Still the loud, obnoxious, knuckle-headed ninja she scolded from time to time, even until this day. She inwardly chuckled at the thought.

But something, something seems different.. Is it the way he walks? The newly blood stained clothes? Or is it the way he acts so awkward?

She figured it out, and smiled, a small but genuinely heart-melting smile.

He's more matured now.

He's definately not the old him anymore. Now, he knows how to minimize his loudmouth a little. Now, he knows how to limit his ramen consumption..

Now, he knows when to back away when heart broken..

"Save it, Sakura-chan." He said with a serious face. She was shocked to hear such tone in his usually hyper voice.

"You and Teme, need to spend time with each other now, so.. see you two back in the village!" He tried to sound happy for them. He tried to sound okay with it..

And this didn't went unnoticed by the pinkette. She could still see the pain in that fake smile of his.

And that, let her grip on the Uchiha go..

She didn't know exactly what happened, but she found herself hugging the blonde rather tightly.

As a small blush tinted her sweet, fair cheeks and a large smile on her angelic face, she hid her head on the crook of his neck.

Naruto, being in total shock, soon recovered and returned the hug. Eyes not leaving the beautiful medic..
