5:00 a.m 

1 week before the FINAL HOUR

     Mia woke up to the sound of her alarm clock, she slowly woke up and slapped her hand on the snooze button. She then slowly get out of bed and put on her glasses. She then took her brush and began to poorly brush her  hair in the dark without a mirror. She then put on some black leggings and a nice blue hoodie. She then finally turned on the lights, and went to the mirror on the inside of her walk in closet. She grabs her brush and a black rubber band. As she puts her hair into a ponytail she smile to herself as she see pictures of her and her other 5 friends that surrounded her mirror. When she is finished getting ready she heads downstairs to see her mom and dad talking happily as her mom prepares breakfast. Mia walks into the kitchen and when they see her they smile and Mia's mom says to her,

"come come quick! sit down there is something I need to tell you this fine morning!"

She nods and takes a seat in front of her plate of food and starts to eat her food, her mom then says,

"The news I told your father is the same news I am going to tell you! So as you know I have been working on a project for a while and finally after 3 years we have finally done it!" 

"done what?" Mia asks in curiosity

"We Cured Cancer!"

Mia's eyes widened at the achivement. She then got up and hugged her mom,

"congrats mom! That's amazing!" 

"yes and the best part is I get to give the shots to all the cancer victums, and those who want to be vacinated!" 

"I am so happy for you! this is the best thing in the world!" 

They hug once more before her mother departs to go to work. Soon after that Mia then too departs from her father's prescence, and began to walk to school. School was as normal, she met up with her friends and they talked until the first period bell rang and the departed, but today was different. At the end of then day while Mia was talking to one of her five friends, Jane, when a boy named Caleb approached them,

"hey ladies, um I just wanted to talk to you Mia."

"well what is it?" she asks

"do you want to maybe go to prom together?"

Mia's eyes light up and she smiles and nods. Caleb then says.

"okay great I'll see you there!"

she smiles and nods once again, Caleb then leaves the two and goes his separate way. Wen Mia looked back at Jane she too had a smile on her face,

"this is AMAZING! we gotta celebrate!" 

"No. let's gather up the gang I have something WORTHY to celebrate." Mia says with a grin.

"better than Caleb asking you to the prom?"

"WAY better."

Jane nods and they walk to get the rest of their friends who where waiting for them outside. their friends Jason and Chase chatting away while their friends Dave, and Grace where on their phones. 

"Guys" Mia yells grabbing their attention, "let's go to my house! I have some big news!" 

They all nod and follow her to her house while they all chat. When they get there no was there and immediately she gets snacks as she turns on the news. 

News Report: Yes Yes the day has finally come! Ladies and Gentlemen the day has finally come, there is FINALLY a cure for Cancer! that's right folks Diane Garcia and her crew of 42 men and women and they finally found a cure! ...

"OMG." Dave says, "this. is. AMAZING!" 

"Yes!" Jane exclaims, "things are Only going up from now on!"

News Report: They are going to now inject over 300 thousand people the vaccination right now. This is a life Changing event! This is gonna save lives!" 

The 6 teens then ate snacks and celebrated like there was no tomorrow.
