Although I have participated in only one writing prompt on Wattpad, I have never done the Open Novella Contest (ONC). 

It wasn't until I read through the 80+ prompts that I realized I needed to participate!

Similar to NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month, ONC invites participants to write a Novella in three months.  Choosing a prompt, participants must reach three goals along the way along with other criteria. 

What this means is that your beloved, very distracted and scattered brained, author will be finishing a new story before summer gets here!

The prompt that called to me was the 1st:

"When a giant monster chases you, all you can do is throw a stick and hope they'd play fetch"

Finders Keepers

Habitual in making a mess of almost every situation, Sadie Monroe thinks she can outthink and outrun anything. Her magic is as unruly as she is but with a powerful mentor, she has learned more control. The problem is Sadie has little control when it comes to her own truths and mistrust.

With a rare offer of assistance, Sadie is faced with an undeniable advantage. The problem with the advantage is that he is over six feet of sexy, demonic, trouble she wanted to avoid.

When he keeps her from using her usual tricks, will she be able to learn her lesson?
