GONE

This was it.

I was officially gone.

From this body.

This life.

I was no longer tied to this earth.

Yet there was still pain.

The greatest pain came at the very end.

When I hit the water.

It hurt everywhere. The pain spread through my body like flames, yet feeling so cold it burned.

The physical and emotional pain had taken its toll.

I caved.

I gave up on life.

And entered death.

Entered peace.

The inevitable.

And that was it.

I was officially gone.
