#7

"Jaeden." I let out a loud giggle as Jaeden tried to kiss my neck.

"I missed you." He replied, continuing.

"Yeah but my mom is going to be home any minute." I responded, trying to not get distracted. Jaeden's never been like this with me before. But not going to lie, I'm not complaining.

"Ugh, fine," He groaned and sat us up on my bed. "What's our plan."

"Okay we need to somehow let you live here until Wyatt and Lilia are caught, of course without letting mom know." I started.

"I could stay in your room for the whole day." Jaeden suggested.

"My mom does go to work all day, she rarely ever comes upstairs to check up on me." I thought.

"I'll be extra quiet." Jaeden begged with his pouty face.

"Okay fine." I sighed in defeat. I hated that he had to be in the open like this, I don't want to take any risks. My mom could kill me.

Jaeden smiled and smashed his lips onto mine, daily make outs were becoming our thing now. Not my fault.

I rolled my eyes before pushing him off.

"Vanessa!" I heard my mom.

My eyes widened as I jolted from the bed onto the ground.

Jaeden chuckled and helped me onto the wheelchair.

"Thanks." I glared at him and rolled towards the ramps.
I advised to stay quiet until I came back.

As I made it to the last part of the ramp, my mom rushed towards me.

"Nessa! What have I told you about going upstairs alone." She shook her head, helping me into the kitchen.

"Mom, I'm going to be 17 in December." I pointed out.

"Thats 3 months away!" She exclaimed.

"I'm basically 17, just 3 months." I say hysterically.

"Yeah and you'll also be 3 months without electronics if you keep talking like that." She spat back.

"You can't do that, I'm an influencer." I argued.

"2 months." She responded with a smile.

"Without an influencer." I challenged.

"1 month and 3 weeks." She argued back.

"Oh how sad, my fans would turn on me for not posting." I say innocently.

"4 weeks!" She said about to give up.

"I could take that." I shrugged.

She sighed and shook her head.
"You're so complicated to deal with." She shrugged.

"Great to know your my mother!" I smiled.

"I'm going to make some spaghetti, you want some?" She asked.

"No thanks, if you don't mind I'll be upstairs." I smiled innocently and turned to the stairs only give stopped again.
My mom stood in front of me with a stern look on her face.

"What did we talk about? I'm taking you upstairs." She said pushing my wheelchair.

"I can do this myself." I scoffed.

"Don't make this harder for me." She spat.

"Ugh, just leave at the top of the stairs." I rolled my eyes as we went up the first ramp. She finally pushed me up the second ramp and left.

"Finally," I breathed out, opening my door and locking it behind me. "Jaeden?"

Two blue eyes popped out at me from the closet doors.

I smiled and nodded for him to come out.

"I remember when we used to share the bed." I turned my head to Jaeden and smiled. We were now resting on my bed, it was 9pm. My window was open slightly so we could feel the chilly air come through.

"Yeah, and it would always leave tingles in my stomach because you looked so beautiful when you were asleep." He smiled as a blush crept through his cheeks.

"Aw," I purred, then sudden realization hit me. "Wow, that's creepy.. You watched me sleep, stalker."

Jaeden chuckled as his blush grew.

"It's hard not to look at someone you love." He confessed.

"You're such a softie!" I laughed and smiled widely.

I pulled him closer to me and stared into his ocean eyes.

"We got us." I said, connecting our lips together.

And that was the end of that night.

The next day was school day, yay. I kissed Jaeden goodbye and rolled on the bus at 6:10AM.

"Morning Nessa." I looked up and saw the same boy in my English class. I looked into his green eyes and tilted my head.

"Hi-, how do you know my name?" I say confused.

His cheeks flushed red as he scratched the back of his head.
"I um-, I-I have you in three of my classes haha." He said nervously.

"Makes sense," I nodded in approval. "What's your name?"

"Nathan." He smiled cheekily. "How are you doing, you know since the school thing.."

"Better, it's over but I never got to tell you thanks for helping me calm down." I rambled. "If anything, I could help you in class or actually be nicer to you. Sorry for being an asshole when we first talked, it just wasn't my day."

He placed his hand on mines and chuckled, "It's fine."

I gave him a weak smile and nodded.

October 29th.

Jaeden's POV

Well, this is mind boggling. Today I was going to sneak into Nessa's school and surprise her.
I'm going to be wearing a hoodie to hide my face of course. I saw a flyer she had of the Halloween preformance in one day. I want to watch it with her when i sneak into her school tomorrow.

I swiped my ventra card on the bus and sat down, hiding my face. I was nervous, I can't let anyone know I'm here. And how was I sneak into her school? Lets hope for the best.

Here I was, hiding in the boy's bathroom in the stalls. I looked like a poor boy ditching class for the first time. Now let's see, which was her 8th period class?

COMPUTER SCIENCE!

I dashed down the hall of the second floor. I looked at the classrooms, every single one.

And I finally found her, except... I think I didnt want to now that I've seen how she acts with me not around.A tear ran down my cheek, she was with another guy at her computer desk.
They were laughing and awfully close. He was pointing to the computer screen. She was nodding and click different things. She looked at him and smiled wide, so much wider than she was with me.

She didn't love me, she lied. I thought she cared about me. This is it, all girls want to do it hurt you behind your back. Never trust a girl, never again.

I can feel my eyes get red and just as I was about to turn away, Nessa turned to my direction and saw me. She looked at me with excitement and confusion. Then she turned at the boy and then at me, and shook her head at me with sadness.

She didn't get to say anything because I took off and ran out the door, the school's alarm rang loud. It was for kids that wanted to ditch so they would be caught.

Luckily for me, the bus was in front so I ran and got on.
What was I going to do now? I guess I'll just have to ignore her back home.

*

I arrived at her house and made my way upstairs and plopped down on the room next to hers. It was originally mines but I didn't want separate rooms, I wanted Vanessa.

But I guess I wasn't enough.
