I plopped down in the chair beside Nyx and he sent me a look.

"What's wrong?" He asked with a frown.

"Drautos kissed me." I said softly.

"What?" He asked shocked.

"He kissed me... and I... I said thank you." I said as my eyes went wide.

"You thanked him?" He asked with a smirk.

I nodded my head and he burst out laughing. I slammed my head on the desk and let out a groan.

"It's not funny! What do I do?" I asked with a whine.

"Move cities and change your name." He said with a laugh.

"I hate you." I said with a sigh.

My com went off and I clicked it without thinking.

"(Y/n) here." I said softly.

"It's Drautos, I think we need to talk."

"I'm sorry you're breaking up sir. I'll have to call you back later." I said as I pulled my com off.

I let out a groan and hit my head on the table.

"You know you could just talk to him." He said calmly.

"I'd rather die."

"Come on just talk to him. I'm sure it will be fine."

I sent him a look and then ordered a drink. Ten drinks later and I knew it was time to get home.

"I heading home." I groaned out.

"I'll walk you home-"

"No, I'll be fine." I said angrily.

The walk home was short, thankfully I remembered my way home. I went through a alley way to take off a few minutes, but before I knew it though I was thrown against the wall by a stranger.

"Get off of me!" I yelled as I tried to push him away.

"We are gonna have some fun beautiful." He said as he moved his hand under my shirt.

"Titus!" I yelled without thinking.

I knew I couldn't throw the man off of me, but a small thought hit me. Maybe if I yelled for Drautos he would come... maybe he would save me, and in an instant the stranger was thrown off of me.

"Hey what the-"

He was cut off by Drautos throwing him against a wall.

"If I were you. I would go to the Kinglaive and turn yourself in, because if I have to search for you, and believe me I will, I will kill you." He growled out.

He nodded his head and took off running. Drautos turned to look at me and I felt tears stream down my face.

"Are you okay?" He asked softly.

I shook my head no and he instantly pulled me into a hug. He let out a sigh and held me tightly against his chest.

"You're safe.... I promise no one will ever hurt you." He whispered as he kissed my forehead.

The next morning I woke up and felt my head start to spin. I hid my face in my pillow and let out a groan.

"I figured you would have a bad hangover." A voice said.

I set up and saw Drautos watching me from my bedroom doorway.

"How do you feel?" He asked softly.

"Fine."

He pushed off of the doorway and I quickly looked down at my hands.

"You have no idea how much self control I had to use when I heard you scream... I wanted to kill the man were he stood." He said as he looked down at me.

"Why didn't you?"

"Because I was to worried about you."

"Thank you.... for saving me... though I didn't need saving-"

"(Y/n), do you know how worried I was when I heard you scream? Do you know the fear that courses through me when I saw you pinned to the wall? I felt like I couldn't breath." He whispered.

I looked up at him and felt tears stream down my face.

"I... I was so scared." I whispered as he climbed onto the bed and pulled me into his chest.

"I thought he would kill me or-"

I stopped talking and cuddles into his chest.

"I promise you, I won't allow anyone to harm you... not as long as I live."

I looked up at him and he sent me a small smile. He moved his hand to my face and gently caressed my cheek. I closed my eyes and let out a sigh as I leaned into his touch.

"I love you." I whispered.

"And I you." He said as he gently captured my lips with his.
