Day 14

I've started my journey and I'll write what I find on my way, but I'm already unsettled by something. Not far from my shelter, I found another one of those forests with the trees bare of leaves. It's creepy, but my problem is I HAVE to go though to get past it, I can't go around without spending days just walking around it. This is the second one of these forests I've found, I wonder what went on here? I'll write some more in a little while but thankfully this place doesn't look too too big....

I made it though with nothing happening and I've come to a swampy area. Shallow flooded ground with mud and clay, tree's stuck growing in the water, Lilly pads and this damn humidity. Yuck, I hate this. I don't like that squishy sucky feeling in my feet. It reminds me of school, and rainy days where when walking to school I had gotten my shoes all wet and all day they were moist, hot and-- EWW!! I'm grossing myself out just thinking about it.

But though my painful and disgusting memories, I noticed the trees turning to an orange reddish color, like autumn color. Admittedly, it has felt slightly cooler, so I wonder if seasons pass in this world? Maybe, but I'll have to see. It sure would be a chance of pace from the stupid heat I've had to deal with. But it felt like summer 2 weeks ago! It was July the night before I was transported here, how can it be, at earliest, September?
And one more thing, I forgot to write down that I crafted a diamond sword before I left. Now if anyone wants to mess with me they'll get a world of hurt! Nothing can stop me!
Ok Lorelei; don't get cocky or it's gonna get rocky.
I was curious though, I got these diamonds from the fortress and I didn't hear any voices that time I got them. I wonder if it was those specific first diamonds I got or if it really was just my imagination at the time from stress. It may have just been, but considering the dreams I have had recently.... I don't know what to think.

Night 14
As the sun sets, I've crossed though the swamp, a muddy quagmire area and bog with many lakes and small tress, but over the horizon I see a winter forest, taiga dare I say. It reminds me of home and the snowy days I would play with my siblings and friends... until they got "too old". If anything, me thinking about this is making me depressed as no one wants to do anything anymore, no games unless it's online, no hanging out, no pranking our parents. They claim it's because their just too busy with them all getting ready to graduate school and move on to collage... but I think it's something else; they NEVER want to have fun anymore. OK you're getting side tracked Lorelei, get back to traveling. With a single sigh before I continue on.

I'm walking though the snowy forest and for the love of anything I cannot find a good temperature! First I was too hot, now I'm too cold and I'm feeling my fingers and toes freeze off. Despite the chilling temperature and harsh land, I see the northern lights in the sky! It's so pretty... I've always wanted to see them. This world may be vastly different and even dangerous, but it has a beauty unlike anything before between the environments I've seen.

This will be my last entry for tonight. While traversing the snowy forest, it would split into a tundra, huge barren wastelands of snow. In the blistering cold I found some sheep and sadly had to kill them for wool, as the chill was getting unbearable. But I made some clothes that hopefully will keep me warm. But that's not important, what is is that I found a mini castle or fortress thing in the tundra. It was made with stone and seemed like someone had lived in here, but scene abandoned it, but it couldn't have been abandoned long ago... I don't think at least, the torches were still lit, unless whoever was here before also had the "infini-torches" made with the glow dust. I'll stay here for tonight to warm up and tomorrow I'll continue. I've got quite the track tomorrow however, I see mountains taller then the clouds...
