Peridot's POV

So HE'S the one who shot Lapis.
You're gonna pay, slightly buffier cheesepuff.

I quickly went to the police station and reported to the chief.
He looked at the cctv footages and the pictures of Jasper's Twin brother, Jade.
He looked pretty surprised, but he soon ordered a team to investigate and search for the whereabouts of Jade.
He gave me an assuring smile and that's when I left.

It's been almost a week now since Lapis got confined. Unfortunately, she still hadn't gained consciousness.
I continued to have an investigation of my own.
I finally figured out where Jade was staying so I began to add some adjustments on my enhancers.

An electric blaster. Heh. Enough to get him out cold.

I then went out and headed towards the address that I gained.
I finally arrived near the said house.
I sneaked closely to the window to see if he's there.
And fortunately, he was there watching television.
I sneaked around the back and carefully walked in.
I made it through the staircase and went up.
I saw two doors, the other one looked like it wasn't opened for years, and the other one was opened.
I went in the opened one and saw various kinds of rifles.

So he owns alot of these huh..

I then went down the stairs and carelessly entered his living room.
He was shocked.

"P-Peridot?! What are you doing here?!" He blurted out.

Without hesitation, I activated my blaster and pointed it at him.
"This will hurt a lot." I smirked.

I shot him and an electric ball hit him.
He collapsed on the floor, shaking badly.
Until his body finally became motionless.
I walked to him and checked his heart rate.

Too bad. You're  still alive.

I dialed my phone and called the chief.

"I found him." I said, cheerfully.

"Well that was fast. Message me the address and we'll be there in a few." He said, hunging up.

I heard the call dropped and then I started texting my coordinates.

A few minutes later, the chief came along with other policemen.

They say me sitting on Jade's couch like it belonged to me and saw Jade on the floor.
They were about to freak out when I spoke.

"Don't worry, he's just out cold." I said making them forget the thought that I murdered someone.

They quickly carried Jade into the police car and went off, but the chief stayed.

He smiled and shook his head.

"You're  one determined millionaire." He said.

I shrugged. "Thanks for the help, Chief. Means alot to me."

"Glad to be of service." He said. Finally walking out and driving off.

I'll protect you no matter what, Lapis.

I slowly stood up, walked towards the door but I stopped.

I looked back and went up the staircase again.

Should I..?

I opened the other door, for some reason it wasn't locked.

It's Jasper's room...

Jasper's room was filled of.. Pictures.
Mostly it was of Lapis, but something caught my eye.
A picture of Jasper, Jade, and another person.

Is that.. Silver?
