17 hours until The FINAL HOUR

     The teens snap out of their trance and they rush over to Jane asking her various questions until they were interrupted by Dave,

"Uh guys I think I know why Jane is discouraged." 

Now he was the one at the window and he looked very discouraged. They all then rushed to the window, only to see what made both of them so afraid. Outside of Mia's house was a real Zombie. Well, that's not what anyone in her town called them, they were always referred to as freaks. As they were all to afraid to move or scream or do anything the freak then snapped its head in their direction. On impulse they all ducked down, Grace even let out a shriek. They all hid under the window so that they couldn't be seen. They were all scared out of their minds but then they heard a thud.  then another. then another. The freak was walking up the fucking stairs. they all held onto each other. Then Mia remembered something. She left the door unlocked. without thinking Mia gets up from her spot and runs over to the door, the Freak then pushes the against the door and it opens, but luckily Mia was close enough to the door to slam it shut once more and this time lock it. Mia then slid to the floor, and put her head in her lap, not knowing what to do. She just cried as she heard the Freak trying to get in the house afraid the lock would not hold. Then it all stopped, the freak's groans had grown fainter and fainter. They all noticed this change, Dave looked back out the window and saw that the Freak was now wandering the streets, but not leaving the perimeter. 

"I think it's safer now." 

They all let a sigh of relief, and they eased up a little. 

"so what are we gonna do now?"

"well it's pretty obvious we can't stay here so I think we should find shelter." Dave says.

"That's crazy! Did you not just see that- that FREAK out there?!?" Grace says

"Grace, Dave is right we shouldn't stay here, what with no food,barely any water, and everything being knocked out we won't stand a chance in here, so our best bet right now is out there." Chase says.

"I agree," Mia says standing up, "We should leave as soon as possible. We'll grab a few items we need here and then go to Jane's uncle's house and sort it out from there, and while we are at it we'll play that tape."

"But if there is no power here I highly doubt there will be power at his house and unfortunately we don't have a generator." Jane says

"That's fine my generator is semi portable we can make it. I have faith, now that I think about it we should make a list, Dave get me a pen and paper." Mia states.

"On it." Dave says as he runs into the kitchen to get what was asked for.

Mia had a plan developing in her mind and she hoped they could pull it off.
