Peridot's POV

I wanna tell her everything..
I want to tell her how I've missed her..
How I searched for her..
How I loved her...
But.. I can't..
I have to protect her from them...

I stared at Lapis as she leads me to the amusement park.
She led me straight to that stall where I won her that teddy bear.

I hope the manager doesn't recognize me.

The manager looked at me and smiled.

Damn. So much for not recognizing me.

"I see you're back!" He said.

I quickly made a confused face and looked at Lapis.

I hope this works.

She seemed to be convinced.

"Don't you.. Remember him..?" She asked me.

I shooked my head and lied. "I'm afraid not."

She just smiled and nodded at the manager.

I could tell that she was thinking of something until she suddenly pulled me near the Ferris Wheel.

She jumped in.

This ride... I remember it all too well.. Damn it, Peridot. Keep pretending.

I made a confused face and went in with her.

The ride soon took us at top.

She looked at me and stared into my eyes.

Those eyes.. How I missed them..

"Don't you.. Remember anything from this..?" She asked full of hope.

I'm sorry if I have to lie, Lapis..

I shooked my head once more.

"Sigh.. Okay." She said a bit disappointed.

How I wish I could tell you everything...

"Lapis, I'm sorry if I can't remember any of these.. Moments. I just can't really recall any of these.." I lied.

She looked at me and smiled.

"It's okay. After this, we'll go eat okay..?" She said.

I have to make her happy..

I thought for awhile until an idea popped in my head.

"Okay. But after we eat, I have to show you something as well." I said almost grinning.

She smiled and waited for the ride to end.

I wish this is enough to make her smile.
