Peridot...

She changed.

She looks the same, but...

Something's wrong...

I looked at Peridot.

She looks back with unamused eyes.

"Peridot?" I said with hope in my eyes.

She raised a brow.

"How'd you know my name?" She asked.

"D-Don't you know me?" I said.

"Pardon, but I don't think I have seen you before." She said.

W-what?

She closed the door behind her.

"May I ask your name?" She said.

"L-lapis. Lapis Lazuli." I said.

She looked at me again.

"Lapis Lazuli... I think I heard your name before.." She said.

"R-really?" I said.

"Hmmm... Yeah. You're applying for a job,  Am I correct?" She said.

She doesn't remember me?

"Ummm.... Yes." I said.

She raised her hand a bit.

"Nice to meet you Lazuli. I'm Peridot Diamond." She said.

I teared up a bit.

I hugged her.

I couldn't help it.

"Peridot, don't you remember me?" I said.

"No. I'm afraid not." She said.

She patted my back a bit.

She pulled herself away from me.

"I'm sorry.  But all that I could remember from my past is a big bomb. Then, nothing." She said.

"A-amnesia?" I muttered.

"What was that?" She asked.

"Amnesia? You have amnesia?" I said.

"Oh. Yeah. My Aunt said that I got in a little accident that led me to amnesia." She said.

She then got a call.

"Good Morning. Who's this?"

I heard a few murmurs but I couldn't quite tell what the caller was saying.

Probably about business..

"Alright. I'll be there right away." She said.

She placed her phone in her pockets and faced me.

"I'm sorry but I must go. Congratulations for getting the job." She said.

She hurriedly went to the door she entered in and left.

Peridot... How could you forget me..? No.. I must find a way to make her remember me!

I went out of the office and said farewell to Miss Silver.

I got out of the building and went back home.

I must get her to remember me...
