News Report: yes it seems the cure for cancer can only last for so long it now seems a virus has spread among our town. The virus has affected 20 thousand known characters, leaving them with flu like symptoms, loss of weight, high fever, and even loss of life. So far there are 22 hundred dead. Is this the cause of the Cancer treatment or something much greater-
Mia switched off the TV and huddled closer into her blanket. Thoughts of the virus flooded her mind. All that week symptoms of the virus had gotten worse, school was closed, prom was canceled and most people had stayed indoors. Not Mia though, she still went out and went over to her friends house to comfort them, and try to make it like how it used to be. Her dad was gravely sick and was one of the first people to be diagonosed with this virus. The air felt toxic and everything about this just felt off. No one had found a cure, and her mother worked to the bone to find a cure. The Cancer injections were still being given because when they looked further into the injections they showed no signs of danger or harm, that is at least what they claimed. The injects only grew more popular as to the fact people actually thought that it would stop what was going on. Mia always wondered what went wrong, she didn't know what to do. Finally the time had come and it was officially for her to wake up and get dressed. When she came downstairs she saw her mother on her laptop working away, there was no breakfast just papers everywhere on the table. She hated the way things were now, and just when things seemed they couldn't get any worse there was a knock on the door,
"get the door." her mom said in a manor Mia wasn't used to.
Mia then got up and went to the door. When she opened it she was greeted by a very tall ominous looking man.
"Ms. Garcia?"
"yes?" Mia askes
"something terrible has happened... the virus has taken your father."
