It was 4 am when I woke up to puke my guts out, I've never threw up so much in my life. The sudden knocks on my front door startling me, I picked myself up slowly.

Making my way to the sink, I wash my face then brush my teeth and gargle. I slowly made my way to the door, I looked out the window to see TOP & Youngbae on my welcome mat.

My body weak from throwing up, I lost my grip on door when I swing it open. Falling forward into someone's arms, catching me just in time. "Damn Alecia your burning up, why didn't you tell one of us!"

I lift my head weakly, I struggled to speak. "I didn't have the energy to go next door nor anyone's cell number."

"We aren't taking any chances, Alecia we are taking you to the hospital now! TOP, call the boys. Tell them Alecia is sick & we're taking to the nearest hospital."

I picked her up bridal style, I grabbed her purse tossing in her wallet, keys & phone. I was really worried, her skin color was a little pasty.

Her eyes were dull in color, her body temp was unbelievable hot she was sweating bullets metaphorically speaking. Her whole front and back sweaty, while she shivered in my arms.

I told myself to be strong for her, she will need someone to take care for her. My heart clenched with a feeling, I haven't felt in almost forever.

A few hours later

All four of us were in the waiting room, waiting for news on Alecia.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for the person who brought Miss Li in. I'm her primary doctor, it's a good thing you brought her in when you did."

I stood up quickly making my way towards the old man in the white coat. "I'm Youngbae, she's our neighbor. We just met officially yesterday, she was okay after she fainted. Can you tell me what's wrong with her Doc?"

"I'm sorry but I'm only allowed to tell blood relatives her situation, hospital policy." The doctor has said.

"Well you see... She has no family that we know of. Umm her birth parents had died, when Alecia was 16. Her adopted parents had also passed away last year, so my brothers & I are all she has left. Please, just tell us or just me what's wrong with her!"

The doctor pulled me into a private room, "I'm sorry we are waiting for an expert from abroad, my mentor has gone over seas to fetch them. They should arrive in a day or two, if we will try to prolong this till something can be done."

"But if we can't then their won't be anything we could do, she could go from the end of the month to a year. She is at the early stages of lung cancer, don't worry we will try everything in our power to help her."

My body not being able to take the shocking news, I made my way out the hallway. My steps unsteady as stumble falling to my knees, my body racked with sobs. In a crouched position, that is how my brothers found me.

They asked me what had the doctor said, "Wait till we get home, I'll explain then."

I walked into her hospital room, a few flashbacks of when it happened a long time ago. The images of my dad, laying on the bed. Those memories are still fresh in mind, like it had happened yesterday.

I leaned over Alecia, I whispered to her. "Alecia sweetheart, please try to wait, try to hold on a little longer."

I fixed her hair, tucking it behind her right ear. I slid my hand down into hers, gripping it with a little pressure. Letting her know she wouldn't be alone in all this, that she'll have me here watching over her.

All I know is w- we or I have to do everytbig in my power, to try and give her. The one thing she has always wanted, which to my understanding is that her experience will help justify if she can finally really and trully fall in love.

I swear I will be there for her every step of the way, she wouldn't be alone after all
