16 hours and 48 minutes before The FINAL HOUR

     The teens decided to turn off the lights and wait a few minutes before proceeding. When the time for them to commence. They snuck into the kitchen and went out into the back as soon as they stepped out Dave, Jane, Chase, and Grace started to cough uncontrollably. 

"W-what's h-happening??" Jane said while still coughing looking at Jason and Mia.

"The air it must be t-" Mia began to say before being attacked.

"Mia!" they shouted as the freak was now on top of her.

She was trying to to fend herself from the freak. It was trying to scratch and gnaw at her. Jason tried to pull off it off her since she had all the knives in her backpack. The freak then leaned down about to bite her when all of a sudden a shovel was inserted in its head. The person behind the shovel was Dave. The Freak then fell on top of Mia and she Gasped an pushed it off of her. Jason gave her a hand and then she takes it. She then hugs Jason still a little shaken from the previous encounter. When they depart she looks over at Dave and goes to hug him and says,

"Thank you. For saving me."

"Your welcome. Are you okay?"

"yea I think so." 

They the depart and she checks herself over and  sees no cuts or scars. Then Dave says,

"Look, I have-"

"Come on guys we Gotta get a move on who knows how long it will be until more Freaks come."

The two nod and catch up with the rest of the group. They traveled a long way that should have been short, but with them trying to be cautious, having to climb over all kinds of bushes and fences, and carrying a pretty heavy generator things were anything but fast. When they finally Reached the house that was right across from Jane's uncle's house. There were no Freaks for as much as they could see so they bolted across the street. Jane then got the spare key from under the mat and quickly the 5 teens went into the house leaving Mia outside by herself. Mia then went to the side of the house and unplugged the leaf blower and plugged in the generator. She just had to wait for the sign. It was taking longer than she thought it would so Mia decided to go check for weapons. That was a mistake. When she went into the shed she saw many potential weapons. As she was about to grab one when she heard rustling and growling. She slowly turned and saw a Freak walking up to her, but it was walking pretty fast, and without thinking Mia grabbed a rake and slammed it over the Freak's head and it fell to the ground. She heard more noises and of course there were about 4 more freaks. She was able to kill them all but there seemed to be more. Mia knew she wouldn't be able to keep this up forever, so this time she ran back towards the generator and pulled the cord. It didn't work. She pulled it again but more frantically, it still did't work . She pulled it more and more each time more frantic than the last. She heard more rustling but didn't see any freaks, but she could definitely hear them. A panic rose up in Mia she looked down at the Generator to see one of the wires were out of place. She must have dropped it during her first encounter with a freak. She quickly fixed the wires and closed up the hatch, she then yanked at the cord making it three times looser than it was, but this time it sputtered and started up. She then looked out the house and saw 3 bright light emmitting from it. That didn't make her panic any lesser. She caught a glimpse of a freak and bolted to the front door, she ran inside and slammed the door shut. She heard to very loud flicks of light switches and then footsteps. Dave and Jane came up to her and said, 

"Mia what's wrong what happened out there?"

"Board the front door... and close all the curtains and blinds its a lot worse than we thought."
