The day passes really fast and now the siblings were back home. Today was uneventful for them as they calibrate the puzzles and play in the snow. Sofia was dead tired after being running around outside and was sleeping in Papyrus arms. Papyrus put Sofia to her room as Blasty lazily nuzzle Sofia's sleepy body.

Sans sit down to the couch and sigh. He couldn't stop thinking of what his parents said about the possibility of a human fell down the underground. He hopes the human was good like his mom not like the other one... He shakes his head again and gets up on the couch.

"Paps I am going to Grillby's" sans said.

"BE SURE TO BE HOME ON TIME!!" Papyrus said as he went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Sans teleport not in front of Grillby's but in front of the big purple door that leads to the ruins. He looks at it for a moment before he sighs and knocks at the door. Two years ago, he went there to get away from the sentry since sitting for far too long would lead him to sleep at work and a nagging papyrus that he is being lazy at work. He uses the door to practice some knock-knock jokes to make his mom and sister laugh but also irritate papyrus and his dad. He soon found out there was someone on the other side of the door as they start making jokes with them. The lady on the other side of the door was also good at making puns and jokes so they became pun buddy. However... One of the days he meets up with her she was less lively and didn't laugh that much of the joke. As sans ask her what happen, the lady of the other side asks him to promise him something he didn't think she would ask.

" If a human passes the door... Will you protect them?"

He didn't know what to said at the time. He could have promised it but his trust over humans is not a hundred percent there. He mostly trusts his mom but that's about it.

He snaps out of his thought as he hears the heavy footsteps coming near.

"Oh sans! I didn't aspected you to come today." The lady said.

"Heh. I didn't think to come today but I feel like I must come." Sans said as he leans his back to the door.

"Why did you think so?"

"Because I have a joke to said and thought that would be humerus to tell you"

"Pff please pray tell the joke, my friend."

"Knock-knock"

"Who's there?"

"Is"

"Is who?"

"Is there a human that fell today?" Sans said as his white pupils disappear from his eye sockets.

The lady gasp but didn't respond for a while. He waits patiently for her to respond to his question.

"Yes... There is a human that fell down... But they are just a child!" The lady said quickly.

"Heh. So mom was right..." He mumbles to himself.

"Sans you have to protect them from the others! I fear they would hurt or kill the child!" The lady said with a shaking voice.

"Heh. Even a human child can be dangerous..." Sans said.

"Please sans! You shouldn't judge them before you know them first! The child is really sweet and forgiving." She said.

There was a moment of silence between them. After a good minute, sans sighs before he gets up.

"Ok I will try to protect them," Sans said finally said.

"You will?" Surprise of the change of tone of her friend.

"Yup, but if they do any funny business... I wouldn't show them any mercy." Sans said with a serious tone as he put his hands on the pocket of his hoodie.

"Thank you sans..." The lady said sigh of relief.

"When the human going out of the ruins?" He said.

"The child is injured and needs a few days to recover..." She said.

"Ok... See you in a few days," Sans said before he teleports himself back in front of the house. He sighs again and frowns of his discovery.

Should I tell mom and dad? But I dunno if the human would be a friend or a foe... Sans thought. He was such a deep thought when he enters the house that he didn't hear his father calling him.

"Sans? Sans!" Gaster said as he shakes his son's shoulder. Sans snap out of his thought.

"What?" He said confused looking at his dad.

"I am calling you for a while now. Is everything alright?" Gaster said.

"Oh! I was just over the moon" he winks at his dad. Gaster rolls his eyes not impress of his joke.

"What? The joke, not humerus enough to tickle your funny bones?" Sans said chuckle at his own joke.

"Sans..."

"Yup that's my name," Sans said grinning at his dad. Gaster facepalms his face.

"You know what? Nevermind." Gaster said as he walks away from his son. He went to check Papyrus in the kitchen. Sans chuckles a bit and when to sit on the couch and open the T.V. There was nothing great on the screen but it's just for the shake of not thinking anymore of the human that is soon coming out of the ruins. Maybe a nap is what I need... He thought before he closes his eyesockets and went to sleep.

~Meanwhile~

Alice and Alphys are starting the machine after a check-up. They finally see if the new theory that Alice and Gaster came out would be fruitless.

"Alright, Alphys. Seem like the first phase went well. Start phase two!" She said.

"Y-y-yes b-boss!" Alphys said as she presses some buttons. The light and the energy emitting on the machine start to change and it's become concentrated in one direction. They both wait for the light to stabilize itself as it ends up in like a small ball in the middle of the stabilizer tube.

"Alphys... Prepare for phase three!" Alice quickly said. If we manage to passe phase 3... We will be able to create a SOUL. Alice thought. She tries to contain her excitement as she must concentrate on the final phase. It's now and never! She thought. Alice press the final switch and an explosion of light and electric static came out of the ball. Both of them cover their eyes and wait for the light to lower down.

After the machine stops running, they look up and saw in the tube a floating red soul in the middle of it.

"Alphys... I think we did it!" Alice said excitingly. She jumps up and down before she went and hug the shy Dino who blushes deeper of the sudden contact.

"Y-y-yes w-we d-did it b-boss!" Alphys said also happy that the experimentation turns out well. Both of the scientists check out the State of the SOUL and make sure it was stable.

After the check-up, they both satisfied the result that came out.

"Alright! We will try tomorrow if Chara will accept the SOUL" Alice said.

"W-w-why not now?" Alphys said confuse

"We have been doing it all morning and it's almost dinner time. Let's call the day and get some rest. I want to make sure that everything is going well," Alice said.

"O-o-oh ok... T-then s-s-see y-you t-tomorrow boss!" Alphys said as she put disconnect the machine but keep on open which is the monitor that is checking their newly SOUL they made a moment ago.

"See you," Alice said as she leaves the room and went to the office and put her winter stuff inside her inventory and change her work shoes for her boots.

She looks the office and went toward home.

~time skip~

"I am home!" Alice said as she takes out her coat and scarf.

"WELCOME HOME MOTHER!" Papyrus said.

"Welcome back ma" sans said on the couch.

"Welcome home mommy!" Sofia Said as she go hug her.

"Hey, sweety did your brothers take good care of you?" Alice said,

"Yes, they did! We play some snowballs fight, snas give me a hotcat and...! " Sofia starts to say as she rambling about her day. Alice would smile and listen to the story she was saying. Soon after, Papyrus call for dinner and Alice saw Gaster mumbling in his paperwork at the kitchen table. Bitting his pencil with his mouth, he keeps focusing on his paper at hand when he feels a pair of arms around his shoulders. He looks at the side and smiles.

"Hey, you," She said before she gives a kiss to his left cheekbones.

"Welcome home, hon," Gaster said nuzzling her cheek. Alice giggles before she sits down at the table.

After the meals, the Gaster family decide to watch a movie and relax for the rest of the afternoon.

After Gaster put Sofia to bed, he went back to the master bedroom where he saw Alice exit their personal bathroom on her nightgown. Which it's a purple silk dress that stops mid-thigh with thin straps. It's rare that Alice wears it when they are in Snowdin.  What is she up to? Gaster thought. He approaches her wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Anything special happens?" He said.

"hmm? I guess there is!" Alice said chuckles.

"So?"

"We did it..." Alice said looking up to her husband.

"Did what?"

"We create a SOUL. A human SOUL" Alice said with a big grin. Gaster's eyesockets widen.

"You guys did it?"

"No...WE did it, love. If it was not for your assistance Alphys and I would be stuck on phase two." She kisses Gaster on his lips. Gaster smiles at her.

"I see and the outfit?" He said glancing at her up and down.

"Oh! I just wanted to celebrate it... Just the two of us," Blush a little but keep eyes contacts with her husband. Gaster takes aback of her suggestion but ending up smirking at her.

"I like where it's going~," he said in a teasing tone. Alice blush redder but still holds her gaze to him.

"Shut up!" She said with a pout. Suddenly, Gaster kisses her with passion. Which end up of Alice squeals in surprise. She kisses him back as she starts to relax her shoulders. They slightly pull away to allow Alice to breathe.

"Let's celebrate the rest of the night in bed~," Gaster said as his eyesockets start to glow purple and yellow. Alice let a sharp breath and could feel the heat coming out of her lower body. Gaster makes sure the door looked with his magic as he put Alice on the bed.

~time skip~

Alice's dream

Alice ends up in a sitting position surrounding by a batch of buttercups flowers. It was the usual dream she gets when she is about to meet her ghost friend. Sans hate the fact her mom has made a deal with the demon but Alice sees a potential ally from the ghost child. She waits for a moment when she feels the change of air of this dull place.

"WeIRd HuMAn..." the voice from behind Alice said. She could help but smile.

"Hey, long time no see..." She turns around toward her visitor. "Chara"
