dance academy ka presentation dikhaya.

Kartik :- really. Kya kaha unhone ?

Naira :- vo bahut khush hai.

Kartik smiled.

Kartik :- of course khush toh honge hi. Unki princess apna sapna poora karne jaa rahi hai.

Naira smiled.

Naira :- aur isme tumne bhi toh kitni help ki hai meri. Main exam de payi sirf tumhari vajah se, phir tumne bhi toh poori help karti presentation banwane mein. Aur aaj jab papa ne ye presentation dekhi toh vo bahut jyada khush hue. Aur main bhi, I am so happy kartik.

Kartik :- and me too. Chalo, ab itna khushi ka mauka hai toh mithai toh banti hai.

Naira :- haa. Main abhi lekar aayi.

She was about to go but kartik stopped her and again pinned her to the pillar.

Kartik :- kahan jaa rahi ho.

Naira :- tum hi ne toh kaha ki tumhe mithai khaani hai.

Kartik :- haa toh main uss mithai ki baat thodi na kar raha tha.

Naira :- toh phir ?

Kartik gaze shifted to her lips. It stayed there for few seconds before he looked at her again.

Naira understood what he was trying to say.

Naira :- tum na hatho. Mughe kaam hai.

Kartik :- nahi, jab tak mughe meri mithai nahi mil jaati, main nahi jaaonga.

Naira :- kya kartik. Bacho ki tarah zid mat karo. Kisi ne dekh liya toh problem ho jaegi.

Kartik :- ab chahe bacha samgho ya kuch aur. I want my sweet. Aur vaise bhi ek baar ye wali mithai mil jaye toh uske baad toh baaki ki saari mithaiyan pheeki pad jaengi.

Naira blushed slightly.

Kartik cupped her face with one hand, tilting it upwards and and leaned down to kiss her. There lips met.

They didn't know for how long they kissed. By the time they were done, both were in desperate need of air. Naira hugged kartik tightly. Kartik hugged her back.

Naira :- I love you kartik.

Kartik :- I love you too naira.

This was kartik's favourite thing. Having naira in his arms was the best feeling ever. Nothing could compete with that. He couldn't describe the joy, the bliss he felt whenever naira was in his arms. It was very special for him. And kartik loved it. It was the feeling of being complete. As if a part of him had been missing his whole life and now it was finally with him.

Both stayed in each other's arms. Both had smiles on there faces.

But there joy was short-lived when they heard someone's gasps. Both stiffened and separated from each other. They slowly turned sideways to see keerti and gayu standing there. Both of them looking at Kartik and Naira in shock.

Kartik and naira looked at each other not knowing what to say.

Keerti came out of her shock.

Keerti :- ye kya tha ?

Kartik :- keerti, vo...kuch nahi bas.....vo toh...

Keerti :- kya vo vo kar rahe ho. Main koi bacchi hoon, mughe kya kuch samagh nahi aata.

Gayu :- aur naira tum. Vaise toh har baat ka jawab hota hai na tumhare pass, ab batao ye kya ho raha tha.

Kartik and naira looked at each other again, there faces etched with worry.

Gayu and keerti couldn't take it anymore and both bursted out laughing.

Kartik and naira were surprised.

Keerti :- oh god. Tum log apne chehre dekho.

Gayu :- haa, sach mein, aisa lag raha tha ki heart attack aa gaya hai.

Kartik :- matlab, tum dono ko –

Keerti :- aur nahi toh kya. Shak toh mughe pehle se tha, jo teri harkato se aur gehra ho gaya, phir maine gayu se baat ki aur usne mughe sab bataya, hum dono toh bas tumhe range haath pakadna chahte the aur thodi masti karna chahte the. Isliye aisa natak kiya.

Naira :- kya keerti di. Aapke mazak ke chakkar mein hummein heart attack aa jata. Aur gayu di aap, aapko kaise pata chala.

Gayu :- kal jab kartik mamaji ko ghar lekar aaya tha aur uske baad tum dono hall mein the toh maine tumhari saari baatein sun li thi. Tab mughe pata chala.

Naira :- toh phir vo kal dandiya ke time pe aap jo–

Gayu :- vo toh main bas masti kar rahi thi, ye dekhne ke liye tum dono kya bahana banaoge.

Naira :- kya gayu di, aap itni jyada shararti hai, mughe toh idea bhi nahi tha.

Gayu and keerti smiled.

Keerti :-  vaise guys, congratulations. I am so happy for you people.

Gayu :- and me too. And don't worry hum dono kisi ko kuch nahi bataenge. I mean jab tak tum dono taiyyar nahi hote tab tak nahi.

Kartik and naira smiled.

Kartik :- thanks keerti and gayu.

Gayu :- acha, hum dono hall mein jaa rahe hai aur tum bhi aao Ravan Dahan ka time ho raha hai.

Saying that gayu and keerti went from there. Kartik and naira breathed a sigh of relief before naira punched kartik in the shoulder.

Kartik :- owwwwww. Ye kya tha ?

Naira :- thank god ki gayu di aur keerti di the, agar koi aur hota na toh problem ho jaati.

Kartik :- par koi aur tha toh nahi tha na.

Naira glared at him.

Kartik :- thik hai, main try karoonga dobara aise romance na karoon.

Naira :- try ??

Kartik :- haa. Kyun ki maine kaha na ki tumhe dekh kar dil par kaabo nahi rehta. Aur mein kaboo rakhna chahta bhi nahi hoon.

Naira smiled at kartik. She kissed him on the cheek.

Naira :- aur agar koshish bhi ki na toh main naraz ho jaaongi.

Kartik just smiled and embraced her again.

Kartik :- I love you Naira.

Naira :- I love you too Kartik.

Don't know what's wrong with Mohsin Khan, he has gone very private. He removed almost 9-10 of him and Shivangi in the last few days from insta. Don't know whether he deleted it or archived it. I just hope everything is fine. It's ok if he doesn't want to add anything new at least he shouldn't remove the old pics. It worries KaiRa and Shivin fans.

Guys, my College is starting soon so I don't know how regularly I will update. I am not abandoning the story, I just don't know how often I'll get the time to write and update, but I will surely update it and finish this story.
