Finally the weekend. I thought.

I bump into someone and go to tell them off but when I look up I see Crystal.

She has bags under her eyes and looks tired.

"Are you okay?" I ask.

"Just get out of my way." She says as she pushes past me.

What the hell just happened! I wondered.

"Mom!" I call out in the house.

"Yes, Sweetheart?" She asks.

"Why don't you just leave him?" I ask.

"I love him and I am not giving up on him just yet. You'll understand why when you find someone worth never giving up on." She says as she walks out my room.

I hope she comes today. I thought.

"Hello? Dude you okay?" Miles asks.

"Yeah. I'm just dandy." I say sarcastically.

"Woah. Talk to me when your not being a pain in the ass." He says as he walks away.

Her absence is affecting my mood. I just miss her smile and her laugh. My life feels incomplete with out her. I think.

"Knock knock"

"Who is knocking at this time of the night? I wonder.

I open the door and saw two police officers standing there.

"Um...Can I help you?" I ask.

"Yes you can. Have you seen Crystal Stone around here? She has gone missing." He asks.

What!??? I thought.

"How long ago has she been missing?" I ask politely.

"4 days young man." He says.

That explains why she wasn't at school today or the days before. I thought.

"No officer I haven't seen her." I tell him.

"Well if you do please give us a call." He tells me as he gives me a card.

I close the door and wonder.
