You don't have to say exactly what happened - I mean you don't have to give details - because you & That Person know what happened perfectly - so you may just say something like: 

1. I want to apologize ( the username of this person ) for the Misunderstanding we had

or 2. I want to apologize you ( the username ) for what I said ( because you both know what you said so such a general message would be enough )

You may also add 'I'm really sorry', 'I miss you, 'I Still Want to Be Your Friend' - or something like that.
