he has many
treasures
hidden inside of
his soul and
his heart.
I cannot wait to
discover them
like new planets
in his solar system.

"what are you doing up
so early?"
I ask at three a.m.
"watching the
sky."
he replies simply
directly after.
I hug him from behind
and peck his cheek
and go back
to bed.

at noon he is
at the window sill again,
so I stretch my arms out
over his shoulders
and whisper in his ear,
"what are you doing?"
he smiles and
looks up and kisses me
and says,
"just looking at
the sky."
and that's when I realized
that will loves the sky.

"do you love it more
than you love me?"
I ask with fear and ache,
and he looks
shocked
and stands up and
turns around.
I'm pulled
into a hug, and
I feel kisses
on my lips,
"never.
I'm just looking out for
tomorrow,
because I realized
I would be
with you again."

and that's also when I realized
he wants a future
with me.
so I hold his
hands and
kiss him
back.
"I love you, treasure."
