Today was a typical morning as always in the Gaster's Household. Papyrus, as an early bird he is, wake up first. He will go and prepare breakfast for everyone which was indeed spaghetti. The second one to wake up was Sofia. She and her blaster, Blasty, drag their way toward the kitchen.

"Mowning papy!" Sofia said with her sleepy voice.

"MORNING LITTLE SISTER! HOPE YOU SLEEP GOOD!" Papyrus said.

"Mhm, I sweep good," Sofia said putting her head on the dinner table. Then she looks around and peeks up.

"Where is mom, dad and snas?" Sofia said.

"MOTHER AND FATHER ARE STILL IN BED THEY HAVE BEING WORKING OVERNIGHT... AGAIN." Papyrus said sighing as he keeps cooking.

"AS FOR SANS... HE IS A LAZYBONES AND SHOULD HAVE BEING AWAKE MINUTES AGO NYEH!" Papyrus said.

"I will go wake him up!" Sofia said jumping off the chair and run toward sans's room with Blasty following her.

"PLEASE DO!" Papyrus said.

Sofia enters quietly inside the room as she spots her brother sleeping figure in the bed well more like a mattress. She tip-top toward him until she was right beside his bed.

"Snas! Snas! Wake up!" Sofia said as she tries to shake him with her tiny arms and hands. However, sans didn't budge at all. Sofia pouts a bit and starts climbing his bed.

"Snas! Wake up!" Sofia said as she slaps her tiny hands on her brother's face. He mumbles something but just turns on the side showing his back to his sister. She sighs a bit and glances at Blasty who was floating around them the whole time.

"What should I do Blasty? Snas doesn't want to wake up." She said frown a bit. Blasty looks at her for a moment before he floats out of the room. He came back a minute after with a bucket full of water. He floats on the top of sans and threw the water. Sans wakes up instantly.

"Who?! What?!" Sans said with his eye sockets wide open. He looks around before he eyes down himself and then looks at Sofia and Blasty who was still holding the now-empty bucket.

"Mowning snas!" She said lifting her arms up.

"What the hell sis! Why did you wake me like that." He said narrowing his eyes at her.

"You didn't wake up when I call! And it was Blasty idea!" She said playing with her hands and looking down. Sans sigh a bit and get up. He pats Sofia's head.

"I am not angry at you sis. I just don't want to be drowned to DEATH first thing in the morning." He said chuckling a bit. Sofia blinks twice before she registers the pun and starts giggles.

"Get change! Papy is almost ready with the foods!" Sofia said as she runs outside the room with Blasty following her. Sans chuckle a bit before he sighs.

"Welp. Another regular day..." He said to himself but as he changes he starts to remember yesterday's event with the Core. He frowns a bit as he could feel deep down on his SOUL that maybe it's would be different but he hopes it's nothing to worry. After changing his wet clothes with some dry one, he put his signature blue hoodie. After all those years, he still wears it everywhere he goes. A gift from his human mother who is still alive mind you but he kept remembering the day she gives it to him to help him over his nightmares... Sans still have some but it's not as severe ever since he has the hoodie. He feels like Alice put a spell on it to protect him from those bad dreams or maybe it was the coziness that it's emitting. He chuckles a bit before he went down as he meets his siblings but didn't spot their parents.

"Hey paps where are mom and dad?" He said.

"MORNING BROTHER! OUR PARENTS HASN'T GET OUT OF THEIR ROOM YET. THEY HAVE BEING WORKING OVERNIGHT." Papyrus said.

"Both of them? Don't get me wrong but I am pretty sure mom was with us all afternoon until bedtime. If she was not here then something must have gone wrong with my eyes despite not having eyeballs." Sans said as he raises an eyebrow as he points out his eye sockets. Papyrus cringe of his bad pun before he answers him.

"LAST NIGHT I WENT TO GET A GLASS A WATER AND I HEAR THE ELEVATOR OF THE LAB OPEN AND I HEAR THEM TALKING BUT I DIDN'T HEAR WHAT THEY SAID SINCE THEY WERE WHISPERING VERY QUIETLY," Papyrus said as he put the plate of spaghetti in front of both his siblings. Sans frowns a bit as he took a bite of the spaghetti. He knows both of his parents must have been talking about yesterday's event and they must have been gone through all the footage. They better explain themselves at work about what happened yesterday. I hate this bad feeling on my guts. Despite not having REAL guts. Heh. Sans thought to himself.

Meanwhile, in the master bedroom, both the couple was still tugged in bed. Well more like Gaster have a death grip over Alice and Alice as being awake for a while but didn't manage to get out of his arms yet.

"Love... I really need to get out and get a shower." Alice said as she tries once again to get out of his arms but he pulls her closer.

"5 more minutes..." Gaster said nuzzling her hair. She rolls her eyes of his response.

"You said that an hour ago. The kids already up and we should already be ready for work." Alice said as she tries to wiggles herself out. He groans a little bit before he let go of her. She sits up and looks down at her now pouting husband. She has a tiny smile came out of her lips.

"Aww don't pout love!" Alice said as she starts kissing his forehead, cheekbones and lips. He kisses her back with a little more passionate before he let her go so she can breathe. He smirks at her reaction as he enjoys making her blush.

" I-I will go shower," Alice said as she quickly went to their personal bathroom. He chuckles a bit before he also gets up and changes clothes. He left the room and could hear his children talking. Well more like Papyrus loud voice. He enters the kitchen and saw his children eating what's look like spaghetti. Sofia's Blaster saw him first and nudge Sofia as she glances at the side and saw her father.

"Daddy!" She said as she went toward him and lift her arms. Gaster bend down and took Sofia in his arms. She giggles a bit before hugging him.

"Morning dad," Sans said as he waves lazily.

"MORNING FATHER!" Papyrus said as he put a plate of spaghetti and a cup coffee on the table for his father.

"Morning everyone." He said as he put down Sofia in her chair. He sits down to get some of the spaghetti. Papyrus starts talking about what they did yesterday since their dad wasn't there until late when they went to sleep. Gaster feels bad that he overwork super late but he knew that his wife would make sure that they were fine so he did not worry about them. He listens to the story and smiles times to times when something funny happens. Sofia would add stuff to the story to make sure everything was there. Sans would throw puns times to times which causes Papyrus getting irritable of the number of puns.

"SANS!! YOU ARE RUINING OUR NICE FAMILY MOMENTS WITH YOUR BAD PUNS!!" Papyrus said. Sofia softly giggles as Blasty just let out a little growl and roll his eyes at the skeleton brothers.

"Already causing a ruckus? Cannot leave you guys alone one second heh." Alice said as she appears fully dress in a dress white shirt, a dress black skirt and her hair in a bun. She smiles at her family as she came closer to them.

"Mommy!" Sofia said as she jumps and wraps her tiny arms around her mother's waist. Blasty floats around Alice's head and purrs happily. She chuckles a bit.

"Morning sweety," Alice said smiling toward her daughter. She pats her head as her daughter giggles a bit. She let go of her mother and left to sit down again at her chair finishing her last serving of spaghetti.

"Morning mom," Sans said.

"MORNING MOTHER!!" Papyrus said as he also put a plate of spaghetti for his mother with a cup of tea.

"Morning boys." She said smiling at them. She sits down next to Gaster. He turns around and gives a kiss on her cheeks.

"Morning hun." He said. Alice smiles lovely at him before she answers him.

"Morning dear." She said as she starts taking a bite of her spaghetti.

"Your spaghetti is getting better paps!" She said smiling at the tallest skeleton. Yes, Papyrus is now 6'7 heights. He is slightly bigger than Gaster which is good cause really if he was, even more, bigger Alice would have to behold by her son when she would talk to him or Papyrus would have to sit down or crunch down. Not like he would have minded. He is still this sweet cinnamon roll that Alice remembers when they first met. They talk a bit more until Sofia went back to her room changing clothes and Papyrus cleaning up. The rest of the three of them went to the living room.

"So paps said you guys were working late last night? What's the deal?" Sans said as he sits on the couch. Alice sighs a bit before she sits down next to him.

"If you think it's about yesterday's event, it's not what we were doing," Gaster said as he sits next to his wife.

"Then what was about?" Sans said raising an eyebrow.

"It's my project I am working on, sans. The one to create a soul for the first fallen child, Chara" Alice said. Sans frown a bit. He knows about this project since when Alphys and he get hired they told them about what project they were working on. True, his mom project looks promising but he prefers mechanical aspect and quantum theory his dad was working on so he decides to be his assistant. It's didn't hurt his mother's feeling since she is glad someone can keep an eye, or eyesocket for this matter, to Gaster so he doesn't overwork himself.

"Your father was helping me to resolve some calculation that Alphys and I started to have some issues with it," Alice said.

"Calculation?" sans said.

"Yes. For some reason when we do the test we saw the formation of the SOUL but it stops at mid-way and we have been trying to figure out what causes the interruption. Which it's the reason why I ask your father to aid us in this problem." Alice finishes to said. Sans nods understanding that it was an issue since she did promise that demon ghost a SOUL without taking his mother's. Which would make him hurt to think about hurting or even killing his mother since it's will surely destroy his family all together. Welp, that enough of depression stuff for today. Sans thought himself.

''Your father did make an interesting theory and we will test it out in the Lab today'' Alice said.

''However... Even if the theory is right... We can make enough for one full SOUL but as for the barrier... it's would take years before we can make another one.'' Gaster said as he sighs.

''What do ya mean dad?'' Sans said.

''He means that we have enough Determination for generating one SOUL. If we want to make another one... we may need ALOT of Determination.'' Alice said as she sighs.

''What about the one you collect 5 years ago? and can't you extract some of your own too?'' sans said.

''It's mine determination plus the one I extract 5 years ago altogether. Even if I extract some of my own determination... It's wouldn't be enough to create a fully functional human SOUL.'' Alice said looking down at her laps.

''I guess Determination is more complex than I thought would be'' Sans said as he frowns a bit. He feels a hand on his shoulder and looks to see his mother smiling a little bit.

''It is a complex subject but so is the quantum field,'' Alice said reassuring her son. Sans smile her back. They chat for a bit before they saw Sofia exiting her room with her new set of clothes. She was wearing a red t-shirt and denim overalls with her brown winter boots. Blasty was right behind her as she jumps at sans laps.

''Ouf! sis don't break my bones.'' Sans said chuckle as Sofia giggles too.

"Alright since you ready Sofia then I will go work," Alice said as she gets up and went toward the front door.

"Aww, already mommy?" Sofia said frowning a bit.

"I have to sweety and also today your brother AND your father would be taking care of you." Alice said smirking at the three skeletons, in which papyrus end up in the living room after he finishes the dished.

"Say what now?!" The three skeletons said.

"You guys hear me correctly," Alice said as she put her boots and coat before grabbing her scarf.

"Hon, you know I have to check on the data of yesterday right?" Gaster said.

"You can see them in the house lab. You have access to them anyways." Alice said.

"But mom I have a skele-ton of work today too!" Sans said as Papyrus was cricking at his pun.

"Today you are doing sentry work with Papyrus. I know you are going to use this opportunity to sleep." She said smirking at Sans. He mumbles under his breath knowing she was right about it.

"Also I need to be in Hotland since all my material is there with Alphys. Sofia, sweety, you will be taking care of by your brother and father." Alice said as she kisses Sofia cheek. She leaves the house leaving the 3 skeletons to dumbfound and an oblivious hybrid.
