"Is she sleeping?" I heard Grayson say.

"Yeah," Ethan responded. "Don't wake her up."

"It's fine," I said, yawning and stretching. "I'm awake."

I checked the time. "There are 30 minutes left. Do you still want to switch?"

I kind of wanted to sit next to Grayson, but I didn't think I could forgive him that easily.

"Can we switch?" Grayson pleaded with Ethan.

"I mean, there's only half an hour left, but it's fine," Ethan shrugged.

Grayson sat down next to me, while Ethan sat in the back with Melissa. I noticed that he was gazing longingly at her. I sighed. We both would have a hard time getting over our heartbreak.

I felt Grayson lace his fingers through mine. I tugged my hand away from his and curled up into a ball on my chair. "I'm going to go back to sleep, Grayson."

I tried to fall asleep for about ten minutes, but gave up when I wasn't able to. I sat up and looked at Grayson, who was reading a book I recommended to him a week ago. I finished that book in two days. It's my absolute favorite of all time.

I thought the fact that Grayson was reading my favorite book would repulse me, but it didn't. Instead, it sadly tugged at my heart.

I wondered which part of the book he was on, and felt like being the big book spoiler I usually was.

Grayson saw me looking at him. "I'm at the part where Anna and Marco are studying together."

"How did you know that I was going to ask you what part you were on?" I asked.

He smiled. "Because I'm smart."

"Well, I'm a lot smarter," I said, smirking.

"No you're not," he teased with a wink.

"I'm much smarter, and you know it," I pointed out.

Grayson pouted and sent me an adorable sad face. 

I laughed, and was tempted to kiss him, even though I remembered what he did.
