The atmosphere in the Maheshwari house was sombre. Kartik had just left. He had been staying with them for one month. Everyone had thought that he was nephew of Mr. Kohli but the truth had come out today. Mr. Kohli had deceived all of them. Naira and naksh had said a lot of hurtful words to kartik which they regretted after the truth had come out. Even though akshara had tried to stop kartik, he still left. They had also told Mr. Kohli to leave the house.

Everyone was standing quietly. The two most affected persons were mishti and Rajshri. During his stay he had gotten close with both of them. Suddenly someone's phone rang. It was of gayu which was with Mishti. Gayu had wanted to stop kartik but didn't have the courage. Mishti picked up the phone and saw it was Naitik. She picked it up and put it on speaker.

Mishti :- hello tauji.

Naitik :- haa mishti. Beta. Kaisi ho ??

Mishti :- mein thik hoon tauji.

Naitik sensed something was wrong.

Naitik :- kya hua mishti? Itna dull kyun sound kar rahi ho?

Mishti :- tauji. Actually hum nani ke ghar pe hain–

Naitik :- arey. Tum maa ke ghar pe ho. Kartik bhi hoga. Meri baat karana uss se. Kuch important baat karni hai.

Everyone looked at each other.

Mishti :- tauji. Actually vo hua ye ki–

Slowly misthi told him everything.

Naitik shouted :- kya ? Mishti, phone speaker pe hai ?

Mishti :- ji tauji.

Naitik :- naira, naksh. Dimaag kharaab ho gaya tha tum dono ka. Na socha, na samgha, jo jee mein aaya bolte chale gaye. Kam se kam uski baat sun toh lete ek baari. Kya yahi sikhaya gaya hai tum dono ko. Ye kya baat hui adhi adhuri baat sunte hi dusre pe ilzaam lagana shuru kar diya. Tum log aisi harkat karoge ye toh mein kabhi soch bhi nahi sakta tha. Aur akshara aap, apne roka nahi inhe jab ye dono usse itna kuch keh rahe the. Vo toh shukar hai ki apne kartik ki baat sun li varna ye dono toh mughe uske samne muh dikhane layak bhi nahi chodte.

Everyone was shocked especially naksh and naira. Naitik sounded angry, very angry. Ever since she had come back, it was the first time she was hearing such tone from Naitik.

Naksh :- papa. Par usne humse juth kaha–

Naitik :- chup ho jao tum. Sach tumhe bhi pata hai aur mughe bhi. Dokha kohli ji ne diya tha usse bhi aur baaki sabko bhi. Kartik ne mughe pehle hi sab kuch bata diya tha.

Everyone was shocked again.

Akshara :- matlab, Naitik aapko pehle se hi sab pata tha.

Naitik :- haa akshara. Mughe pata tha. Aur maine hi ussey sach chipane ko kaha tha kyun ki jiss din ussey ye baat pata chali uss din bauji ki tabiyat kharab ho gayi thi aur ghar mein shaadi ka mahol hai. Aur vaise bhi vo 2-3 dino mein jaane hi vaala tha. Usse phele vo khud hi sach batane vaala tha.

Everyone was quiet.

Akshara :- Naitik. Aap please shaant ho jaiye.

Naitik :- arey kaise shaant ho jaaon mein. Kaise? Kya aapko idea bhi hai ki naira aur naksh ki bewakoofi ki vajah se meri do saalo ki mehnat par Paani fir gaya hai.

Everyone was confused.

Akshara :- do saalo ki mehnat ? Matlab ?

Naitik :- Akshara. Kya aapko pata hai ki kartik kaun hai. Uska poora naam kya hai. Uski pehchaan. Vo kiska beta hai. Vo yahan isliye aaya tha kyun ki maine uss se request kari thi. Aur vo bhi sirf ek mahine ke liye. Aaj vaise bhi uska office mein aakhri din tha.

Akshara :- Naitik aap please poori baat saaf saaf kahiye.

Naitik :- kartik ka poora naam kartik goenka hai. Goenka empire. The business tycoon Kartik Goenka. The business tycoon Manish Goenka ka beta. The Buisness tycoon Akhilesh Goenka ka bhatija.

Akshara was shocked. Not only her, but her father, father in law and Shaurya were also shocked. Even naksh was shocked. They came near the phone. Rest were confused.

Raj shekhar :- Naitik beta. Kartik –

Akshara :- Naitik. Hummein kartik se baat karni hogi. Duggu aur naira –

Naitik :- koi zaroorat nahi hai un dono ki. Kartik se baat mein karoonga aur maafi bhi mein hi maangonga.

Saying that he cut the call. Everyone looked at each other. It was Devyani who spoke.

Devyani :- Akshara beta. Naitik kya keh raha tha. Goenka –

Akshara :- choti maa. Goenka empire. India ke jaane maane aur bahut hi bade businesses mein se ek hai. Yahan tak ki kai saari foreign countries mein bhi unka business hai. Har tarah ka business karte hai vo log jaise ki Gems, hotels, medicines, aviation, restaurants, technology aur bhi bahut kuch. Bahut hi bade log hai. Manish Goenka and Akhilesh Goenka ko sab pehchante hai par kartik ko jyada tar sirf vahi log jaante hai jo uss se personally miley ho kyun ki vo bahut kam baari camera ke saamne aaya hai.

Everyone was shocked at hearing that especially naira. Akshara didn't know what to do. Naitik was upset because of naksh and naira. She just hoped everything would be alright.

Kartik was in a cab going home. He was hurt. For some reasons it hurt more because even naira accused him. He was sitting quietly when his phone rang. He looked and saw it was Naitik. He picked it up.

Kartik :- hello.

Naitik :- kartik beta. I am so sorry.

Kartik :- arey nahi nahi sir. Aap kyun sorry bol rahe hai.

Naitik :- nahi beta. Sach kahoon toh mughe un dono se ye ummed nahi thi. Beta un dono ki taraf se mein maafi mangta hoon.

Kartik :- arey sir please. Aap Sharminda mat kijiye. Ek taraf beta bhi keh rahe hai aur dusri taraf maafi bhi maang rahe hai. Sach kahoon toh mughe bura laga par dekha jaaye toh kahin na kahin ismein galti meri bhi thi. Mughe pehle hi unhe sach bata dena chahiye tha.

Naitik :- kartik. Tum toh kehna chahte the par maine hi tumhe–

Kartik :- sir. uss baat ko bhool jaaiye. Aur haa deal ki aap bilkul chinta mat kijiyega. Family matters ki vajah se kabhi buisness mein problem nahi aaegi.

Naitik :- tum ho toh koi chinta nahi hai. Thank you beta.

Kartik :- it's ok sir. And no thank you.

Kartik and Naitik ended the call and kartik reached Goenka villa. He smiled and paid the cab person. He reached the doors where the security immediately recognised him and opened the gate and took his luggage. As soon as he entered he saw luv kush playing football.

Kartik :- acha bachu. Mere bina hi.

Luv kush looked at kartik and ran towards him.

L&k :- kartik bhaiyya.

Kartik hugged both of them and picked them up.

Kartik :- kaise hai mere noodles ?

Luv :- ache hai.

Kush :- humne aapko bahut miss kiya.

Kartik :- maine bhi tumhe bahut miss kiya.

Kartik put them down and went inside with both of them. Full family was sitting there in the living hall.

Kartik :- lagta kisi ko meri yaad nahi aati.

Everyone was delighted when they heard his voice.

Dadi :- KITTU!!

Mansi came running and hugged him.

Mansi :- bhaiyya.

Slowly everyone came and hugged him and lastly it was dadi.

Dadi :- mera bacha.

Dadi cried as she hugged him. Kartik smiled.

Kartik :- dadi.

Dadi smiled and separated from him. Everyone sat as they talked.

Kartik told his family everything about what had transpired earlier today. Initially they were angry but understood once kartik explained that even he hid the truth and then Naitik's apology.

It was evening when some servants brought some suitcases down. Kartik knew the reason. Akhilesh and Surekha were going to USA for his dream project. Luv kush and mansi would be staying back due to there school and college respectively.

Everyone got up to say bye to both of them. L&k hugged there parents.

Akhilesh :- luv kush jyada tang mat karna kisi ko bhi.

Swarna :- arey koi baat nahi Akhilesh ji. Bacche hai.

Everyone hugged them and dadi did nazar of them.

Kartik came at last to hug them.

Kartik :- chachu. Apna haath aage badaiye.

Akhilesh :- kyun ? Kya hua ?

Kartik :- arey kariye toh.

Everyone was confused. Akhilesh brought forward his right hand. Kartik untied the nazarbandh taweez from his hand and tied it on Akhilesh's hand. Akhilesh tried to stop him.

Akhilesh :- kartik. Ye tu kya kar raha hai.

Kartik :- kuch nahi chachu. Ye hamare purkho ki nishani hai. Dada Ji ke baad papa ko aur uss accident ke baad dadi ne ye mere ko diya tha. Iss ummed mein ki mein successful ho paao aur aaj aap apne dream project ki shuruwat karne jaa rahe hai. Isliye iski zaroorat mughse jyada aapko hai.

Everyone's mood shifted when kartik talked about that accident. The accident which almost destroyed the Goenka family. Akhilesh looked at kartik and hugged him. Everyone looked at them.

Akhilesh :- bhagwan karey ki tere jaisa bacha har parivaar mein ho.

Everyone smiled seeing that. After sometime Akhilesh and Surekha left. Kartik was playing with luv kush, and mansi in the garden when he received a call. It was gayu. He knew who was calling him from gayu's phone. He picked it up.

Kartik :- hello meri beautiful si gf.

Mishti :- hi bf.

Kartik :- kya hua? Meri gf itni sad kyun hai.

Mishti :- aapko pata hai kyun.

Kartik sighed.

Kartik :- mishti–

Voice :- hello. Kartik bhaiyya.

Kartik :- rose ?

Rose and Yash had come to the Singhaniya house in the evening along with there families. It was then they got to know what had happened. Rose had immediately demanded to talk to kartik. Mishti had called kartik and put the phone on speaker. Everyone in the Singhaniya house was listening.

Rose :- kartik bhaiyya. I wanna meet you.

Kartik :- rose–

Rose :- bhaiyya please. You are my brother and I want you to attend the wedding.

Yash :- haa kartik please. Acha ye batao tum ho kahan ?

Kartik :- mein apne ghar pe.

Yash :- par itni jaldi tum ghar kaise. ek min. Tum yahin udaipur mein hi rahte ho?

Kartik :- haa.

Everyone was shocked. If kartik lived here only then why was he staying as a pg ?

Yash :- hummein tumse milna hai.

Kartik :- abhi ?

Yash :- haa.

Kartik :- Yash. Ek kaam karte hai. Abhi already bahut der ho chuki hai. Kal milley shaam ko? Kya tum logo mere ghar aa sakte ho kal shaam ko around 5 to 6 ?

Rose and Yash looked at each other and nodded.

Rose :- okay. Kartik bhaiyya. We'll meet you tomorrow.

Kartik :- okay.

Kartik disconnected.

The Singhaniya's looked at each other.

Mishti :- Bhaiyaa kal mein bhi chaloongi aapke saath.

Akshara :- aur mein bhi.

Naksh :- lekin maa–

Akshara :- bas duggu. Tumhare papa aaj bahut jyada naraz the. Itne lambay time baad vo is qadar naraz hue hai.

Naira was quiet. She didn't know what to do or what to say. She had said a lot of hurtful things to him. She knew she needed to apologise. Her father was extremely angry because of what had transpired. This was the first time Naitik had scolded her since coming back. She had acted impulsively and now the whole family was sad.

She had been wrong to judge him. Ever since he had come he had only helped them. She had been shocked when akshara had told everyone about the Goenka's. There wasn't a single ounce of pride in him even after belonging to such rich family. She just hoped for everything to become alright especially for her father's sake.
