Ash

I have to rescue Roma from Giovanni. I still have memories of Red being controlled by Team Flare. 

Red almost destroyed me along with him.

But thanks to Serena and the Resistance, I was able to get him back. 

It must been so long since the Ketchum brothers were together. I remember before leaving Red and Roma behind, Roma always like a challenge, a pretend battle if we were Pokémon Trainers already.

"Get ready, Ash. I'm going to beat you, when we are real Pokémon Trainers!" Roma declared.

"Roma, you are really something, bro." 

"Hey, Roma, Ash, Mum's back." Red said, happily.

"Hey Ash! Ash!" Gary said, interrupting my memory of Roma and me.

I turned to him, "Oh, Gary! I um..." 

"You going off on a secret, yet dangerous mission, aren't you? Something that is Pokémon Guardian duties, I guess. 

And it seems you already make up your decision of not letting us go into it, huh?"

"Something like that, yeah." I replied, smiling.

"If it involves around family, I will help. You really think I'm letting you to do this mission all on your own, aren't you?"

"Thanks Gary. Just keep Ser out of this. I really makes me feel better if she doesn't get involved ... ever. 

It's kind of dangerous and I really don't want my girl to get hurt in the process." 

"Sure thing, Ash. I'll keep her on fake errands, just do what you have to do." 

I run off as I touched the Latiasinte Mega Stone and Key Stone in my right jacket pocket.

I knew that I would need it as a last resort. If there is anything I've learnt in my previous life as a Pokémon Trainer, I have to think outside the box and don't be reckless.

Well, a little bit reckless.

Brock

 I followed Bonnie and Jessie silently. I still can't believe that Jessie was actually working for the good guys. 

It really fooled us all, considering she pretended of trying to capture Ash's Pikachu as long we remember.

But it still doesn't explain of why Bonnie and Jessie working together like this. 

Is there an hidden truth that we should know about?

As I was thinking, Bonnie's Pokegear was rigging as Jessie said, "Hey, Bonnie, it's your Pokegear." 

"Now, who would be calling me in a time like this?" She asks as she flips the screen for both of them to see. 

As if they were in total relief, they knew right who was calling.

"Ash!" They exclaimed happily.

"Hey, Bonnie, Jessie. Have you guys heard anything from my dad yet?" He asks curiously.

"Lawrence hasn't called if you are wondering, Ash. Bonnie and I are searching in the air for Giovanni's headquarters. Greninja is also in the search as well." Jessie informs the Pokémon Guardian.

 "Wow, that's awesome news. I'll try my best of locating the area with my powers. Hopefully we can find him before it's too late." 

"Ash Ketchum, don't tell me that you're worried are you?" Bonnie asks, raising an eyebrow at the nervous Guardian.

"Who? Me? No, how can I be? I saved all of Kalos from Team Flare, right? Team Rocket's not the problem I'm worried about." 

There was silence as knowing there will be dangerous consequences lie ahead.

"Ash, you can do this. We believe you can rescue your brother. Just believe in yourself, like you do every day ." Bonnie encouraged him.

Wait, am I hearing this right? Ash has another brother? Does Red know about this?

"Oh, Ash." I muttered. 

But I stumbled some supplies, leaving the group in utter surprise.

"Brock?!?" They said in unison.

Ash

I was in total shock as Jessie and Bonnie were, seeing Brock in their hot air balloon.

"Brock?!?" We ask in total surprise.

Brock was in total embarrassment as he gets up from the fall.

I sigh, "How much did you hear?"

"Long enough to hear that you had two younger brothers. Ash, you do realize that everyone wants to know about this." 

"Brock, I have to do this. It's my duty not as a Pokémon Guardian, but as an older brother. It's kind of a long story."

I stopped as if I knew that Roma is there.

"Guys, I have to go. Roma... I can sense him. He's not far. If Team Rocket disrupts our battle-" 

"Just leave the goons to us, just save Roma from Giovanni's control!" Bonnie snapped.

As I enter the Gym, I knew this is the path of no return. 

No matter what happens, I will get my little brother back.

"Hello, Ash. It has time for us to fulfill our promise." Roma said.

"Yeah, it is." 

Gary

As I was waiting for Ash to return, something has been notified in my Pokegear.

I opened up the video image and it was live footage.

It appears that Ash is having a Pokémon Battle!

 "Ash, what you up to?" I asked as Grandad saw the video live footage as well. 

"Oh, my." He said, felt remorse about seeing the two boys facing one other. 

"Grandad, what's wrong? Do you know who is that boy that Ash is battling against?" I asked the Professor in a concerned look.

 "Yes. Delia and Lawrence never wanted anyone to know, about their children." 

"Wait, are you saying that Ash isn't an only child?" I ask in shock.

"Yes. You already know one of them. Red is Ash's younger brother, but there is another brother. 

That boy that Ash is fighting against... that is his youngest brother, Roma Ketchum." 

"Whoa... Incredible." I said, but something is off.

If Ash is fighting Roma, why is Ash look so determined?

"I still don't get it. If Roma and Ash are brothers, why they having a Pokémon battle now? I get Ash was gone for five years for being a Pokémon Guardian. It doesn't add up." 

"I guess we'll find out when Ash gets back. I hope that Ser doesn't find out about this." 

"Yeah, I hope that Ash knows that this battle would be-" 

"Would be what?" Clement asks, seems to be interest of what is happening in the Pokegear video footage.

"Uh.... Clement, forgive me for questioning this, but where is Bonnie?" I asked.

Clement's eyes widen as if he realize that she was missing as well.

"Oh, that's great. One minute she's here in the base, the next minute she's missing! Why does being a brother be so complicated?!?" He groans out loud.

As I watch Roma, I knew that Ash has some plan.

Narrator: As Roma and Ash begin their Battle, Ash was determined to save the younger brother he had lost. Can he be able to do it in time?
