12 hours later

The plane finally landed in Charles-de-Gaulle International Airport as sun was rising up in capital of France. Even despite the fact that our couple flew at night from Adventure Bay, time zone difference also played its' role, so they faced night time again - it made Chase quite frustrated because he got a headache from that as Skye was also frustrated a bit - she couldn't see Paris in all beauty, and they also needed to get a hotel transfer. All these thoughts flooded their minds as they were picking up their luggage and when they did so, the anthro Shepherd walked to his wife and kissed her cheek.

Chase: Stay there, need to solve one thing.

Skye: Ok.

It didn't take actually much time as Chase came back with some keys, making Skye confused, still, they went to airport exit and when they exited the building, a 4-door car has arrived - the driver got out from it with some papers and walked up to Chase.

Skye: You rent a car?

Chase: Yeah, so we couldn't rush with getting to hotel. Let's have some warm up for our legs, shall we?

The anthro Cockapoo hugged him tightly, squealing quietly from happiness - it surely was a surprise, but she was so glad that her husband once again didn't rush with their schedule. They had one month of having fun together here and they should enjoy every minute of it. Not wasting any time, the couple quickly packed their luggage in car and drove to Paris.

1 hour later 

It was a midnight on clock as Chase and Skye finally arrived to the capital of France and stopped near main sight of city - Eifel Tower, which was unfortunatelly closed, but Chase still offered to walk nearby and they did so. Clear sky, calm weather with light wind and empty streets - very romantic situation as our couple was walking while holding their hands.

Skye: I'm already feeling that romatic atmosphere of Paris.

Chase: Me too... I think that walking through Paris at night is even better than at midday.

Skye: Really?

Chase: Just look around - we're here alone.

Skye: You're right, honey. 

Then they stopped to look at Eifel Tower which was on the right side of them as the anthro Cockapoo leaned on her husband to feel his warmness and he responded by kissing her forehead.

Skye: I actually know the history about this tower.

Chase: I'd like to hear.

Skye: One man actually borrowed this land for this tower and when he finished it, people were disguised of it. They wanted to destroy it, but the builder felt that his masterpiece will be popular, so he made his deal long-termed. And soon, the Eifel Tower became a main symbol of not only Paris, but of whole France.

Chase (giggle): Quite comparable to my life.

Skye: What do you mean?

Chase: Me and tower have almost the same backstory - not being received friendly at first and then huge success has arrived.

Skye: Kinda agree, but still you need to start move on from this. Try now to look forward, not backward.

As soon as she said that, she immideately felt horrible - it wasn't in her plans to teach her husband some life things because it breaks the present atmosphere. Gladly, Chase felt it and pulled her closer to himself.

Chase: Hey, it's alright dear. I know what do you mean, it's just quite hard to move on from that... and I hope you'll help me with that during this month.

Skye: Hehe, I surely will mon amour.

Chase: Mmm, mon amour - my love... *sounds like this I guess*

His thoughts were correct as his wife kissed him and they had a little make-out session, which made them feel heated up, but the couple managed to hold still.

Skye: The baby can wait. We have a lot more things to do.

Chase: Then let's keep going.

Then Chase and Skye walked near the tower for 6 more minutes before getting back to the car and driving to their hotel.
