Chapter 2: The Dragon and the Barbarian Prince
You opened your eyes, groaning in pain. There was a sharp pounding in your head. The world seemed to spin around you. You closed your eyes once again to keep yourself from getting sick.
"Hey, are you alright?" A voice asked. You opened your eyes once again. What you saw in front of you, was a man standing in front of you. He had bright red hair, a mouthful of sharp teeth, and deep, ruby-colored eyes. What terrified you the most, were the vibrant, crimson wings sprouting from his back, pointed ears, and the large horns protruding from his forehead. A long, thick, red tail hung just above his backside, sweeping the grasslands below his feet. The stranger had a look of concern in his eyes. "Uh, your head's bleeding," the stranger said. You could feel your eyes starting to droop again. "Hey, can you keep your eyes open?" Your eyes snapped open again when someone snapped their fingers in front of your face. The stranger smiled. "There we go," he held up three fingers. "Can you see how me? How many fingers am I holding up?" The stranger asked. Once your vision cleared, your eyes grew wide in fear. You were terrified. He was like nothing you had ever seen before in your own world. Your breathing picked up and you screamed, trying to crawl away form the terrifying stranger. But your head was spinning, and you didn't get far before you collapsed onto the ground again. The pain in your body was too much. The stranger walked up to you. "Uh, hey! You shouldn't move so much! You're hurt!" The stranger said with concern. You closed your eyes and whimpered.
"P-Please," you whimpered, making the stranger stop. "P-Please, don't hurt me." You said. The stranger's eyes seemed to soften. He slowly walked over and knelt beside you, resting a gentle hand on your shoulder, making you open your eyes and look at him. The stranger smiled kindly.
"Hey," he said gently. "Don't be scared. I'm not gonna hurt you," the stranger said. As you stared at him, you couldn't help but feel like you could trust this person, despite the way he looked. The stranger then frowned. "Uh, why are you out here in the middle of a field anyway?" The stranger asked. You looked at him.
"I-I fell from the sky." You explained. The stranger blinked in slight confusion.
"You fell from the sky?" He then leaned forward and started sniffing at you. He pulled back and hummed. "Hmm. You don't smell like a dragon. Can you fly?" He asked. You shook your head as best you could without causing pain.
"N-No. I don't think so." You said. You looked up at the sky. "I, I think I was transported here. By a book with a gem inside." You said. The stranger sat back on his heels and hummed.
"A book with a gem inside? Hmm. That sounds like magic to me. Powerful magic at that." He said. He looked over and saw the gem from the book that you had found in the library.
"Oh," he picked the gem up. "Is this what you're talking about?" He asked. You nodded in confirmation. The stranger hummed and nodded. "Yeah. This is probably what did it. Just holding it I can sense the magic. It's pretty potent," he then picked up the book and opened the pages. He nodded. "I see where it fits. Let me just," he put the gem back into place. He smiled. He then walked over and helped you slowly sit up, allowing you to lean on him so that you didn't fall over. He then placed the book in your lap. "You should hold onto this tightly, traveler." The stranger said. "It wouldn't be a good idea to lose it." He said. You looked at him.
"[Y/N]." You said. The stranger looked at you.
"Huh?" He asked.
"[Y/N]. That's my name. You can call me that instead of Traveler." You said. The stranger smiled.
"[Y/N]," he said, as if testing the name. He then smiled a big smile. "I like the sound of that! It's an amazing name!" He said. He smiled down at you. "Well, [Y/N], my name is Eijiro Kirishima. It's nice to meet you." He said.

"Ahoy! Blasty!" Kirishima called. He had offered to give you a piggy-back ride to where he was camped. He had explained that it wasn't safe to be alone when it got dark, as monsters would come and eat any unfortunate traveler. The idea frightened you, but Kirishima had told you not to worry. He wouldn't let anything hurt you. Kirishima walked up to the camp where his traveling companion, Bakugou, was waiting. "I'm back! I, uh, didn't quite manage to kill anything for us. But I did find this!" Kirishima said, his voice as cheery as ever.
And that, that's when you first met the Barbarian Prince himself. Katsuki Bakugou. To say he intimidated you was an understatement. He straight terrified you! He was a male, almost the same height as Kirishima. He was shirtless, a deep red cloak with fur lining the top of it hung around his shoulders. He had spiky, blonde hair and a look that could kill.
You were a dizzy, bloody mess, clinging to Kirishima's back as helpless as an infant. Needless to say, Bakugou was pissed that Kirishima, or, Shitty Scales, one of Bakugou's many nicknames for Kirishima, had dragged you back instead of a kill.
Bakugou glared at Kirishima, his red eyes boring into the dragon's figure.
"Oi! The hell did I say about bringing in strays, Stupid Lizard? Drop them," he drew his sword. "Now." Bakugou growled. Kirishima frowned, not letting go of you.
"Bakugou, hold on, wait a minute!" Kirishima said, trying to reason with the hot headed blonde. You were shaking in fright, staring at the male before you in fear. He was the exact opposite of Kirishima. He was angry, and didn't seem particularly pleased that Kirishima had brought you to his camp. Bakugou narrowed his eyes.
"I said, drop them, now Kirishima." Bakugou said again, taking a step forward. Kirishima took a step back.
"They're hurt, Bakugou! i can't just drop them! Put your sword away. They're not gonna hurt anyone." Kirishima said. Bakugou glared even harder at Kirishima.
"Huh? They could be poacher or a damn thief! Look at these clothes! The hell are they wearing? They don't look like they're from around here." Bakugou said. Kirishima sighed. Bakugou could be stubborn as hell when he wanted to be. Kirishima turned serious.
"Bakugou, please," he sighed again. "I made a promise to you. To follow you to the ends of the earth. I made that oath to you and I'll never go back on it. You have my full devotion," Kirishima said. He looked at his best friend. "But right now, I need you to trust me. Please, put your sword away. [Y/N] needs our help. And you're right. They aren't from around here. Sheathe your sword and I'll explain more." He said. Bakugou growled and narrowed his eyes.
"Kirishima. If this goes wrong even once, I'll cut your gods' damn tail off!" Bakugou growled. Kirishima nodded calmly.
"And I'll let you, My Prince," Kirishima said. Your eyes widened.
'What the hell?! This guy is a prince?!' You thought to yourself. Bakugou huffed and nodded.
"Fine." He sheathed his sword and walked back towards the fire. Not only were you in a completely different world, but you were also with a man who wouldn't hesitate to kill you. This was going to be a tough one to get out of.

//Sorry that this one is short as well. I have to pack for going to see a concert this weekend, which I am super excited about! Since no one commented on whether or not the Reader should be given powers, I decided to make the Reader be without powers, to fit the original series made by Yuzuya.
I do not own the series created by Yuzuya. I do not own any of the My Hero Academia characters. I do not own any pictures, gifs, or screenshots used in the story. I do not own You. You belong to You.//
