I let out a groan as I hit my head on the desk. I looked up and saw Cor talking to Regis.

"You okay?" Clarus asked as he plopped down in the seat in front of me.

"Cor likes older women, so I can't love him." I grumbled out.

"Cor say that?" He asked calmly.

"Titus."

"(Y/n), I'm sure you will forget about him. And you'll marry some great guy." He said as he patted my back.

"But I want Cor."

"You're just ten, trust me. You'll find someone else." He said softly.

Fifteen years later

I let out a sigh as I walked into the citadel.

"Morning, ma'am." A guard said calmly.

I nodded my head and continued to walk.

"Morning, beautiful." Another voice said.

I turned my head to snap at the person but let out a laugh as I saw it was Titus.

"Oh look it's the devil." I said as he walked up to me.

"Look it's the Marshal's girlfriend."

"Fuck you."

"Sorry, I'm not Cor." He said with a laugh.

I hit his shoulder and we walked through the halls.

"So I heard the King's son is turning five." I said softly.

"Yes and he's already asking to marry you." He said with a laugh.

I rolled my eyes and he shook his head.

"Remind you of a certain woman."

"I was never like that."

"You still are. You still say you love Cor."

"And I do. Noctis just has a small crush on me. And that's probably because he hears you talk about me all the time." I said as I smacked him over the shoulder.

"I don't talk about you. Hell I don't mention you." He said with a laugh.

"Then who has been telling the prince about me? Cause I've barely talked to the kid."

"I have no idea."

"Uncle Cor!" A voice exclaimed.

I raised an eyebrow and we snuck towards the voice. I saw Cor holding Noctis and smiled softly.

"Is the pretty lady with you?" He asked happily.

"No, afraid (Y/n) is busy." Cor said softly.

"I'm gonna marry her one day." Noctis said happily.

"Afraid that position is already taken." Cor said with a smirk.

"What?"

"See she's already gonna marry me."

"So she'll be my aunt?" Cor asked with a frown.

"Yep."

"But I can't marry my aunt."

"Well you can't marry a married woman to begin with."

He started to cry and Cor let out a sigh.

"Don't cry, Clarus will kill me." He said softly.

"Why is the prince crying?" A voice asked.

I saw Clarus walk in and Cor let out a groan.

"Cause I told him he can't marry (Y/n)." Cor said calmly.

"Uncle Cor stole her!" Noctis whined.

"Shame on you Uncle Cor." Clarus said with a chuckle.

Noctis continued to cry and I opened the door.

"Pretty Lady!" Noctis exclaimed.

He rushed up to me and I shook my head.

"I thought I heard crying." I said as I picked him up.

"Uncle Cor said he was gonna marry you!" He exclaimed as he cried into my chest.

"Shame on Uncle Cor." Titus said as I rubbed Noctis back.

I rolled my eyes and Titus let out a chuckle.

"Hey I think I saw your daddy earlier." I said with a smile.

"Really?" He asked happily.

"Yea, Titus why don't you take him to the old man?" I asked with a wink. 

"Of course." He said with a fake smile.

He picked Noctis up and flipped me off before carrying him away.

"I'll go with them." Clarus said calmly.

"So I'm gonna marry Uncle Cor?" I asked with a smirk.

"Well I had to say something to get him to stop wanting to marry you." Cor said calmly.

"He's a kid he'll get over it. I mean hell I had to." I said with a laugh.

"You had the same problem? Let me guess it was Clarus." He said calmly.

"It was actually you. I was ten, and you were fifteen." I explained with a laugh.

"Why did you never tell me?" He asked with a frown.

"Titus told me you liked women your age." I said as I put my arms behind my back.

"You're joking right? (Y/n), I thought I had made it clear that I like you." He said as he turned to look at me.

"Not really."

"Well I like you, have since you turned sixteen." He said with a laugh.

"And you're just now telling me this?" I asked as I looked at him shocked.

"Well I didn't try to hide it."

"Cor Leonis! I'm an idiot! You have to tell me flat out or I'll never-"

I was cut off by him pressing his lips against mine. I let out a gasp and felt him quickly pulled me closer to him. I let out a sigh and wrapped my arms around him, gently kissing him back.

Time skip

Cor let out a chuckle and shook his head as he sent Noctis a smile.

"Remember when I use to say that I was going to marry (Y/n)?" Noctis asked calmly.

"Yea and I told you that you couldn't because I was going to marry her." Cor said softly.

"Gladio told me about what happen..... she was a great soldier."

"And an even better wife." Cor said as he left to go talk to someone.

Cor let out a sigh as he toyed with the ring on his finger.

"Cor the immortal.... married to a mortal. The gods jest." She gasped out.

"Stay with me." Cor begged.

"When Noctis returns.... tell him.... that I fought... teeth and nails to see to him being king." She said through tears.

"I will."

"I love you.... forever and always." She said before the light died from her eyes.

Cor let out a sigh and whipped the tears away. He had a job to do, and he would see it through. For Lucis and for his love.
