Satoshi

Lucario and I were practicing our combat movements in our hideaway.

It's not much, but at least it's consider home.

Pikachu watched us and he moaned of boredom.

"Aw, it's not fair that you get all the fun! I want to be part of the fight too!"

I laughed at the little mouse Pokémon. "Don't worry about it, buddy. I promise that we'll get some special training with your Thunder Punch. You nearly hit me and Lucario when you first attempt to use it."

Pikachu looks embarrassed of the memory. "Yeah... I'll try not to do that."

Suddenly, he felt a spark in his cheeks, like an familiar electric went through him.

"I can't believe it." He said.

Lucario stand in battle mode as if was trying to prevent the person who was coming into our hideaway.

"Hello?" A familiar voice asked. I knew who it was and I said in total amazement, "Dedenne? Is that you?"

The fairy type was cold, from the outside and shivering. He had something in his mouth.

"Let's get him warm." Lucario said in concern tone.

"Charizard, come on out!" I yelled. Arceus also informed Isa of my quest, and happily given me back my Charizard to help.  

"Ash, let me guess, he's your friend from Kalos, isn't?" The Dragon Type chuckled.

"You know me well." I replied, as he blew a small flame to warm up the Fairy type Pokémon.

I opened up the note: "Dear Satoshi, the reason I sent out Dedenne to find you was to help us fight off Team Flare. Fighting them was not an easy task and we requested your help. If we joined forces, then it would be great help to us. Think about it and Dedenne will guide you to our base. - Bonnie, the Trainer of Lumiose City."

I thought about it. Maybe it is time to face them... including Serena. I hope that they wouldn't be that mad that I've left them without explaining.

Dedenne woken up and sees me.

"You... look like someone I used to know." He said.

I uncovered my hood to the Fairy-Type Pokémon.

"Hey, Dedenne. It's been a long time, hasn't it?" The little Fairy Type looked at me in total amazement.

"Ash!" He realized as I chuckled at him.

Dedenne

I couldn't believe it. After five years, the least person I thought I never seen again was Ash and Pikachu! Still, I'm very mad that he disappeared.

"Dedenne?" Ash asks, with worried expression on his face.

I said, "I can't believe it! You decided to come back after five years and all you say is "Hey?"

He looked embarrassed by it.

"I guess that you're mad." He replies, "But hey, I'm not dead!"

I rolled my eyes, "I know that! But you could've... I don't know, leave a sign or a note to tell us that you were ok! Where did you guys go?"

Ash looked at his friends and then replied, "We'll explain about that later."

I knew what to do.

"I think you should tell Serena and the gang you're back."

"And what about the Traitors?" Ash said.

"Delia fled from Kanto Region. Max and Misty, we have no idea where they are." I explained.

Ash understand the situation completely, "I see. Lucario, Pikachu and Charizard, let's go."

"Go where?" I asked.

"To your base, of course. Aren't you going to lead the way?" Ash asked, climbing into his Charizard's back.

I said, "Oh, right." I led them to the base where Serena immediately give Ash a hug which Pikachu, Lucario, Charizard and I smirk evilly.

"Satoshi... thank goodness you're ok! I was pretty worried back there." She said.

Ash just stand there, didn't say a word, so as any good friend would do, I used my Muzzle Attack to get him snap out of his trance.

He screams as Bonnie said, "Dedenne!"

I jumped into my Trainer's arms and Ash said, "Your Dedenne has some issues."

"I'm so sorry that he did that. I don't know what's into him." She apologized.

Ash laughs. His laughter is something I've never heard in a long time.

"It's all right." He said.

Serena said, "I'll lead you to meet the others. Bonnie, tell them to meet us at the battlefield."

"You have a Pokémon battlefield?!?" Ash exclaimed in surprised.

"Yeah. We use it every day for new recruits." Serena explains.

I knew things would be interesting from here on.
