I let out a groan as I pulled my cover closer. It was the middle of the night and my normal heat source was working late. I felt a chill go through me and I hid my face in my pillow.

It wasn't until I heard my door open and close that I shut my eyes and pretended to be fast asleep.

I heard a groan and then the rustle of clothes.

"Babe... you awake?" A voice whispered.

I continued to fake being asleep and he let out a sigh.

"Guess not." He said as he walked over to me.

He moved his hands to my face and brushed a strand of hair away, before pressing a kiss to my forehead. I let out a sigh and rolled over wrapping my arms around his waist. He let out a chuckle and removed his shirt and pants, all while my hands stayed wrapped around him.

"Can you scoot over so I can lay beside you?"

I shook my head no and stayed pressed against him. He let out a laugh and pulled my arms away from his waist. I let out a whine and he laid down beside me and pulled me to his chest. I instantly wrapped my arms back around him and laid my head on his chest.

"You're late." I mumbled under my breath.

"Sorry love.... Cor asked me to stay behind." He said softly.

"Tell him I said that if he needs something done to do it himself." I grumbled out.

He let out a laugh and kissed my forehead.

"I will." He said as he smiled down at me.
