Day 6

I've decided to go exploring. I have no choice, I won't survive unless I do. I hate to leave the safety of the area I know, but I will die if I don't go put and find food.
I've used some iron to make armor however, to protect me in case anything else wants to try and kill me, which given my experiences so far, is likely to happen.
 I expected it to be super heavy on me, but no. In fact, I don't feel it at all! Same as when I'm carrying tons on tons of blocks and items; I don't feel it. That's probably good however, that way I can be as flexible and agile without worrying about heavy weight slowing me down.
I have that, the little food I already have, a sword, pickaxe, sheers, this journal, some water and charcoal filters. Oh yeah! I used the embers of wood in the furnace to make some charcoal and combine it with paper to help me create small filters to clean the water.
 I set out, hopefully I'll make it back with food, or better, clues to get out of this crazy world.

Night 6

As dusk approaches, I now realize I can't sleep as I don't have my bed. Curse these stupid sleeping rules this world has! I didn't travel too far away though, just a couple of miles, if that far, but it's insane what I've seen. Dry and blazing savanna's, tall and thick redwood trees, and relaxing fields of lavender. Ahh, that smell, It always helped me when I had headaches and helped me sleep at night. I was half tempted to take snooze in those fields right then and there But I kind of have to worry about not dying. I also have gotten plenty of food. Beef, Chicken, Mutton, port, I should be set for a while.
I find it weird that the different area's are so... um, how do you say. "Cut Off". It's abrupt shifts, like a literal line that cuts area's in two. Sometimes a river cuts them apart, but not always.
And another thing; why are there domesticated animals just... roaming around here like wild animals? I would have expected deer or birds, but no, domestic animals like sheep and pigs. Did someone breed them? Was there a civilization here long ago? Perhaps it's another part of this world I'm in.
But that's not why I'm writing, I'm writing because I encountered something odd and eerie. At complete nightfall, I approached what looked like a forest, but not a single tree had leaves. All of them just tall stumps in the ground. The ground was dry and course, I got a shiver down my spine as I walked into it, and even as I'm writing this now, that feeling hasn't gone away. An eerie chilling wind blew. It was like some disease had killed them all. It almost felt cursed... but I continued anyway out of curiosity. However, I think I shall head back very soon, this is getting a little too creepy for me. And monsters are roaming about also...
