Karina woke up from her sleep on the couch in the living room that night surprised that Winter was sitting on the floor, leaning slightly to the couch with her head on the comfy material. The actress smirked at the most innocent view from the bodyguard.

The feeling of Winter staying at her house wasn't that weird because of their friendship. But what's weird to Karina right now is this weird feeling inside her that telling her it was more than weird that Winter was staying here.

It was the feeling of warmth and longing.

But Karina couldn't reason why.

Winter was sleeping soundly despite her awkward position and dirty coffee table full of beers and soju. Karina was hit by the memory that she drink too much that night.

Not that she can't remember that she kissed Winter.

The clock on the wall makes the actress realize it's already passed midnight. After clearing up the table and gulping down some warm water, Karina headed back to wake Winter up.

She needs to be in the bed, or she will get great back pain the next day.

"Winter, wake up...", Karina said as she shake the younger woman's body gently. Winter whines once and continues to sleep again.

"Gosh. Winter Kim, wake up or you'll get sick from sleeping sitting", Karina called her again, but this time, Winter hummed once and finally open up her sleepy eyes.

"Let's go upstairs...", Karina stand up first, holding Winter's wrist and slightly pulling her up.

As Karina tried to walk by pulling Winter to follow her, the younger woman froze in place, and Karina immediately turned her head towards Winter full of dissatisfaction.

"Aren't you going up? Or you will sleep here?"

Winter didn't answer her words. Sleepy eyes still looking straight into Karina's. They look into each other's eyes for a while as Karina tried to see if Winter wanted to send her messages or something through their eye contact. But it was none.

No words and only eyes. Karina was getting shy at how Winter was looking at her. Brown sleepy orbs that can sway Karina for an unknown reason. She realized that her cheeks are burning, so Karina turn her head somewhere else, trying to hide her embarrassment.

"Or... do you want to sleep t-together..."

Karina's voice was almost like a whisper, and slowly she regrets what she said when the younger woman didn't give her any answer. When Karina turned her head back towards Winter, the younger woman smiled slightly and nodded her head once.

Karina's heart went for a run.

It wasn't weird.

This wasn't weird.

Karina and Winter did sleep together before, side by side when Winter came to stay for the night. It wasn't weird at all.

But Karina's heart never went this crazy for Winter before.

"Stupid heart. Why won't you stay still and beat like normal??!"

Panic. But Winter already drove herself into a deep sleep beside her on the actress's king-size bed. Only is that this moment was too surreal for Karina to live. Winter might have had this effect on Karina's body after high school that Karina couldn't remember, Karina thought.

The dark room makes it worst. The only noise the actress can hear is Winter's stable breath and the room's air-cond that has been put into sleep mode. The only view Karina can focus on right now is Winter's soft figures.

It's calming and ethereal.

Yet, the feelings of familiarity keep bothering her.

Karina remembered the kiss from her memory flashbacks back in college. She wonders thousands of times since then how it feels to kiss her best friend.

And so, she did it quietly out of curiosity.

A peck on the sleeping Winter's lips already makes the actress flushed like crazy. She do it one more time and it sent shivers down her spine. Shy but want to, Karina lean in again for the third time and this time Winter was awake by the soft touch on her lips.

Karina saw it. How Winter's eyes slowly open and look deep into her eyes. Winter didn't say anything despite Karina being so nervous that she was finally caught in the act. Before the actress can turn her body around to face the other side, Winter stopped her by holding her shoulder tight.

"Look W-Winter... I'm really sorry---"

Winter cuts her words with a passionate soft kiss on the actress's lips. Her hands were brought back behind Karina's neck and Karina can only close her eyes shut, kissing Winter back at the same pace.

Then a rush of memories flashed in her head.

A kiss with Winter.

Another kiss with Winter.

More kisses with Winter.

All Karina can see is every moment she kissed Winter.

They did this more than Karina could ever imagine.

A drop of tears came out from nowhere falling from Karina's cheeks. The short flashbacks themselves couldn't tell her much, but she could tell that Winter and she were madly in love right before her accident. It's so pathetic and sad that Karina can't remember all of their moments together.

She's more than thankful if Winter used to be her girlfriend.

Winter pulled Karina's head closer for better exposure and Karina poured out all the emotions and confusion she had on the younger woman. As Karina slightly open her mouth for air, Winter came in and intertwined their soft buds together.

Karina wants to cry so badly.

She's so desperate for the truth.

Her heart hurt like crazy.

She wants to know more.

She wants to feel more of Winter.

She wanted Winter to stay.

The younger woman came on top of the actress, pinning her down while still kissing her lips full of passion of love. Karina never let go of her hands that were already circling the bodyguard's neck. Winter then slightly opened her eyes and saw the tears on the actress's cheeks, so she sit up on the actress's thighs and Karina automatically followed her back up with their lips close tight.

Winter wiped the tears on Karina's cheeks with her thumbs, caressing her cheeks softly and gently. Karina wants to choke from crying because of their kiss, but she wants to.

Strangely Winter understands her by slowly pulling their lips apart, forehead still in touch, looking deep into each other eyes in the darkness of night.

"Why are you crying, Rina? Did you have nightmares?", Winter said softly like her voice is a whisper.

"No... it's not like that..."

"I saw many moments of us doing this... yet I don't know why--"

"It's hurt, Winter..."

"What if we were madly in love before the accident happen and I can't remember that moment anymore-"

"I want to know-"

"But I realized I'm hurting you as well"

"Because I can't remember you and if that's true-"

"How much did I hurt you, Winter?"

"How much did I hurt you for not remembering this?"

"The fact that can't remember and I want to remember but I realized that I'm hurting you-", Karina cried so hard before Winter cuts her words again with another passionate kiss.

That night goes on like that.

Winter was calming her and assuring her with her soft kisses, enough until the actress won't question her nor feel the guilt out of her no more. Seeing Karina crying is another weakness of Winter and she's glad that she stopped it to continue for long that night.

And she won't afraid no more if Karina slowly remembers.

Winter might not give her any answer that night, but Karina believes Winter was telling her answers from her actions.

Karina's threatening case was already been brought to authorities for future actions, and Winter strongly suggested to the policeman that she will be involved in the matter with the reason that she was the closest to the actress and the one who witnessed the suspect face.

Winter described the suspect clothes from head to toe that day, and they tried so hard to find CCTV evidence from nearby roads or shops. Even tho they found some of it, the investigation didn't give a complete answer. It ended with disappointment.

All they knew is the man's height and his eyes Karina barely remember facing him for a few seconds on the incident day.

That doesn't mean Winter will give up to find him.

Karina had a cosmetic product shoot today and Winter never leave her side at all. The only time Winter was apart from the actress is when Karina came forward for the shoot. Winter was still there, looking at her with a warm smile, standing right behind the monitor director.

She holds the red lipstick up and posed chic. Heads left and right. Smile and cold. Sit and stand. She do it all until the staff were dismissed for a short break. Karina came walking towards Winter, exchanging her smile when Winter pulled out a water bottle and handed it towards the actress.

The actress gladly takes it and gulps it down.

"I don't know that you're now my manager, huh?", Karina grinned once before gulping down the water again.

"I can't help it. Key said he'll kill me if I failed to protect you again", Winter smiled.

"Well... he was right tho. Not only he will kill you. Aeri, Ningning, and also me. The four of us will kill you"

"Ahaa~ I see", Winter nodded her head dramatically before Karina handed her the water bottle back.

The director called everyone back to continue their photoshoot and Winter smiled one last time before the actress need to move. But after a step walking away from Winter, Karina turned her head back towards the younger woman.

"And I know already that if you failed to protect me, you will cry your hearts all out pfft-"

Karina's last word succeeds to make the bodyguard at a total loss for a word. She's right about it tho.

The photoshoot continue when the director asked Karina to apply red lipstick on her lips. Then, Karina applied it on her lips like any other normal lipstick. Three strokes just enough to leave the strong colour on her lips and smacked her lips together to balance the colour. But then her face turned immediately into a frown when she could taste the strange taste coming from the lipstick on her lips.

"I'm sorry but what kind of lipstick is this?", Karina asked with her furrowed eyebrows. Winter who was now worried came forward towards the actress and took the lipstick away from her hands.

"What's wrong, Rina?", Winter asked softly.

"What's wrong, Miss Yu? The lipstick was just a normal YSL lipstick", the director said from his seat. Despite his words, Karina's eyes never left Winter's, and so did Winter.

"Why, Rina? What's weird?", Winter asked again, holding Karina's chin with her finger for a better view of the actress's lips.

"No-- it tastes like... blood! And the aftertaste is..."

"Weird.........", Karina answered before all of sudden her legs become weak and thankfully Winter managed to catch the actress on time.

"Rina!"

"Karina!"

The whole studio became a panic mess when Karina fell into Winter's embrace. Winter tried to wake up the actress but failed. Her worries grow when Karina shows no reaction despite her eyes that was slightly opened.

"What happened to her!", the director asked in his panic state and it struck Winter's mind that the source of this panic is from lipstick. Winter pulled the lipstick in her hand close to her nose but she found nothing suspicious. Not until she touched her tongue tip enough to just have a taste, and she immediately spits it out right after.

"Shit", Winter cursed.

"WHO GAVE HER THIS LIPSTICK?!", Winter asked in an uncontrollable angry tone, looking fiercely through the room, but finding none of them lifting their hands.

"No one?", Winter sneered angrily.

Then there this two staff debating with each other, saying that one of them should be the one who handed the lipstick to Karina, but the other one said someone came saying that he was a new staff and he will help her to give the lipstick to Karina.

"FUCK!", Winter shouted as she lifted Karina behind her back, not until Key and Aeri came running towards her after hearing her angry voice.

"What's wrong, Miss Kim? What happened to Karina?", Key asked worriedly and Winter finally had the best-secured hold on Karina's unconscious body.

"That lipstick is a strong drug, mixed with animal blood", Winter said before running towards the exit. Key and Aeri followed right behind her as they make their way towards the company car.

"What??", Key asked, still confused about the situation.

"SOMEONE DRUGGED HER WITH THAT LIPSTICK AND IF WE ARE LATE TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL, KARINA'S HEART MIGHT STOP BEATING FOR LIFE SAKE!"
