"Ma'am is this man bothering you?" A man asked as he walked up to me.

Nyx had my fingers laced with his and was dragging me around the store.

"Yea, but he's my husband so I signed up for it." I said as I let out a sigh.

"Oh, my bad." He said as he walked away.

"Baby can we get noddles?" Nyx asked softly.

"Get whatever you want. I'm ready to go home." I said softly.

"You're no help." He said with a frown.

"Sorry, just tired." I said softly.

He nodded his head and we finished shopping. We soon made it home and I plopped down on my bed.

"Work that bad?" He asked as he plopped down beside me.

"The captain hates me." I groaned out.

"He doesn't hate you."

"He keeps forcing me to work extra hours." I said as I snuggled into his chest.

"Cause you're the best glaive we have." He said softly.

I mumbled something and he let out a laugh.

"I love you." He said softly.

"Wove you more." I said calmly.

He sent me a smile and hugged me.

"How about we get some rest." He said softly.

I nodded my head and closed my eyes, quickly falling fast asleep.
