Aya Sarashina

TRIGGER WARNING: THIS CHAPTER WILL CONTAIN ABUSE AND CURSING, ONLY AT THE END THOUGH. DON'T LIKE DON'T READ

"Maybe it was meant to totally happen" the voice had said, staying in the dark, Kayana shot up, now fully awake "Que?" She asked and grabbed a handgun "Who are you?" Kayana questioned again.

The voice replied: "Jeez man...take a chill pill" not taking any more of these games got irritated and commanded the voice to show itself. "Nah I kinda like the shadows...but that is one bad handgun!" The voice sounded sarcastically scared.

She got tired of this argument, "I'll use it! What's your name?" The voice denied telling her name once again in an old fashioned way "Names aren't important. Like they're not REALLY important. It's just a thing people use to call you. A rose by any other name is just as sweet."

Kayana sighed and asked if she knew the person the voice belonged to and the voice said that she maybe, actually, did. Kayana asked if she had guessed right, that the voice would come out and the voice agreed.

'Third time's the charm' Kayana thought as she guessed a final time with a question. "Was I close when I guessed Mya?"

"If you change one letter you'd hit the donkey on the nose" 'okay, she talks like she's Hiro... and there's gonna be a new character.... but she needs to learn this...'

"Okay, this is 2017, not the 60s. Is your name Aya?"

"Okay, first of all, I don't do 60s dude, I do 80s. Second, of all, the 80s were so clutch so nya. But at least you got the name right"

Kayana denied the fact that the 80s were so great "What's up?" She asked, with Aya sarcastically answering "Well, the sky is up" Kayana sighed, trying not to tear Aya apart "why are you here?" Kayana asked trying to keep calm.

"...I was just in the neighborhood" Kayana stood up "Okay, where do you live? I'll take you home"

Aya didn't give a straight answer "I live...in a place..." Noticing the pauses, grabbing her jacket "Does this place have an address?" Aya nodded "Hm, oh yeah! Probably!"

"Are you planning on telling me the address or do I have to guess" Kayana opened the door and waited for Aya to go out first. Aya told Kayana that it was fine and Kayana looked to her

"Aren't your parents worried about you? Let's go and you tell me on the way" Aya didn't move "Nah, my dad's chill"

Kayana sighed and motioned towards the open door "Let's just go you baka" Aya walked out the door

Kayana's POV

I reminded Aya that it was 2017 and not 1980. Insisting that her dad likes the 80s led me to one possible conclusion who her dad was. Hiro Sarashina

"I know one person like that. Please tell me your dad's name isn't Hiro" Aya grins proudly "Yup, Aya Sarashina at your service, m'lady"

I cried a little to myself "Taking a wild guess here but you don't by chance live in a really bad orphanage?" She responded with attitude "Duh, why do you think I'm here airhead?"

I screamed in my head 'WHY?! JUST WHY?!' I looked to her with an irk mark on my head "Why you little...."  I thought more to myself 'That's it I need help' I write on a notepad "Mya appears at the gate of the orphanage."

We get up to the gate and Mya is waiting there, acting like I didn't know about Mya being there "Is Mya there?" She looked up for a moment.

"Yes, Mya is just busy!" Aya looked to Mya "Hey, she new?"

Curiosity got the better of me and I asked: "What is Mya busy with?" I then looked to Aya and answered her question.

"Yes, she's my best friend Mya" I turned my head back to Mya when she answered with 'schoolwork' and Aya said "Hm. Right on."

I sighed and told Aya to go stand beside Mya so that I wouldn't have to keep turning my head and give myself a headache.

She walked over to Mya and my eyes drifted to Mya "In front of an orphanage?" I sigh "Mya is strange." I look at Aya "Okay, you want me to walk in with you or stay out here?" I ask

Aya shrugs and told me "Whatever you want" and I look to her seriously "Stay in contact with me, okay Aya?"

Aya scoffed "Yeah I know where you live remember?" That line got me irritated and I looked at Mya

"Mya, you hear what she's saying right?" Mya nodded "Yeah"

"Okay kid, inside. Hop to it" Mya gave me a look and took a pause before saying, "...I'm older than you..."

I reassured Mya that I was, in fact, talking to Aya. I looked to Aya again and then asked: "how old are you?"

She went into this long detailed, but not necessary, description before telling me her age at the end

"I...have lived on this earth for a while now. Long enough to grow knowledgeable yet young enough to still be naive. I may have the face and mentality of a baby, but my wisdom reaches far past the age of an adult with a fully developed brain... I'm 16. Almost 17!"

"Oh, so we're around the same age. Now go inside Sarashina" I ordered with a smirk on my face.

Aya's POV

As soon as I got scolded by Nalita "Baka! Where have you been?"

I replied by greeting her with a smile "Oh, hey Nal" Nalita asked again only with a more concerned face "Where were you Aya?"

Miki walked in around that time "You should be glad she isn't here and I am"

"Miki, what's the 411?" I asked in worry a bit, she just sighed and explained that she was getting drunk again, then told me and Nalita to help her get the children to bed before she came back. I didn't have a great feeling already.

Later that night I heard the door slam open and she yells "Miki you little bitch. Get your ass down here!"

Miki's POV

I slowly walk downstairs to deal with her drunk self. "Yes?" I ask quietly, for her to only grab my hair and throw me, then yell at me.

"Where the hell is everyone?!"

I reply weakly: "In bed..." I see Aya sneaking in the shadows when my attention got brought back to in front of me when I got slapped.

"I slave away for them! And they're in bed!" She threw a punch to my stomach wich made me cough up blood. I was nearly in tears but I held them back when Aya caught her attention.

"Hey, bimbette! Quit buggin' will ya!" I looked to Aya with the best brave face I could "Aya. Bed. Go there."

Aya refused and I held back more tears, the caretaker laughed as I yelled "Aya! Now!"

The caretaker focused her attention me once more and continued to hit me, she refused once again and that was the breaking point for me and I slowly stood up grabbing onto whatever I could to help me up to show her that I was somewhat okay.

"Fine. Go find him. Tell him I sent you"
